We recently stayed at the Chicago Omni while in town for an academic conference. The weather was absolutely beautiful along with the city of Chicago. The Omni's location on Michigan Avenue was in the heart of the city, every destination on our itinerary was less than a mile away! It must have been a popular time to visit because originally there were no rooms available, luckily Bradley Hammond saved the day and helped us make arrangements for a couple rooms. We can't thank him enough! Also Charl... Read more

We really enjoyed our four nights at the Omni. It is located right in the middle of things. Our room was very clean upon arrival and every day in between. The mini bar is pricey (as they all are) but we found the 24 Walgreen's across the street one block away which sells beer, wine, snacks, etc. The doormen here are also a wealth of information. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Chicago.

This hotel was in an outstanding location. Many shops and restaurants within walking distance. Request a higher floor because the only downfall was the noise from the sirens at night. It is near a hospital! But otherwise, very nice and clean and spacious suite rooms. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I would stay here again!

This was our second time in Chicago, and this hotel is situated right in the heart of everything. We had a corner suite which was very comfortable and cozy. You can walk to most everything from this hotel which is exactly what we did. Staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. Only thing that was bad, is that the sirens seem to run through the streets all night long, but it is Chicago. We will stay here again, loved it!!!

This hotel was really top tier and in a great location, especially if you are planning on shopping on the Mag Mile. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the room was beautiful, bigger than expected, and very clean. Although my room was next to the service elevator, I never heard any exterior noise in my room. This hotel is in. Great location for shopping along the Miracle mile. You can drop bags back at the hotel to continue shopping the other end. The room I stayed in had recently be renovated, it was very comfortable and clean. One thing about staying in the centre of Chicago is the Siren Noise, they are fairly constant and loud through out the night.

I do alot of business in Chicago - and have made it my business to stay at every one of the 'Michigan Avenue' hotels from south to north. I had overlooked the Omni until this time - and I must say - their VALUE for PRICE was out of this world. They have the features and quality of any hotel twice their price. The in-room-dining experience was 2nd to none. Nice work Omni!

We asked for 2 beds as I was staying with my daughter and mother in law. They offered us a pull out sofa bed as my 2nd bed. This was incredibly uncomfortable. So much so that my mother in law, myself and my daughter opted on the 2nd night to sleep in the king bed. The sofa bed should not have been offered as a 2nd bed since it was not usable and my mother in law had a terrible nights sleep the first night. Very comfortable, upscale suite hotel. Excellent, safe location. Wonderful onsite 676 Restaurant. (Had corn ravioli with edible flowers & was amazing!). Excellent staff. Quiet--didn't hear city traffic during the night. Elevator scramble was a challenge as a convention was in the hotel & you have 2 different sets of elevators but no big deal really.

Looking at hotels along Michigan Ave can be overwhelming, especially if you're on this site. Although there are higher rated hotels on this popular stretch of Chicago's main street , you can't get much better than the Omni. They have a huge standard size room, where the bed is actually closed off from the living area of the hotel room. The door men, bell hop, and concierge were very helpful every time we saw them. The carpets were dirty and stained in some palces, but other than that this hotel was excellent! Concierge and all staff went above and beyond my expectations. Parking is totally over-priced to me and it took 15-20 minutes to get our car from the valet, but I am told that is typical for downtown Chicago. Beautiful views, comfortable beds and excellent martinis in the 676 bar!!

The Omni Chicago is a very good all-suite hotel on the 'Magnificent Mile' shopping area in Chicago. I signed up for their loyalty program and got express check-in (you literally just pick up your key at the desk and don't have to talk to anyone) as well as 'free' basic WiFi with my membership. We loved the location as it was in a good area with easy walking (if a little spread out) to many Chicago attractions. For the rest, we uber'd our way around the city effortlessly. Check-in was smooth and easy. We were greeted by a friendly and helpful staff person. We were on the 23rd floor in a signature suite. The photos from others show the room well. I have stayed at this hotel many times. It is a little pricier, but you cannot beat the location and the few extras you get when you join their loyalty program. We were able to have coffee and tea delivered to our room every morning free of charge. The rooms are large and we have enjoyed having a separate living area from the bedroom area.
