Chose this because of location and price and am glad I did. Have stayed in a few other Drury Inns in KY & Louisiana and have found them to be very affordable with excellent service, albeit, sometimes a little worn but still clean and quiet. This location is in the middle of a plethora of fast food and good sit-down family restaurant within half a mile but the "Kickback" snacks and drinks precluded any need to leave for supper. By the time I finished the salad, soup, chili, hot dogs, chicken t... Read more

Great hotel.....Friendly staff. Nice break after a day in the car. Nice to enjoy evening snacks and beverages song with breakfast before hitting the road again. Wish the pool would have been slightly warmer however very early in the season.

Stayed in this very nice Inn on way home from Florida with our pet, Benz on the recommendation of another pet loving friend. Arrived early evening after 650 miles on the road, so we settled in for some much needed rest. Inn was located conveniently right off the Interstate and pet friendly by accepting with a fee, so we gladly stopped here. Front desk said our AAA rate was too high so adjusted it lower. Thanks! Food served in cafeteria area, but we arrived too late and left too early. People l... Read more

Check-in was easy & smooth. Attendant explained every amenity. Room was clean. Drury Inn & Suites had happy hour & food - everything was very nice. Hotel was easy to get to and there was shopping & restaurants nearby. We would stay here again!

The Drury Inn is the Best, from the clean rooms, comfy beds, to the front desk, Jen that worked the 11-7, night shift was awesome. The breakfast was VERY good, the whole staff was working their tails off, then the happy hour every night at 530-7, the food more then you can imagine, and again staff working their tails off. The location perfect, walk to many restaurants. We will be back.

You won't find a friendlier, more comfortable hotel in the area. Very clean and quiet rooms, great free breakfast in the morning. Convenient to shopping and the University. For the price, it's a bargain.

We love staying at the Drury Inns and this one lived up to the rest! We love that they provide a small buffet between 5:30-7pm nightly and a good breakfast each morning. They always change up the menu so if you stay more than one day the meals are different and you have variety. The staff was friendly and helpful and the rooms are very clean. The beds are so comfy-it is like sleeping on a cloud! We always try to fit in at least one visit to a Drury Inn while on vacation. I just wish they had the... Read more

My Dad, StepMom, and I checked in on Saturday afternoon before we drove to Paxton for my younger Navy Son's wedding. When we walked into what Dad said they called a "suite," it turned out that it was merely two rooms and a bathroom. I slept on that couch, or pull-out bed, and probably slept a total of 4 hours. It sloped and tilted so badly that I felt like I was sleeping at the bottom of a hill. I am a 50-year-old with a bad leg, but as I laid there I thought to myself, "I now have a daughter-... Read more

This place is desperately in need of updating. From the time you walk in it feels like you are in a cave. The lobby is so dark it's hard to see anything else. It's even worse with the dark flooring and dark furniture. Then you can go to your dark room. There's a small window and a real brick wall. Use what little light there is in the room to see the very dark flooring, bedding, walls and furniture. One word sums it up "DARK". Bring a flashlight. The toiletries are laughable. Not sure arts a wor... Read more

I wish I could give this hotel five stars because the rooms are clean & comfortable and the staff are customer-focused. They offer complimentary food between 5:30-7:00 pm in addition to breakfast. Also, I believe they offer up to an hour a night of free long distance phone service anywhere in the US. But, as a business traveler, I can't stay there any longer because their Internet service is weak. This is the third time I've had issues during three stays. Twice before, I talked to their Help Des... Read more

Let me begin by saying that I love Drury Inn hotels. They've never done me wrong and continue to impress me. As with all Drury's, there is the 5:30-7 dinner in addition to breakfast. If you miss dinner, there is always popcorn to snack on or several restaurants nearby. The wifi was a tad weak so that could be upgraded but otherwise this hotel is stellar. And to top it off, they're pet friendly! The room was very clean and the beds are amazingly comfortable. The linens are always spotless, as we... Read more

The facility and rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the swimming pool, but the best thing was breakfast. It was the best free breakfast we have ever had. The eggs were great. They also offer a dinner which is great for families. Plus, they allow pets and everyone's dogs were all well behaved and you never heard any barking. Loved this stay!

