The flowers in the bottom lobby and the original art throughout the hotel get me every time. I find myself taking photos of them and sending them home. Though I was here as recently as four months ago I'm still taken aback by how nice this place is. This time I was placed in a high floor and ear plugs next to the bed said the were for the "windy city." I expected to hear the whooshing of the wind. What I heard was the creaking of the building as it swayed. A bit unnerving but I soon got over it.... Read more

We decided to bring our Westy at the last minute. This was not a problem when we called to check their pet policy. The provided a nice bed and small toy for Pip. She loved the view out to the lake. Close to a park, about 2 blocks. Easy access to the lake front.

Everyone was very helpful from the moment we pulled up in a taxi. We had had a long trip and it was pouring rain, and the gentlemen who were there at the curb helped me deal with a problem paying my cab fare by credit card. Then the staff helped us negotiate our way through the 2 elevator areas to the room, one elevator from the street to the lobby, then another from the lobby to our room. The lobby is stunning and was always so pleasant to come "home" to. This hotel is a great choice if y... Read more

Loved our stay here. All the staff were attentive, especially the housekeeping staff who checked that our stay was ok every day. The upgraded suite that we were allocated had the best view of The Mag Mile, however on day 2 the fog was so thick there was no view. The chicago people are the most friendly we've encountered. The hotel is well placed for seeing the sights and the shopping.

From check-in until departure it was an outstanding experience. I wish I could have stayed longer. Fantastic views of Lake Michigan from my 33rd floor window, beautifully appointed bathroom and the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept in.

Four Seasons' reputation for excellence was rewarded for a reason and it is totally accurate. The staff, the facilities, the amenities and the overall experience was exceptional. Every staff member we encountered was helpful and accommodating. Our king size room was spacious with spectacular lakeside views. Daily turn down service included providing a chocolate treat and bottled water. It's their attention to these little details that make it special.

My husband surprised me with a great stay at the Four Seasons for Mother's Day weekend. It was delightful - we live in Chicago, but he felt I needed some R&R, so he booked this for me. The hotel is located in the 900 N Michigan Ave shops, and service was for the most part impeccable. Upon arrival, you take an elevator up to the Lobby, and proceed to the Front Desk to check in. There was a very small line, and when the Manager noticed this, he assisted us immediately. Not only that, he upgra... Read more

Had an incredible stay at the four seasons hotel and loved the heritage decor of the place. Craig was very welcoming towards us at check-in and we managed to get an upgrade to a lake view room. The spa / indoor pool area was very cosy and a great hideout from the city. Location of the hotel was excellent, we walked everywhere, to the shopping area, the 'bean' park and to the harbor area. Highly recommended stay.

I cannot say enough good things about the staff at the Four Seasons Chicago. Whether you're looking to host a social or corporate outing, this is the place to go if you need true 5 star treatment. PRO TIP - if you need a great meeting room with an epic view for a smaller group (20 or less) ask for the board rooms on the guest room floors. They're stunning.

Absolutely LOVED this hotel......everything was provided and nothing overlooked in terms of visitors' comfort. Our room overlooked the lake which was super. Fantastic hotel - clean, great service, gorgeous views, and perfectly located near shops, restaurants, and the subway. It is right around the corner from the water tower mall and Michigan Ave so its still busy when walking in the evening but the hotel is still quiet. Stayed on the 43rd floor with a city view. We stayed at the Four Seasons Hotel Chicago for four nights in June 2016, as we were attending a wedding. The wedding ceremony was held in the church across the street from the hotel, and the wedding reception was in the hotel. We've just stayed at this beautiful hotel and were stunned about the service level and hospitality. Most pleasant for us was the breakfast experience. Maybe best hotel breakfast I ever had paired with spot-on service. Everything so tasty and fresh since they have a new chef 3 months ago. Really looking forward to go there again soon. This is a beautiful hotel in a great location! The service is top-notch! The lobby, pool and restaurant areas are beautifully appointed. The room is pretty basic though. It was small and had two full beds that were inches away from the walls on each side. Queen beds would be nicer. Also the bathroom was nothing special. This hotel did not disappoint! We went there for my birthday and the staff were wonderful. Their bed was comfortable and the room was extremely clean. We tried their in-room dining and to be honest even at some 5-star hotels the food is not all that great, but that was not the case here, the food was very well prepared. My son who is a toddler was also with us and he had a blast. They got him a toy, cookies and milk at night which he just loved. I would highly recommend going here. The next time... Read more

