Needed a room for the night on the South side and found this hotel. Easy access off the highway, Plenty of free parking. Check-in smooth. Lots of places to eat nearby. Not a huge room but did not feel cramped. I didn't have any issues with cleanliness of the room. The bathroom was small but fairly well laid out. Decent water pressure and hot water. A small fridge is provided. Very comfortable bed. Wireless internet with speed 5 Mbps although I had a little trouble staying connected and ... Read more

We chose this hotel for it's convenient location off the freeway as a overnight stop on a longer trip. The staff was very friendly and the room was clean. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast room was a nice size and offered all the usual free breakfast hot and cold choices. The Wifi was really slow but that was the only negative during our stay.

We love all of the Holiday Inns, but this one was the best. It is surrounded by a multitude of restaurants and has an easy on easy off access to 294. Clean, quiet, will stay here again in a heartbeat.

This is a fine hotel, but most other Holiday Inn Express Hotels are better. The location is good depending on where you need to visit. The breakfast was good as all Holiday Inn Express Breakfast's are the same. The food did not get our as fast as it should though.

Rooms seem to be recently updated. Bedding is luxurious. Frig & microwave in the room. bathrooms are the usual size, but clean. Covered portico with benches to sit outside. Public area inside has plenty of comfortable seating.

I've stayed at many Holiday Inn Express in different states and Crestwood Illinois happens to be the worst. I made reservations for my daughters 10th birthday there due to it so happened to rain on her birthday and she wanted to go swimming. I checked into the room with a group of kids whose parents had dropped them off for the gathering. I was told that I would have to pay for an additional room due to the amount of children. Well after I paid for the additional room and the kids changed into ... Read more

First impressions say everything. Carpets in entrance way - dirty, lobby cluttered. Asked for Executive upgrade (like offered in Marion Il.) they couldn't accommodate bed requirement (2 doubles). Our room was old with worn wooden wardrobe (room 412), not the modern fresh look this chain usually has. Air conditioning didn't work very well. Had already unpacked when this was realized. Bearable warm on very small double bed with hubby. I know these hotels are individually owned, this owner needs t... Read more

The hotel overall was nice and smelled good. However, the carpet in the rooms felt very nasty on your bare feet. If they shampoo the carpet a few good times then I would give it five stars. They offered complimentary breakfast which was actually good, and the pool area was very nice and clean with fresh towels at your disposal. Hotel was located next to plenty of restaurants and entertainment. Definitely would return ?????

I can hit the hay any ole place and sleep fine through the night, and usually I am Mr Cheapie. So, last night as I was driving west on Interstate 90 towards Chicago, I asked myself, ??Mr Cheapie, how come you go out of your way to look for a Holiday Inn Express when Tom has left the light on for you for half the price at Motel 6??? So I thought about what it is I like about HII that pulls me in? ? You call the 800 number and they are truly helpful, as if they were in the back seat with you... Read more

Travel baseball trip. Hotel is okay, lots of forms to sign due it being a baseball team event. Really not sure the rate is worth the hotel and accommodations, expected more room. Stayed at a hotel in Cinncinnati, Ohio earlier in the month with a much larger room and rate was less

Staff was very helpful and the rooms were clean and quiet. Grandkids loved the pool and the rooms. Morning breakfast was great and had a good variety. Would definitely stay here again. Was close to a lot of shopping area and good restaurants.

I have stayed at several hotels in this area and many are very loud late at night due to events that they have at the hotel. This place is not like that. It is newer with modern rooms and breakfast included. The staff is friendly and attentive.

This was our 2nd time staying at this property and it was as good as the 1st. Just a nice property that is clean, comfortable and convenient for us. All the people from the time of check-in to the time of check-out were very pleasant and helpful. Yes, this is our go to place when we are going to be staying in the area to see family.

We stayed there for a week. The room was clean. The bed very comfortable. Plenty of towels. Did leave a message for maintance to replace a burnt out bulb in the bathroom and then had to call for them a few hours later. The eggs and biscuits at breakfast were horrible, but everything else was edible. Fresh fruit also!!!! We would stay there again. It's near everything. Shopping, restaurants, the train, entertainment.

This is an older hotel that has been updated. It is a short drive off of I294. There are many restaurants and stores of all kinds nearby. It is about 7 minutes from the Lighthouse Church of All Nations. Check in was fast and efficient. The staff is friendly and helpful. I slept well in the comfortable bed. There is a large breakfast area and many items are available. The fitness center had a couple of treadmills, a stationary bike machine, and a stair climber, but no free weights. High speed int... When I come to town I always stay here but this visit I had valuable items stolen out of my room, contacted Kevin(manager) and was told since the housekeeper said she didn't take it so they couldn't do anything about it. Called corporate and was basically told the same thing. Will never stay here again.

Stayed here on the recommendation of a funeral home. I will state that the front desk while maybe not the most professional in attire was outgoing helpful and friendly. I entered my room and there was tape on the walls from a party or streamers. Not just one piece but 5-6 and it looked like they had been there awhile. On the night stand was a half drank bottle of water. Obviously housekeeping is lacking and the supervisor does not inspect. Dirty and old.

We stayed here thinking it would be great. The room was fine the breakfast horrible. For the money you should get nice paper products in the room. No! the paper products were cheap and rough on your skin. For the high price you should get glass cups and soft paper products, toilet paper and tissue. I was disappointed and my pocketbook empty.
