I had the chance to stay 2 nights at this location in April and was extremely pleased. On top of the high quality customer service I received from every department (front desk, concierge, housekeeping), the location is conveniently located 2 blocks from the Grand RED Line station, as well as walking distance to great restaurants, bars, and entertainment near the river and Michigan Ave. The room itself was small but extremely well laid out. The modern style of furniture offers plenty of built in... Read more

Enjoyable trip to Chicago for business. The hotel was located perfectly for everywhere I needed to be with easy access to "L" stations, walkable. My room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The environment was lively and colorful in the lobby and restaurant areas. Once in my room, it was relaxing and quiet. The sounds of Chicago (honking horns mostly) were pretty well drowned out with the windows and blinds closed. I would choose Aloft Chicago City Center again in the... Read more

Stayed here in April, the location is really good, you can reach many places walking and there are hundreds of restaurants around. The restaurant adjacent to the hotel; has a very nice brunch which I enjoyed. The front desk staff was very friendly, however I didn't have anyone helping me with my suitcases and I had a huge one, would have been nice to get some help.

This hotel is part of Westin chains and we had a free night. Very different, reminded me of European style. Modern and trendy. Right near a lot of restaurants. Beatrix has great breakfast/room service. Shower was great. Front desk staff very quick and friendly. Has a fridge in the room. Highly recommend it for a different hotel feel. Comfy bed too!

-The hotel is in the City Center which makes it very practical to be able to see the most of Chicago. -The staff was very welcoming, always willing to help to make our stay agreeable. For example, we asked for more tea and coffee in our room and we got some shortly after with extra cups ! -Talking about the room, it was very clean, the bed was large and comfortable. Had an overall great experience while at the Aloft for memorial weekend. I tried to check in a bit early Sun am--room wasnt ready (understandable) but REALLY enjoyed brunch at the adjacent restaurant Beatrix. Room, staff, cleanliness, room service, etc were all superb. Also liked having snacks (ice cream, hot pockets, water, juice, etc) available in the lobby for purchase at odd hours. I will 100% return to this location in the future.

Pregnant wife and I had great experience visiting Chicago and for the most part enjoyed our stay and were treated very well by the Aloft staff. I attempted to contact the manager via several outlets, but the only response I received was from the front desk manager, who promised to get a response from the general manager. The room was very clean, and did not feel like a " pet room". My kids loved that when they turned on the T.V. the screen would read a greeting with my name. Great, great place. Rooms and lobby had a sleek contemporary look that reminded me of my hotel in Reykjavik with comfortable beds and large, compartmented bathroom. Firstly, they really need a better set up for curbside. There was a valet stand but if you want to self park (we use Spot Hero), it is extremely difficult to unload and to check in. There just wasn't anywhere to leave car for 5 minutes. The room was comfortable - only one complaint...please put magnifying mirror in bathroom area for us ladies doing our makeup!). We loved the location in River North near lots of restaurants and bars.

Actually located in great place with lots of restaurants nearby and quick walk to shopping and metro. Bed was comfortable and room appointed okay, no frills, but had everything you'd need. The one major drawback it is located right around the corner from a major fire station and they are a busy fire station with sirens blasting all day and night. Stayed during the World Series and despite the crowds, chaos and revelry, the staff provided great service, the room was clean and comfortable and the food at the restaurants was terrific. The location is excellent -- an easy walk across the river to the Loop, up to Michigan Avenue for shopping and close to plenty of good restaurants.

A Loft is a very disappointing place. The biggest problem is the poor service and the attitude of the staff. Start with the front desk, nobody speaks fluent english. ask for something to the room and the answers are always No No No... The good thing - Breakfast is really really good!

Spent Friday and Saturday of the World Series at the Aloft. We didn't take advantage of many amenities or room service so cannot comment on those. The room was serviceable, a king size bed, desk, dresser, and bench. One minor quibble, there really wasn't a place (that I found) to hang your hand towel by the sink. I guess you could use the hook where the hair dryer was, but that was pretty low. We hung a towel on a pants hanger (the closet such as it is is across from the sink). There are a coupl... Read more

This is an interesting and neat place to stay while you're in the city of Chicago. I found this hotel on the app Hotels Tonight and a very cheap price. It's near the airport and near the train station and walking distance to entertainment. They also have complimentary shuttle that I took to the train station. My most favorite part of this hotel is that they are pet friendly. Upon check in they have a care package for your fur baby and a fluffy bed. There is a pool and work out gym. Only thing th... Got a good rate in Chicago for this hotel but wasn't sure what I would find since I usually stay at the Sofitel when I'm in town. First impressions - this is a great little hotel - clean, comfortable, modern, all the main amenities like room service, laundry ... ticks all the right boxes! Beatrix restaurant that adjoins the property offers a small but interesting menu - something a little different from the norm. Lovely venue, tasty food, service was OK but no real complaints. Sure it's not... Read more

A quick visit to the windy city to see the audaciously awesome Andra Day meant we would need a hotel for us. I'm glad we picked the Aloft, because it was within walking *(or stumbling ;) distance of the concert venue House of Blues, and the hotel is modern and clean, even if the room wasn't a big one. The layout of the room meant seeing the handwash sink to our immediate left, and the closet was the wall dividing the room from the washing area. A fairly large safe is on the closet wall, and a ...
