I felt like this was more of a hotel for the business traveler. I felt out of place in my sneakers and was even reluctant to go into the Executive Lounge (for Hilton Honors Gold and above) based on their recommended attire and my lack thereof but my husband went anyway and talked me into joining him the next day. I enjoyed the oatmeal with brown sugar and raisins, fresh fruit and bagels. I don't care at all for processed scrambled eggs. Bacon, ham or sausage would have been nice. And potato... Read more

Hotel and location is great but we used Hilton Honors points for one night and paid for one night, or so we thought. Hilton took the 60,000 points for the one free night and billed our credit card as well. Four phone calls later, still no resolution and now Hilton Honors is informing us to work it out with the hotel. One has to question, why consumer having booked and worked with Hilton's 1-800 number and provided all data to show their mistake MORE THAN ONCE is now being told to call the hot... Read more

Great location as the John Hancock Building is on the next block. One block from Michigan Ave shopping. Great restaurants and shopping all within walking distance. Beware if you have a family of 4. This is a suite hotel and 2 will be on a small sleep sofa. They have no cots from what I was told. Also, very expensive to park. Although the rate quoted was $47, this was self park. In an out privileges cost $66 per day.

Quick business trip to Chicago and was so lucky to have picked this hotel! I was greeted with a smile during check in and was given complimentary bottles of water. I stayed in a king suite which was so spacious! The rooms were newly remodeled and super clean. My bed was soft and comfy and the shower was lovely! The toiletries were by Peter Thomas Roth and I use his products regularly. They are high quality! They also have a beautiful room (for special Hilton Honors members) which has light snack... The hotel was recently renovated and it is a very nice hotel. My room was clean, modern and refreshed. Had a nice king suite with a sitting area and a small fridge with a microwave. Had a nice view of the lake and was within walking distance of many places to eat. The hotel actually has an american eatery and a sushi eatery connected. The only problem is that the WiFi was HORRIBLE. Would not connect, kept cutting out and back in and very very slow. Please Hilton, fix the WiFi!!!!!

Like most Hiltons the place is very clean. The rooms are comfortable and the service is what you would expect at Hilton. Good location, depending on where you plan to be in Chicago. A couple of downsides do exist that will probably make me select another hotel on my next trip (The Drake, also a Hilton, is right nextdoor) to the area. First, I had reserved a lake view room and at check in was told they had overbooked and none were available so the gave me access to the honors lounge to compensat... Read more

We live in Chicago and wanted to get away from the week-long music festival across the street from us for a couple of nights. We found a good price on a suite with a king-sized bed (only complaint - too soft) and separate living area with a nice sofa-bed for our teenager. The room was immaculate, the staff friendly. We love the location; but, the most valuable feature of the hotel is the excellent staff - the front desk, equipment engineer, restaurant staff and a lovely housekeeper named Stella made our stay enjoyable. Keep up the good work - we ill be back.

Loved this hotel. Perfect location at top of magnificent mile. Cheesecake Factory, malls, Hersey, John Hancock centre all around the corner, and so much more. Service and room were faultless. Room modern, separate living area, lovely bedroom, double shower. We didn't use the pool, but it looked nice with views of Lake Michigan. Breakfast nice, although as expected on the more expensive side. Would not hesitate to stay here again!

Attended a business meeting here with 25 attendees. Accommodations were great and the in-house catering staff was first rate and highly attentive. The pool/fitness area had a beautiful view with the latest workout equipment. Would definitely visit again! The only negatives were the internet access (a little spotty) and the in house restaurant (independently owned & operated) was a tad overpriced for the limited menu items.

At first glance checking in was very quick and efficient. The diamond status was recognized but not provided with HHonors floor or welcome gift, after inquiring for a higher floor we were provided with a HHonors room at the 28th floor with superb view. The room was spacious and ample working space. The showers were great and amenities provided for. The only complaint we had was that the internet was very unstable in the bedroom, we had to head over to the desk or living room to be able to do ... Read more

Given shabby room as Hilton honors diamond (highest level). No upgrade as rooms clearly were available though. No welcome gift in room. Complained immediately to front ddsk and was given room on floor 28 which anyway is the Hhonors floor and where they should locate they status customers. Wifi was non existent duri whole stay and front desk had no clue how to help out. Remind me again why do I pay 200$ a night and choose to stay in the same hotel chain? Two reasons, level of service and per... Read more

Recently stayed there for an overnight trip and was not disappointed. The staff was friendly and helpful. This hotel offers valet parking for 66.00 per night or self parking for 44.00. The room was very nice as well as clean. For a hotel in the middle of the city I found it to be quiet. The parking valet takes some time and if you need your vehicle give them a 15-20 minute heads up call or text and when you come down your vehicle will be waiting for you. Another good Hilton stay.

