Staff was friendly. Room was filthy. In need of a good cleaning. Air conditioner unit was beat up. Knobs missing and dirty. Won't stay here again. Many of the electrical outlets didn't work. Location is nice. Close to restaurants and shopping.

I have been staying at this hotel for the past 4 years while my son was in College down at University of Illinois. I always requested the same room and always got it. Ela was very good about reminding me to make reservations early for the crowded weekends like Dads weekend , Graduation, Etc. She always remembered my name, and had extra pillows for me every time (one of my many requests!!) I am going to miss going down there now that he has graduated :(

The room was clean and roomy. The check in staff was very nice. The two restaurants across the street (TGIFriday's and Panera Bread) close at 10:00. This is not the fault of the Super 8 of course just info for anyone staying there. This was a Thursday night.

Continental breakfast needs help - weak coffee and running out of food and batter for waffle-maker. Only 2 pillows.

Check in smooth and quick. Desk clerk very courteous and friendly. Room nice and comfortable, clean and accommodating. Unfortunately, we got a room under some other parties you were up all night walking around which my wife good here. Finally got quite at 3:00 until 5:00 in the morning. Can't foresee those circumstances; just the luck of the draw.

Traveling through on our way home to Minnesota. Very nice room and Restaurants within walking distance. Staff people were very nice. Free breakfast was what we expected. No big deal. Easy access to freeway. SWEET!!

The motel manager was very helpful when asked for an extra bath towel to use inside the tub, to avoid slipping.

When we travel from one place to another, we are mainly concerned with finding a comfortable bed for the night without spending an enormous amount of money. Super 8 in Champaign offered us a clean comfortable experience without breaking the bank. And breakfast is included.

We were looking for a stopping point for the night and this was a good place. It was inexpensive and in a very nice location. Not too far off the highway and close to shopping centers and restaurants. We will stay here again for sure.

I stayed here for one evening while visiting U of I and it was a great experience. The room was very clean and nicely remodeled and the price was just right. I would stay here again. The owners are very courteous and polite as well.

Newer updates including new beds, linens, flooring and furnishings. Non-smoking wing is odorless as was the room I stayed in. I enjoyed my stay and will definitely stay here again when in the area. Breakfast was adequate (something for everyone) and staff was pleasant. The bathroom required a little cleaning attention which I reported to the front desk, but was not a deal breaker.

I work in Champaign but I live 20 miles away so 3 or 4 times a year I need a hotel there. I always use the budget-type hotels between $50-$70 but had never used this one because there are closer hotels to my job. Boy, was I cheating myself. This hotel is where I'll be staying from now on. It is a notch or two above all the other budget hotels in town. My single room was clean, digital air-conditioner worked great, refrigerator was ice cold, microwave included, modern 32 maybe 40in flat screen... Read more

Enjoyed our stay at the Super8 Champaign. The room was very nice. It was older, but well kept up. The bath could have used a bar to hold onto for older guests, but everything else was fine.

Great, new BED. (Need new sheets which are quite worn.) Very pleasantly surprised. New carpet in room. Recently painted. Everything worked: Iron, ironing board, hair dryer, WiFi, TV, shower, coffeemaker, fridge, etc. People smoked in my room before and every time the AC came on there was a smell. Not sure how they fix that--filter maybe? People were also smoking just outside the lobby. Breakfast was nice, but all carbs, so I had my annual waffle. Plenty of coffee--in room and in the simple but... Read more

Kind of a dump. I sensed there was drug activity, can't be sure. I was traveling with my dog, I can handle myself, I would not recommend to another family or female traveling alone. Very shady! People in cars seemingly waiting for others, activity in parking lot, people just kind of "hanging out ". I personally would not return. It is cheap, I guess I should have known.

Nice area, easy to get to but what a disappointment when we arrived. Lobby was dark, dirty and full of questionable people. Parking was a challenge and the room was adequate but not very nice. Older clerk at the desk was nice but everything else failed to impress (I'm a LONG TIME Super 8 fan!).

It was a very nice room. However, the lightswitch in the bathroom was damaged. It was very difficult to push/pull open the room's door. Closing it as difficult too. Might have been the humidity. But I'm not sure.

We have stayed at this motel twice this year in our travels. Its convenient to the freeway, but not too close. Good eating with Fridays within walking distance. The remodels have improved the rooms considerably, but one downer was the new toilet in the bathroom. It is very low, even more so than the standard height.

This hotel was clean and quiet. The owners are very kind and accomodating. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were soft. I would definitely stay there again. The only downfall is the breakfast. The dining room is really hot. The food was fine but I didn't really like using tubs of butter or a jar of peanut butter, I'd rather have single use packs in a hotel.

Great location with lots of shopping nearby. Convenient to both interstates. It definitely doesn't rate as one of the nicer Super8s but it is far from the worst. All in all, an OK place to spend the night.

While we appreciated that this was a pet friendly property, we were very disappointed with our room. The room was dirty with a layer of dust on the wall lamps, exposed wiring sticking out of the wall for those lamps, heavy mold on the edges and corners of the tub/shower surround. The platform beds were so high off the floor you need a footstool to comfortabl get on the bed, and the bedding was too small for the thick matresses causing the bottom sheet and matress pad to pop loose. I've stayed at this Super 8 many times as I frequently travel through this area of Illinois. This hotel has very friendly and helpful staff, it's pet friendly and the beds are comfortable. The price is also good. It's also conveniently located. I've never been disappointed with my stay here.

Check in was simple. Room was ok. The electrical outlet between the beds was broken, anything that was plugged in to it immediately fell out. The room was dated with old worn furniture with scuffs and dents. Bathroom tile looked moldy. I was told to checkout a day earlier then my reservation was for so needed to straighten that out. Make sure you have a copy of your reservation with you! For $53 a night and by myself it wasn't a big deal. I would not use for a family trip.

We would never stay there again! It simply did not feel clean - had a damp awful smell and the carpet had a lot of dirty spots on it. It almost smelled of urine. Not pleasant. I didn't want to kneel on it to pray so just prayed after I got in bed! Never had to do that before!!

We checked in on friday night. I had a queen room reserved got free upgrade to a King. Room smelled musty. Was a large room broken glass on floor by recliner. It was a handicap accessable room but not by my standards. Toilet very low to ground not a handicap toilet and close to wall had to be at an angle to use it.

The location and value are perfect for my business travel. Staff are friendly and courteous. Guest bathrooms have been updated and look great. The guest rooms are in desperate need of updating, especially the beds, bedding, and pillows. My last 2 stays I got almost no sleep. The A/C heat units are very loud and have to be unplugged to be turned off at least in the room I was in.
