I got a deal on this via a rewards program, so that was why i chose this hotel. Turned out to be a good choice. I guess if you get a river view it would be a lot nicer but unfortunately I got a view of some building. Not a big deal since I came to visit the Cubs in the WS. The location is easy to find, the rooms were standard, the staff helpful, the restaurant a nice choice for lunch. The place won;t wow you but neither will it let you down.

We recently stayed at this hotel which is conveniently located across the river from Trump Tower, down the block from the Corner Bakery, Walgreens and Mortons Steak House. From check in to check out everyone was very nice and helpful. They welcomed our card playing in the lobby and restaurant when not busy. We had stayed at this property before it was Wyndham and thought the rooms large and bathrooms very large and very clean. We ate the breakfast buffet every day and though the foods offered di... The weather was cold but our room was warm! The staff were friendly and helpful! Two of the best doormen ever! Drinks were good after a day of museums!

Checked into this hotel with ease, friendly staff. Had a drink at their bar/restaurant in the lobby. Good range of food and this is where they serve breakfast. Room was a river view room on the 25th Floor, great view to the river and city. Room was large, with two beds, very clean and the hotel was really quiet at night. 10 minute walk to magnificent mile, ice rink and cloud gate, plus plenty of shops. Definatley recommend this hotel. Internet was included as well.

I had a great experience overall and definitely will be back. I stay in the downtown Chicago area frequently and this place is a step above the other options. The rooms were clean and very spacious. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, especially Caleb and Jean. Last, being right on the river in the heart of downtown Chicago, this place has the best views I have seen yet!

The best location in Chicago! The riverfront room view is amazing during day and night! Restaurants around the corner in 2 mins walk, a supermarket on another side of the street in 3 mins walk, train in 10 mins walk... What else would you need? - I know what! - the Chicago Riverfront Trail! it is down at the river in 3 mins walk! and it connects with the Lakeside Trail. Enjoyed my stay very much and will be back whenever in the city.

This place was recommended by a friend to us for our first trip to Chicago. The location and views have to be one of the best on the river. It was incredible and we will be returning many times.

the location was awesome. the room was clean. parking was expensive and i was very pleased that i was only charged for a one day valet parking on site even though i was in the garage for about 28 hours. the staff was great esp the bell men. Trump tower right across the river was very exciting. very fun to be so close to everything.

I spent 2nights staying at Wyndham. Honestly speaking, the location is good. But the service, especially the service of its valet department is just so so so bad. The first night, we have called half an hour in advance, but we have still waited I. The lobby for 2 hours. The only explanation they gave me was that the elevator of the parking building was broken. Before I checked out, I asked for my car again. When they drove that to me, I noticed an obvious sketch on the drivers door. It was so ob... Read more
