We selected Hotel Felix only for its proximity to our daughter's apartment. It turned out to be a true find, a place we will stay often and will recommend to anyone staying in the Chicago area. The staff were first rate and very helpful, the room was small but ideal for us, and the location is great. We were there on a very cold (0F) weekend and the heating worked perfectly, no drafts for which we were very thankful...after being outside and quite chilled.

My son celebrated his 30th birthday the 6th of Jan. We went on a Barrell Run in the city. He did want my wife and to drive home. He booked this hotel for us. We normally stay at the Sheraton on the river. This hotel was great. Rooms were updated. Bathroom very nice and new. Very nice quaint lobby with a mini fountain. I had not heard of the Felix. Very Very affordable rate for that night. The staff was more than accommodating. A parking garage was right across the street--very convenie... Read more

A small-ish boutique hotel - stayed for business. Solid location with many local spots for food and drink within a few blocks. Complimentary wi-fi was a plus. Rate was decent but I have stayed in better for the same price. Chicago was busy during my stay - so room availability was limited at other locations.

We had a good weekend stay. The guys out front were friendly and very helpful. The ladies at the front desk were somewhat more indifferent, but professional. The entire place looked newly remodeled in a more modern style than older hotels in Chicago. Our room was very small, and in talking to several other couples we ran into in the hotel, they mentioned the same. Maybe because the reservation was through Priceline, where I've had the experience of getting the lesser desirable rooms in the h... Read more

it is pretty clean´╝? match the prise. Two things that i dont favour is the telephone has problem. I changed a room and still has problem. And the gym is so small´╝? equipment seems too simple. It s about 80 dollars to do the spa in 30minutes

We've stayed at Hotel Felix a few times now, and it's now consistently a hotel that we book when we're in the city. It is usually a good rate, and the rooms are always clean and inviting. The rooms are small (if there's a downside, this is it), but the staff is always attentive and pleasant. It's a short distance to anywhere downtown, and easy to get a cab anywhere else. We will be staying again in the future.

I stayed here with a group of 8 women for one night. We reserved 3 rooms. It was a little tight with 3 people in a room. It was expensive but there was a oncologists' convention in town and most of the hotels had expensive rooms for our first night in town (a Wednesday night). The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was very nice with a fancy shower. There is no breakfast included so we walked to the McDonald's down the street.

I really, really liked this hotel for a one night stay. It was clean and very welcoming when I arrived later on in the night. The elevators are locked during night time hours, so not just anybody can come on up (including the delivery guy when he brings your food! I had accidentally forgotten that when ordering!) The front desk staff was sweet and accommodating. They got me a toothbrush and toothpaste as I had to switch bags in a hurry on my way to Chicago and those items did not make it with me... Read more

We stayed one night on a certificate from a charity auction. After a small inconvenience in getting our room booked, we planned our day, Black Friday, for dining, theatre, and shopping. Everything is a short walk from this location. Plenty of options to choose from for all above. Not very busy despite the date we chose tasty. I would recommend this stay to others for a night out in the city. Rooms are not big, but beds very comfortable. We were near elevator and early morning activity in hallwa... Read more

I've lived in Chicago and travel back frequently. And this is my first stay at Hotel Felix. I loved it! Extremely clean, quiet rooms, great location, very reasonably priced... excellent friendly staff. There are a few reviews have chicago commented on the size of the rooms.. mine was fine. I've stayed at some of the five star hotels at $400 a night and frankly had much smaller rooms.. and these are famous chicago hotels. So forget those comments... My stay was perfect! I will say that t... Read more
