Stayed here for IML. Room was large with 2 queens and a nice couch/chair/coffee table area. Left the room at 10 am and came back at 4 pm. No housekeeping! Laid down for a bit and a knock at 5 pm "housekeeping". I opened the door and she said do I need any more towels. That's it!! Mentioned it to the front desk and she said "Is there anything you need?" Felt like saying, "Yes, my room cleaned at a reasonable time!" Mind you, the housekeeping cart was right outside my door when I left at 1... Read more

No one offered to help with our luggage out the car. No one offered to help take the luggage up. I called downstairs to see if they had silverware and was told to "come get it" instead of being offered to have it sent up to the room. Then when I go to get it, it is actually plasticware and not silverware. This is coming from a 4 1/2 star hotel. The toilet seat broke and tv is too small.

This is a great hotel in a great neighborhood. For a city hotel the rooms are LARGE; there is not only a sleeping area but also a couch and coffee table for relaxing. The bathroom is ultra modern with nice lighting. Free breakfast buffet is killer with hot foods in addition to the normal fare. Within walking distance to so many places.

I enjoyed staying at this location for one night, I needed a place to stay around this area, I really recommend this hotel for Becker and Kaplan students coming to take their Exam preparation courses it is one block a way from Kaplan and across the street from Becker Medial. Although as a platinum member I didn't experience anything special. everyone at the hotel received free Internet and breakfast. there was no added value to my membership.but I recognize the 20 Oz free water.

In town on business and this hotel was in the perfect location. Such an easy walk and there were many food options close by. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable - just don't expect much of a view from your room because its just another high rise building you see. The hotel staff are friendly and very helpful - I would stay here again.

This hotel is right downtown in Chicago. Check in was super easy, can be done online and then go to counter and receive key. We had a room on the 17th floor. I would have liked a room with a view but 1701 is butted up to a brick wall. I asked the desk clerk if we could get a better view but he said he was unable and that I should have asked for that when making the reservation...however there was no option online to do that. was not very friendly toward us after that. Within walking distance of Millennium Park, Willis Tower and lots of restaurants and public transportation. Would definitely stay the next time we are in Chicago.

Breakfast buffet had something for everyone. Rooms were clean and beds comfortable. Plenty of room for mom, dad and three kids. Would definitely stay again

Normally I find Hyatt hotels very nice and a pleasant place to stay. This was not the case with the Hyatt Downtown Chicago. Along with hair in the shower, hair stuck on the bottom of the tissue box and a shower curtain that was discolored and looked like it was purchased at a dollar store. Would not stay here again in the future. Overpriced, under cleaned.
