We had a great experience - the hotel was clean, the room was nice, and the staff was SUPER friendly and helpful! The room was not huge so it's a great place if the room is not the center of your stay. The location was very convenient as well to all that Chicago has to offer!

I was staying here with a friend and her child. I go to Chicago a good amount for work and I'm surprised I never paid attention to this place. I usually stay at the intercontinental, but I'm sold on Fairfield for many reasons. My friend drove us here and she opted to valet the car. You literally pull up and pop out. She opted for overnight parking. The tricky thing is timing it. You have to call the front desk like 15 min ahead of time so they can retrieve your vehicle. There was one time she ... Read more

We spent a weekend in Chicago to see the sights, do some dining and take in a Cubs game. The Fairfield is centrally located in the River North area and is convenient to the Red Line for easy access to all parts of the city. Book a suite and enjoy the extra space. The staff is friendly and very helpful. You cannot go wrong. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Staff were very friendly and service was excellent - especially Danielle on the front desk! Location was close to the Magnificant Mile and restaurants. Conveneience stores and other facilities nearby too. Breakfast was great - lots of options. There was a large group of us and the hotel were very accommodating. Located opposite a fire station so we were worried about noise but I have to say, we didn't hear any noise on 17th floor.

This hotel is right next to RPM, a famous restaurant founded by the first winner of "The apprentice" Bill Rancic. It is also located a walking distance from Michigan Ave bridge and is surrounded by stores, restaurants etc. The breakfast was really complete, they had oatmeal, eggs, sausage links, bagels, muffins, whole fruit, sweet bread, cereals, yogurts, juice and coffee. The only think that could be considered a downside was that they charge $49 for self parking your car for 24 hrs and $62 for... Read more

We came down for Phish on a whim Friday and booked our stay that morning. The guest service representatives were all fantastic and so welcoming! I would be very happy to stay here again! The beds were comfy, the amenities in the room were Paul Mitchell, and the rooms were spotless!

Really enjoyed the stay at this budget option in River North, Chicago. Fantastic location, lots of bars and restaurants all within walking distance. Very welcoming, friendly and helpful front desk staff. Room was clean, reasonable size, well thought out and had everything needed for a quick overnight stay. You can blow a lot of cash staying in downtown Chicago. I'll be using this option from now on.

My husband and I were so happy with our stay. The price for the area was actually really great! We had so many great places to go all right around the corner. It is dead center in downtown. The valet even had great service. We have nothing but good things to say. Even when my husband and I decided to change our plans and had to extend our time there only by a few hours. They made sure we didn't feel like it was an inconvenience. So over all... just a great experience!

The location of this hotel made it easy to navigate to multiple places in the city. Fairly close to mass transit, easy to catch a cab if needed. Great breakfast, very friendly staff. The only problem was that one elevator was out of service. The hotel made the service elevator available to guests, but the wait was sometimes very long. Our rate seemed a little pricey, but that may have been because we did not book until rather close to our travel dates.

Staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a very good buffet with lots of selection including fresh fruit. Be aware that the firehall across the street sends trucks out with sirens blaring day and night.

This hotel is a fabulous value! The staff is very friendly and helpful. Our room was completely updated and bed was comfortable. The room was not huge but it accommodated our family of 5 nicely. The only reason I gave it 4/5 was because the air mattress provided a roll away didn't hold air. The free breakfast is a huge savings for my family and the self parking is fairly convenient.

I was worried about getting reservations for our group of nine on short notice. I called the Fairfield Inn after I saw online that they had rooms with two queen beds and a fold out couch. These rooms were CLEAN and well layed out. There were two flat screened televisions in each, which helped us all unwind after long days tromping around the city. Our mornings started out with a wonderful complimentary breakfast. The staff members could all be ambassadors for the city. Everyone was so help... Read more

Phenomenal stay. Miss Stephanie at the front desk was the best part of the hotel. She spent time with my daughter and us. She took extra good care of us. We will definitely stay again. We met my sister and her family there for a last minute stay. Valet was great, rooms were beautiful.

Really enjoyed our stay. First time staying at a Fairfield brand hotel and was extremely impressed with the quality and value of the hotel. Hotel was completely renovated as were the rooms - which were very spacious, including the bathrooms. Our family of 4 with two young teens were extremely comfortable - very comfy king bed with quality bedding and the kids slept on the pullout which had a quality matress. Free internet and inroom microwave and 2 TV's. Breakfast was a hot/cold buffet and ... Read more

The hotel was a great location with it being near tons of food. All employees were really nice. The parking garage is three blocks away unlike most hotels I've stayed at where it is closer. To valet your car, the price is even more ridiculous than the ridiculous price of regular parking. So prepare for parking inconvenience. As usual hotels in downtown Chicago are really expensive and this is no exception. The breakfast buffet was great and the rooms were very comfortable. Oh and the maid came... Read more

Great location. Awesome staff. Very good breakfast. The hotel is across from a fire station, however, we were high enough up (11th floor) that we weren't bothered by siren noise, etc. The hotel does provide ear plugs if you think you may want them.

My daughter and I recently stayed here during a group gathering with friends. Our experience was absolutely amazing. From the moment you walk in, the staff is extremely courteous and helpful. Our room was clean, stocked well, and with extra towels. The breakfast is great - hot items as well as cold. The breakfast staff is amazing - always around to help, picking up our plates for us, and in general being wonderful. It is truly evident this Fairfield Inn is run well, and the staff love thei... The travelers (T.) may omit this hotel, then limiting their easy access to many Chicago's attractions including various architectural gems and a wide range of restaurants. The hotel is located just across Chicago Fire Department, but assuming that because of it all time is loud is a MISTAKE. Our stay was safe and relatively quiet outside. The hotel have sound proof windows. However, as I have experienced, not in all rooms. T. must ask for this type of room. The hotel was probably renovated recen... Read more

They do hospitality right ensuring the guests' comfort and satisfaction at breakfast. Danielle always smiled and greeted us in the lobby, she is wonderful. Our room was very clean, comfy bed, no complaints. The fitness center is convenient and well equipped with a variety of equipment. I used one of the treadmills. This h... Read more

This hotel is wonderful! Very clean rooms, nice options at the free breakfast, and the location is perfect for getting out into the city. The best part of our stay was check in. Usually a mundane step before the fun of the stay begins...not here. Danielle and Stephanie had us all laughing and chatting through the whole process. Made us feel very welcome! I spent three nights here on my first visit to Chicago. Hotel is centrally located just a short 4 minute walk to the Red Line train. The staff was no nice and helpful from the bellman to the front desk to the breakfast room staff.
