We stayed here for one night when we had tickets for Hamilton. Proximity to the theatre was great, and the bathroom was really nice, but we preferred the Renaissance on the river and would likely stay there next time we are in town. We had an atrium room, so just a view of the grey interior of the building. It was very noisy late at night with music echoing in the atrium. The bed was also uncomfortable...I feel like Marriott beds are always so nice, but the mattress was hard and the sheets w... Read more

Pretty mixed stay for one night on business. Room 984. Positives: - Front desk staff were great, room service arrived on time and the fitness center is well equipped. Negatives: - Can't make the room dark as there are only thin curtains - Sink didn't drain properly - Lukewarm water for the shower - Bathroom smelled as if someone expired in it - Plug for electricity at the desk didn't work Overall, pretty disappointing and in need of some repair.

The JW Marriott on the loop in downtown Chicago benefits from the quality of its restaurant, Florentine. It's 24 hour room service has the same quality as the restaurant and enough variety no the menu to order from several times. Hotel has a nice light citrus smell and everything feels of a nice quality.

I tried to book through the Marriott site, but could not as it told me there was an error. I switched computers and got the same answer, to I booked through Expedia. Bad move as this knocked out my free wifi and there is NO 4G access in the room. The arrival was very nice, the room was as expected. I was not happy with the cleanliness of the bathroom as I had to clean up four hairs in the shower before I stepped in and then notice another three before I finished my shower. I have two things... With business downtown in the financial district (Federal Reserve Bank, Board of Trade, Banks), a great place to stay as everything is walkable About a $60.00 cab ride from O'Hare. just blocks from Union Station (train & buses). Only here one night, did not try food nor bar. Nice restful sleep.

A touch of luxury in the heart of downtown Chicago. It is located near the theaters in the center of the city. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the rooms are luxurious and spacious. If you have a chance order room service.

I unfortunately only spent one night at the hotel, so I was unable to visit and experience all of the hotel's amenities. The rooms are fantastically comfortable. As with any hotel, room service prices were on the higher end, but food was definitely good.

Very nice hotel in downtown Chicago. It's two doors down from Willis tower. Such a prime spot for walking the city. Just a short walk to the art museum and the skycloud bean. Very historic beautiful looking building and its very very nice and clean inside. My room was very nice and the bathroom was amazing. Great experience staying here.

Pictures cannot describe how beautiful this hotel is inside and out. The front desk staff, concierge and doormen were so very eager to be helpful as I was traveling alone with my tween daughter and had not visited Chicago for almost two decades, so I had a lot of questions about directions and best places to eat. We were in town to see Hamilton and this location is an easy 5 minute walk to the theater. There were also two Walgreens and three Starbucks within a two block location which was nic... Read more

This hotel may be a few blocks (very walkable) from the Magnificent Mile, but I liked it that way- it was a bit quieter, and you are only a block or two from the Willis Tower (the former Sears Tower). The lobby is spacious, the workout space is one of the best I have seen in a hotel, and there is even a pool and spa. Our room was definitely on the small side, but the bathroom was very nice with above average products. What made the hotel worth it to me was how every single person we interacted... Read more
