I gave this hotel 4 stars because it is a nice hotel, great location, and very helpful staff. Our room was very comfortable, but my complaint would be no soundproofing. Our first night was a Saturday, and there was a party in the room next to us. I had been awake well over 36 hours traveling, and desperately wanted to sleep, but I could clearly hear every single conversation in that room next to us ALL NIGHT! It would get quiet for a while, then someone was back laughing and yelling, over and ov... Read more

Friendly front desk staff and centrally located -- walking distance to major downtown attractions and bus / train stops. Clean and decent size room on the 11th floor. Bed was super soft, which was good for us but may not be everyone's favorite. Will stay again!

For the value, this is by far the best you'll find in downtown Chicago. The rooms are huge, the TV is gigantic, and everything just feels luxurious without being over the top. Stayed for two nights in May. Actually still here, but impressed enough with the stay that I wanted to post straight away. Location is terrific, staff and guests friendly, decor warm and inviting...hip, but not tragically so. Room was a very pleasant surprise. In immaculate condition, well appointed, with floor to ceiling windows. Unlike sometimes cramped urban hotel rooms, this (standard) room must have been 500 sq feet. My new home in Chicago!

This review comes a little late but none the less present. Let begin by saying that this was probably the best location you could stay at if you want to get the most authentic Chicago experience for a great price! The hotel is only a 15 min walk from all of the major tourist sites, the bean, weber grill, the art Institute, John Hancock and many others. But that's besides the point, because to me it's the service that really matters. The service provided by Robert, Yuri and Russell exemplifies... Read more
