Great location for theater, shopping, art museum. Breakfast was outstanding. Hotel never felt crowded. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and comfortable. Did not hear any hallway noise or street noise during the night.

Perfect spot if you are specifically going to see a show at Private Bank Theatre, which is the main objective of my first stay at this location! Right next door to Hamilton!! The staff I met were very friendly. The men at the door were also friendly and helpful! I only tried the breakfast one day, but I thought there was definitely enough variety to get a good start to your day. I was surprised that there was a continental breakfast because I feel as though many hotels in the bigger cities just ... Read more

Really great location to do touristy stuff in Chicago. Especially if you're here to see theatre! There's a parking garage 5 blocks away for $20/night if you don't want to pay for the hotel's valet. The breakfast is very good with ample seating. And the room decor was very pretty. I saw reviews about the rooms being small, but that was not our experience at all. The rooms were a good size. My only complaint was during check-in, the front desk clerk wouldn't apply our HHonors number to the roo... Read more

Although not a luxury property, this staff provides luxury level hospitality and the beds provide luxury comfort. If seeing a show at The Private Bank Theater I would recommend this hotel over any of the other more expensive Chicago properties at which I have stayed.

My two daughters and I were very comfortable in the hotel. The beds are great and the noise level was low. The staff was very helpful after my daughter came down with the flu and helped make her more comfortable.

We booked a room here to see Hamilton. You cannot ask for a closer location to the Private Bank Theater. We just walked through a door from the hotel and we were in the theater lobby. No need to put on coats for our January show! The main draw of the hotel is the location. The lobby is not very big - nor majestic, but the rooms are updated and good sized. The included breakfast was outstanding with fresh cooked eggs and DIY waffles plus oatmeal, various breads, fruit and cereals. A perfect way... Read more

Stayed one night for a quick trip. Centrally located downtown with a CTA stop just around the corner which made for easy train access from O'Hare. The room was clean and the staff very friendly. The bed was comfortable although the bottom fitted sheet was too small so kept coming off. I had a street side street. While it's been totally modernized it is an old building so noise traveled up easily. Breakfast was decent. Overall a basic stay and decent value for the price

I chose this hotel because I wanted to be near the theater district. Well, I was -smack dab in the middle of it. There are a lot of attractions within walking distance. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms have super high ceilings which makes them feel roomier; not that they're small - they are comfortably large enough. All in all, a nice hotel for the price.

This is our favorite hotel in Chicago. It is in a perfect location and its staff and service are all you would need. The doormen will always find you a cab, the front desk will help you with maps and current information about what is happening in Chicago. There is a nice lobby where you can visit with family and get coffee. The staff is always available.

What a great place to stay!! Nice size beds (queen) with spacious rooms! The staff were all really nice. Parking price ($59/day) was a bit steep but all the hotels charged for parking. The breakfast was free and was delicious! The location of this hotel was fabulous!! We were within walking distance of several shops including Starbucks, McDonald's, and a two story Target. Would totally stay here again!!
