The rooms are very spacious and the beds are very comfortable. The staff was very helpful with any information we were looking for about Chicago. This is a great location for walking, shopping and access to theatres and the train system. They also have a faintastic restaurant, Hoyts that serves the best Ruben sandwich! I would definitely stay here again!

This was our second time staying here and there are many reasons we like this hotel. Our one bedroom deluxe unit was neat, clean, modern and spacious with a great view of the Chicago River. The location can't be beat and is close to many dining and entertainment options. The only thing keeping this review from being excellent is the inconsistent and unreliable wi-fi service. Very nice property with awesome views of the Chicago river. great location also. Within walking distance of many of the must see Chicago sights. Helpful hint: do not accept a room by the elevators. They are very loud during the night and disrupt your sleep. We will definitely stay there again just not by the elevator.

What we were disappointed with were the elevators....they weren't staggered like most tall hotels (Floors 1 - 18) Floors 19 - 38). We were on the top floor (Floor 38) and by the time we made numerous stops, we were jammed into the corners in the very back. At times, when people were cramming on becau... Read more

Great location, close to everything; the "L", River walk, Magnificent Mile, even Second City, and other locations a quick Uber ride away.

The staff were very courteous, the hotel was clean, and I overlooked a great view of the city from the 35th floor! The restaurant was convenient and a good option, but a little expensive for drinks.

The room was great...well done and comfortable. The location and view was outstanding. However, we came in late at night and GPS did not direct us to the resort correctly. It took us 1 1/2 hours to find. If you have difficulty locating, the resort is on the street level, not below and as directed by GPS. Use your instincts and have a good address and follow the numerical street numbers and DO NOT RELY on the GPS for directions. Parking is $65 a day with no alternatives.

The hotel is steps away from the riverwalk and steps from Michigan Avenue and Waecker. The corner bakery is great since its next door.

Great place and view was incredible. Bathroom lacked water pressure and was extremely small. Temperature regulation in the room was great. View was unreal.

Although the size and quality of the room was fantastic, the idea that you may or may not have hot water available when you want to take a shower was a major disappointment. I was there for 4 nights and 2 of the 4 mornings when I went to shower there was limited or no hot water at the time I was wanting to shower. The first time it happen the water started luke warm then got colder. I rushed through my shower. The second time it occurred there was nothing but cold water. I had to take an abbrevi... Read more

My daughter & I planned a long weekend trip to Chicago back in April 2016 for late Oct. Who would have guess the Cubs would be playing at Wrigley in the Workd Series? So, the trip itself got bonus points for that! I booked 3 different hotels and finally settled on this one. Our rooms have a stunning view of the river. service at the hotel was outstanding. Room service breakfast was good.It is actually a very old property that has been refurbished. Personally, I liked the 'old' feel to it. But,... Read more

The hotel is located at the city's center. Just a view walking minutes you can see the Magnificent Mile with plenty shops. The stuff is helpful and welcome you with a smile. We took once breakfast there but it took a while to get it ready. My room was on the 6th floor looking in front with a view to the river and Trump Tower. The room is big and equipped with a double bed , extra sofa and a desk. Plus a coffee machine which is awesome.

We stayed three nights for a conference, and the room was superb. This once was the old Executive House, but it has been up-scaled to a delightful replacement with large rooms, exceedingly comfortable beds, large bathroom with overhead rain-shower, plus rooms looking over the Chicago River (if you ask for such rooms). It's a little shocking to throw open your drapes and face Trump Tower but the River view cannot be beat. Nice divan for reading or watching TV. We'll be back for the room and the p... Read more

The hotel and room were wonderful and comfy. The restaurant staff were terrible. They would disappear for long lengths of time and when they would recognize that there was a customer waiting, it would still take a long time for the staff to come over. Had to ask the bus boy on a number of occations for service and then the bar tender would appear from the back and grudgenly get you a menu or take your order or serve your food or give you your bill. Very poor service in the restaurant!