Loved the layout and the location. Loved all of the outlets, easy to charge up phones and laptops. Beds were confortable and the kitchenette was perfect. Close to Bloomingdale's and right on the side of the John Hancock building. Wonderful Stay. Liz

It's our 10 year anniversary. I was up all night stressing through the different travel sites trying to find a nice hotel at the right price to enjoy the weekend. I'm a HH member and big fan. I ultimately chose this hotel. We are on a budget and I booked the low cost room. It looks really nice. This morning I called the front desk and spoke with Jasmine about the possibility of upgrading to the next level. I told her it was our 10 year. Without hesitation she said she would look into moving me u... Read more

Great walking distance for the Magnificent Mile but though it says suites, the entire sweet is the size of a nice room in most hotels. Very tight quarters. Staff was friendly. Nice executive lounge just make sure you don't get there close to closing because their is no consideration given.

Hilton Suites exceeds demands for a good price. Very conveniently located and the service is good. I recommend this hotel for both its location, service, and the fact that you have suites to bask in. Don't pass this up while visiting Chicago.

The suite had a small bedroom, and also a living area with a couch and chair, coffee table, tv and desk. Also a kitchenette with a microwave and fridge. You could access the bathroom through either room. 2 small exercise rooms. You need headsets for the treadmills. The equipment does not face the TV. Very nice pool on the top floor with a great view of the Lake. Very secure building as you need a key card to get up in the elevator. Breakfast could have been better. Scrambled eggs, yogur... This hotel is awesome! Off the high traffic route of Michigan Ave, but just close enough to shopping, dining, and fun in the Windy City. The rooms are huge, and the accommodations are excellent. The first desk was too kind and the doorman for parking, just so wonderful.Wow, the food in the LOCAL, on site restaurant was like home cooked food, so delicious. I will be back to the Hilton Suites soon.

Stayed at Hilton Chicago for a wedding, and thought it was a great little oasis in the heart of a big city. We were there during the World Series, so Chicago was INSANE, but just a few blocks away, was our respite at the Hilton. Room was relatively spacious, and offered enough separation, as we were I was traveling with my boyfriend & his 13 year old daughter. 2 different entrances to the bathroom was nice, as was having another mirror/counter right outside of the bathroom on the bedroom side,... Hilton Hotels generally lives up to its solid reputation for relaxing, hassle free stays, and this hotel is no different. Quality hotel, superb service, and an excellent value all around Located ideally in the heart of the Chicago's "Magnificent Mile" district, the hotel is ideally located for both business travelers as well as tourists that want to be in the mix surrounding by a breadth of different types/scales of restaurants, shopping and other attractions. It's my second visit to the United States. Hilton Chicago was amazing. The room was clean with a decent view of downtown Chicago. However, when booking the hotel, we made sure that the booking was for "bed and breakfast". So breakfast is supposed to be free. But the receptionist said that it wasn't in the computer system. We had to talk to our agent and then confirmed that it was indeed bed and breakfast. We had to eat paid breakfast for 3 days. Secondly, we asked for a wake up call but they... Read more

Our bedroom was nice, with a walled off little living room. We took the breakfast/room upgrade for $34 extra, and for 4 of us, it was worthwhile staying in the hotel. But we were disappointed there was no bacon or sausage; basically eggs, fruit, cereal, breads and juice. Ground floor lobby is small, not too grandiose. The indoor pool and workout center are on the 30th floor; very cool view of the city. Elevators ran well, but on last day of 3-day stay, all six went out and we had to take service... Read more

This hotel is cheaper than the Hilton Hotel that is directly on the Magnificent Mile but I like it better for a several day stay. It is only a few blocks from Water Tower Place and other great shopping and eating places. Each room is a suite with a separate living room, microwave, and mini-fridge. My husband and I love to eat at our favorite places and appreciate being able to bring home left-overs to heat up for breakfast. The hotel was a Double Tree but Hilton did a major renovation severa... Read more

Stayed in August for a work trip. Location is great - literally right on the Miracle Mile and price was unbeatable versus the competition. Rooms were recently renovated which was is a major bonus as well. Had breakfast at the hotel restaurant which was fine & up to par. Would chose this hotel again for personal travel and I'm a long-time Marriott customer.

The Hilton Suites is in an excellent location. We really liked the main entrance which is on a light traffic side street. Staff was great during the entire stay. After checkout, we noticed that the charges on our receipt did not match our confirmation charges. We stayed for three nights, one weekend and two weekday.