While I have always been a fan of the FS, frankly the Chicago hotel is not up to the standards of other, newer Chicago hotels. So I am probably in their lowest priced room (basic king room on 45th floor), but the room feels incredibly small and without a makeup table (like the Peninsula and Langham) and no coffee maker the room feels overpriced and crowded. I have not stayed at the Ritz in Chicago but for a similar price you can book either of the hotels quoted and still be in their "cheap r... Read more

The Four Seasons reputation is well earned and well deserved. From the minute you check in to to when you check out the service, amenities, cleanliness, and staff were second to none. That's what you always get at a Four Seasons. It's all in the details: turn down service, toiletry baggies, red lens cloths, robe, slippers---at least as nice or nicer than your own home. It's my hotel of choice.

This is absolutely the best hotel. It is superb on every level from service to food to the great attitudes of their employees. They were great to us when we needed to extend our stay and made sure we had a beautiful room when the hotel was full. We have stayed there many times and are loyal Four Seasons customers both in Chicago and around the country. It's not to be topped in Chicago.

The Four Season is absolutely gorgeous and the staff super helpful and professional as always. I was upgraded to a suite without even asking. The concierge went out of her way to help me with my airline problem. The Fitness room, Pool and Hot Tub had a lovely view of the city and were immaculate.

Awesome property with the best staff anywhere! I stay all over this country at numerous 5 star resorts and this place has the very best service anywhere. Any time you can get an upgrade take it. The corner rooms are nice 2 room suites with unbelievable views. You certainly can not go wrong with any room here though.

Obviously, the Four Seasons is pricey, but if you can afford it, we highly recommend it. The staff is amazing, right down to checking with us a couple of times a day just to see if we need something. The rooms and bath are huge and spotless. I suppose if I had a negative it would be that there is no in room coffee, and I don't usually get out of the room dressed for the day in time to get coffee in the lobby. Room Service is about the only way to get a pot unless you want to sit in the restaura... Read more

Four Seasons are top hotels and the one in Chicago mostly lived up to Four Season standards . The room was really nice ( minus there's no fan in the bathroom and the lighting is terrible). Our view was great and the concierge staff was helpful. The food in the hotel was expensive, service was slow and food was mediocre. And the housekeeping staff couldn't seem to clean room done before 3 pm in the afternoon. The location was really great. Overall it was good experience but I'd probably go back ... Read more

This property is as good as any in the brand as are they all. We were treated as valuable clients in all our dealing with the staff. We were upgraded to a corner suite that was as comfortable as any we have enjoyed. Every staff member was pleasant and helpful. The spa is wonderful and worth the cost. We ran a brunch meeting and they catering department is first rate as was the food. Allium restaurant is excellent as well. This will always be my choice as accommodations in Chicago.

Even though I arrived later at night and had to depart in the morning, the room provided a peaceful respite on an otherwise hectic trip. I stayed in a beautiful corner suite (room 3825), which had views of both the lake and the lights of downtown. It was silent and the bed was perfectly comfortable, leading to a great night's sleep. What a treat to watch the sunrise over the water with my espresso before breakfast arrived. I also liked the little touches in the bathroom, such as the bath salts. ... Read more

I had the opportunity to spend 3 days at the Four Seasons Chicago while on business in October. It had been more than 10 years since I stayed there. It continues to set the bar for an urban hotel experience. I've never had a bad experience at a Four Seasons. Although from all of them...this is pretty standard. Good location on Michigan Avenue. Good restaurant for breakfast. No coffee service for the rooms (which is too bad)....but love the location. Our room overlooks the lake (3407) which is terrific....and the price wasn't as high as you would expect. So, business or pleasure...it's definitely high on my list! Also, nice amenities...gym, pool, etc.