We enjoyed the Wyndham, but there were a few things that could have made the stay better. The lobby had an extremely strong potpourri smell. My husband and I held out breaths until we got past the front entrance because it was so strong. We loved our room! It was spacious and clean. However, the bathroom didn't have very hot water. It was warm water. Not warm enough to use the shower. The wet bar faucet had very hot water so I can only imagine that maybe one of the hot water heaters is n... Read more

We stayed in a suite. It was clean and very nice. The pull out couch was in a little room separated from the master bed with a TV...it was perfect for my daughter. There was a computer desk in which my husband could set up his computer and do his work. The master bed area was large with a TV. The bathroom was very nice, large and spacious. There also was a large bar area with 2 drawer fridges. We were extremely comfortable & really enjoyed staying there for 6 days.

The Wyndham Grand Riverfront (WGR) is an excellent hotel set in the heart of Chicago. It is directly across the river from the Trump International and within easy walking distance of many great restaurants and sites. By big city standards, the room on the 35th floor was HUGE! In fact, I've been in NYC hotels where 2 room could've fit in ours! Room was very well appointed with Keurig coffeemaker, refrigerator, small sofa and very comfortable beds. Bathroom was also very large and amenities were t... Read more

A friend and I stayed at your hotel. November 11 through the 13th. We've booked our reservations for hotel reservations and requested for an upgrade if we could get one. Before we got to your hotel we received in email said we received the upgrade to A upper floor on the hotel and a river view. It was totally worth the upgrade. The view was great and no traffic noise. room was clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Excellent location to explore Chicago which is an absolutely gorgeous city. We were only here for three nights. This city is my favourite to date. My favourite up to visiting Chicago was New York. The buildings ,architecture and people in Chicago are amazing. I will definitely return and spend more time here .

I recently visited Chicago to visit family. We stayed in the Wyndham hotel. Three of us shared a room where there were 2 queen beds and ensuite bathroom. It was a lovely room and there was a great view. We stayed on the 16th floor. There was a mixup in our room when we first arrived but it was dealt with quickly. The lady that did originally check us in wasn't the friendliest person! We ate in the restaurant on one of the nights and this unfortunately was a big let down down. There were 5 of us ... Read more

Our double queen room was huge with an outstanding view! We were in 3816. Same housekeeper both days and she was WONDERFUL!! Doorman and bellhop were both also great!! Cons - the paint was pretty beat up on our room door and in the room. Also had almost zero water pressure (tough time for us girls to rinse out our hair ... Read more

The Wyndham Resort in Chicago is beautiful. My teenagers love it as its been our second time there. We stayed in a studio as it is furnished very nicely. We have five in our family so it was a bit tight. However, they were able to accomodate us with a cot for and additional $30/night. All of the larger rooms were book. The location is great! We walked to to Magnificient Mile for dinner, shopping and a movie. Great location!

If you don't save to book a regular room, the one with a view will offer a real unique panorama of Chicago's best. They are not high rise and you can see lots of street live, Chicago river, tourists groups, etc. Our room was facing Trump tower, and, first day after elections, we saw some protesters and police circling the tower and blocking bridges. In addition, the room was surprisingly quiet and comfortable, service friendly and not invasive at all. A good restaurant too with rather inexpensiv... Read more

I thought the Wyndham was a decent place to stay, but I don't know that I would go back again. They have a great location on the river and most of the staff that I encountered was very friendly. We booked 2 nights to spend Thanksgiving in the city. We used hot deals from Hotwire to book, and got a great deal compared to the regular fee for a room. However, because we used Hotwire, the hotel put us in one of their worst rooms. There was a view of building roofs and that's about it. The show... Read more

I cannot say enough about the friendly staff all around, from the front desk to room service and beyond. The staff graciously accommodated any requests we had. The location was perfect for the purpose of our visit, right by the Magnificent Mile and just a short stroll to Millennium Park and the Loop area. We had a spectacular view from the 17th floor ?? River views and was convenient to the Riverwalk where you could walk all the way down to McCormick Place if you chose to and within easy walking distance to Navy pier. Close to most restaurants too. Bed was super comfy Ann room was large enough where you could hang out for hours and just enjoy the views-expansive windows! Room was very clean and well appointed.