Stayed here with my cross country bike group. Hotel was clean and staff was helpful. The happy hour from 530-700pm is over the top. Included unexpected foods like macaroni and cheese, baked potato, salad, and hotdogs (if you eat them). My only grip was that the Internet was so slow I couldn't watch and video like TdF.

Stopped here on road trip. We always choose Drury if available. Well built. Always quiet. Did not do breakfast. So cannot comment. Hotel is looking a little dated, but our room was clean. Internet was slow, but I stopped to sleep. Will stay here in the future. Many restaurants close by.

This hotel is the standard by which all hotels should be judged. The front desk personnel were pleasant and efficient. The rooms are clean, modern and spacious. The fixtures in the bathroom were all clean and working as they should. The shower had great pressure and had a grab bar for safety. The evening spread in the dining area was hot and quite good, along with the free beverages. The breakfast had a good variety and was constantly attended to. We were on our way home from a family reunion and decided not to drive all night. Looked online and they had rooms available. I was able to reserve our room online. It was very clean, the bed was extremely comfortable. No complaints about our stay here. Breakfast the next morning was very good. At first I was worried because our room was directly across from the vending machines but once the door was shut we could not hear anything from the hallway.

We booked two rooms with double queen beds, but when we arrived we were given rooms with single king beds. The staff quickly took care of this and got us into the right rooms. One (very small) disappointment when we checked in was that there was no popcorn in the lobby. We got there too late and missed the happy hour, but there were lots of restaurants nearby. After a 14 hour drive it was time to stop for the evening. Checked in quickly and the assistant manager Angela Wade was both helpful and friendly. We checked in too late to enjoy the complimentary happy hour, but they did have free pop and popcorn until 10pm. The room was clean and quiet. I liked the shampoo and body wash dispensers in the shower. This location never disappoints. Always a relief to know we can stay here worry free whenever we pass through.

My wife and I visited Champaign during new student week. As you might expect, rooms are hard to come by. We ended up at the Drury last year and returned this year. Both stays were excellent. The rooms may seem a bit pricey but when you consider the full, cooked breakfast and the evening manager's buffet, including drinks, the rooms drop in price some $40 per day. It is also walking distance to several mid-range restaurants.

Angela the front desk attendant was amazing! Very warm, kind, inviting, personable! She's in my top 5% of best hotel staff I've engaged with at any hotel throughout various states! Bartender during the Kickback was very personable too. Friendly staff, clean room and solid service I expect to receive from a Drury property.

Staff couldn't be nicer. Room a little stale and carpet worn. Clean other than something on brick wall a little questionable. But okay. Free drinks, dinner buffet (Mac n cheese, hot dogs, salad N baked tatos) and breakfast = good value. Kids loved the indoor/outdoor pool.

Perfect stay and location for visiting friends in Champaign. I was initially concerned when I found other hotels booked and it was not a football weekend. For such a beautiful place, I'm surprise it was available. LOVED the after 10:00pm quiet policy I needed to sign, especially since there was a kids sports team competition in town. Very quiet, wonderful night's sleep, clean, beautiful western view from the top floor. I will be looking for Drury Hotels now whenever I travel. A sanctuary!

I was just preparing to transfer data to my new phone and came upon a reminder note about our stay at the Drury in August. The Drury has been our go-to place the 4 years our daughter was at U of I. It is a lovely hotel with first rate breakfast and social hour, but this is about the service. We stayed there at the end of a 3 week vacation because my daughter had an important job interview. First off, Drury is our favorite hotel chain. We vacation more than the average person, so we are quite picky about our accommodations. This was our first stay at this particular Drury, and although it wasn't the best one we have ever encountered it was still more than adequate. The room was clean, the gentleman at the front desk (Abdi) was very polite, and the kickback food was fantastic. All in all, it was a great it always is with Drury!

The only complaint I have about this hotel is that they allow dogs in rooms. We were on the 4th floor and around 6:30 a dog down the hall started to bark. I'm really tired of paying good money for a nice hotel and finding out that I have to put up with a barking dog. We stay at Drury inns most of the time so I suggest they reconsider the dog policy.

Traveling with my daughter-in-law and three small grandsons. We got in late and by the time we had the boys out of the car they had put a pack'n'play in our room. So nice! The room was quiet. Breakfast had a lot of hot food- scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, waffles plus cereals, fruit and pastries. Very clean and friendly.
