We were on our way to another rooftop bar but decided to try this one and glad we did.The views are simply breathtaking, you would be reccommended to book a table if you want to sit and take it in, but if you are prepared to sit near the bar you can still get a good view. A bit pricey but you are paying for the view and it's well worth it

I love the hotel, great location, rooms and staff! Check-in at 4 however if you have some luck they might check you in around noon! The rooftop on the 21th floor has a great view of the city and Lake Michigan(partial). I arrived at the hotel today and don't have any comment about breakfast yet.

Stayed here for 2 nights last weekend. Check-in was quick. We had a standard double room with lovely view of the river; like other travelers mentioned, the Trump sign could be annoying. Love the online check-in where I can pre select our room prior to arriving. Appreciate the hotel in accommodating our request of a room with view :) We didn't use the gym or pool but did check out the roof top - nice view! The room is clean and nicely appointed. My husband enjoyed the nespresso machine. We didn't... Read more

We spent two nights at the hotel for the wedding of our son and his new bride and the venue and service were spectacular. This was, I understand, the first booked wedding to the public since the hotel opened a few weeks prior, and the staff had their act together as if they'd been hosting such events for years. Joy was instrumental in making sure that all the details were attended to. We got to know the front door/valet staff very well over our stay with all our comings and goings - they were... Read more

After reading so many wonderful reviews of this hotel, I was skeptical that a stay would be a disappointment. I was wrong! From the initial reservation, to checking in, to the delicious breakfast, and the outstanding room, the stay was the best! Everyone went out of their way to be helpful and accommodating. The room was well appointed and delightful. Thank you, by the way, for the very nice upgrade! I highly recommend this excellent hotel.

I looked and looked for a place that I could afford in Chicago, Ill. We wanted to surprise Our granddaughter with a visit. We found the Landon House Chicago. Im pretty picky or shall I say, candid? This place was perfect though. The location was wonderful, right on the river and central to Michigan Ave. shopping, theaters, the Art Museum and restaurants. Some rooms have a breathtaking view. My room (corner studio) had a nice view of the river and the the room rate was modest. Higher rate= better view I assume. We upgraded our room with points and our check-in process was good. I was welcomed as a Diamond member. It was a beautiful room overlooking the river. However, the service aspect of this hotel is weirdly lacking. They charge you 71 Dollars for a Valet and what you get is attitude from the Valet service and the hotel employees. They won't even respond to questions about when the car can be requested (I was told 15 minutes. It's going on to 40 minutes now. No sign of our car yet! Awesome, right? ... Read more

London Chicago is in a great location. Right off Michigan Ave overlooking the bridge and the Chicago River. The front entrance is not very visible from the street. Waited for this one to open since I heard about it in the summer of 2015 and finally had a chance to stay there. It was worth the wait! Corner suite had a nice layout that made good use of space. The desk/sitting area was separated from the bed (may be the most comfortable Hilton bed I've slept in) by a floor to ceiling divider that also contains the television on a pivot (opposing side is a mirror) so you can rotate it depending on which side you are on. New, dramatically designed, and at a great location...not a bad start! Add-in a good staff and the hotel manages to be both modern and welcoming at the same time. This is a winner for downtown Chicago. Strong recommendation for the Vista King rooms as they face the river and bridges with floor to ceiling windows. They must have used airplane glass as the room was silent even though we faced Wacker Drive. Our experience with the concierge was hit or miss, with one being fantastic and the oth... Read more

This is one of the newest "hip" places to be in Chicago. The rooftop bar is amazing, and the hotel staff are fantastic. I have stayed here several times, and never been disappointed. There is a text service upon check in, and if you ever need anything during your stay, just text and whatever you need is handled, or delivered to your door. The continental breakfast on the 21st floor is high quality, especially for a complimentary buffet, although the selections are a little slim. The bath and sho... Read more

Londonhouse Chicago is a wonderfully located hotel on the River. Rooms are spacious and modern. Beautiful views of the river and lake. Cross the bridge and you are on the magnificent mile. Staff were friendly. Internet connectivity was good. Would recommend this property if one wants to stay downtown.

As a HHONORS gold member, I saw the high reviews of this hotel and booked it for a 4 night stay. I got an excellent price. Arriving I was welcomed as a Gold member, but did not receive my two bottles of water (I forgot to remind the staff). I did, however, receive my complimentary breakfast coupons. We got a room overlooking Chicago river. It was a luxurious, but tiny room - basically enough room for the king sized bed, one chair and a little desk. The air conditioner was soooo quiet. The... This is a new property to the Hilton chain. Our past visit has been hotel near the Chicago river and Michigan avenue. The London house does not disappoint. Live the location, we were checked into a corner room with a direct view of Michigan avenue and the Chicago river. Everything within walking distance and you just can't wrong. The service is great, housekeeping made sure our 2 night stay had a spotless room. The breakfast buffet is served on the 22nd floor but there is really no vie... Read more

There's.a hotel renaissance in Chicago and the London House does not disappoint. Right on the river at the perfect location, accessible to both the loop and Michigan Ave. Great lobby, incredible rooftop and very well appointed rooms. I had the corner junior suite in the original building and preferred the space, layout and views to the Vista rooms. My only complaint are the elevators which don't have floor buttons inside the cars. You program at the floor and it directs you to the arriving car... Read more

Very excited to stay at this property. Check in was a breeze. The front desk asked if we wanted to upgrade to a room with a view for an extra $20 a night. We declined and I'm glad we did. Our room did have a view, just only from the bathroom. But we didn't care. It was a nice view of the river. The room itself was a bit cramped but adequate. The big divider in the room was what made it a bit tight. But let's be real, we didn't spend that much time in the room and we weren't in town for that lon... Read more

We recently spent three nights in late August at the London House. I was definitely more than impressed with our whole experience. Everything from chick-in, the room itself, and the staff far exceeded our expectations. The room (we had a one bedroom suite) was fantastic. I'm a stickler with beds (hate these ultra fluffy pillow top ones), and their bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds I've slept in. I even tried the rollaway, and it was firm and supportive as well. The room was ... Read more
