From the beginning of the planning process through the end of our event, the service we received was always pleasant and with a smile. Erin, from the event management team, Wilson and Ascher from banquets, Frank the bellman, Jesus at the front desk, the staff and food at Shiraz, George and Danielle from Izzy's....what a great team! This team will ensure your event is a success! Thank you all for all you did to help our event be great!

Always loved working quietly in the corner with my own libation. Never bothered anyone nor have I ever seen an issue. Always nice and quiet no reason to have changed this policy.

The Resort was absolutely wonderful. Very well maintained and clean, with a friendly staff. One of the staff, named Greg, helped me in an embarrassing situation where a friend of mine had a little too much to drink and ended up in his boxers in the front lobby. Greg was very reasonable and understanding and even helped me get a new copy of my friend's room key so I could get him back to his room. Thanks Greg!

This resort is beautiful from the outside, however the rooms need major repair. 2 of the 4 rooms I booked had no AC and when they tried to repair it, it cause a leak from the ceiling. Therefore every time you entered or left the room you got wet. I also had a theft from my room. The front desk wasn't too interested in trying to resolve it. Didn't offer any service recovery.

There was a time when this place was a gem to visit. That was then. Now this property is in desperate need for a major renovation. A/C unit in our room did all it could to cool down the room. The property is clean but the fact of a well over due rehab tarnishes the hard work of the employees to keep up with the maintenance issues.

Not recommended not what you expect from Hilton property. Too many better choices to use. Will never go back. Musty damp had dehumidifiers running everywhere smelled. Carpet all need replaced. Business center in basement and like a sauna in it probably 90 degrees very uncomfortable experience. Only positive was food good in restaurant..

Stayed here for 4 nights last week while attending a conference, and had a great time! There was a little confusion upon check-in - When I got to my room there was already another guest inside unpacking her things. All was resolved quickly though, so no biggie on my end :) The staff was extremely helpful and informative, and we enjoyed our time there :) Absolutely LOVED the architecture of the hotel... I really loved how different this hotel was from a standard hotel. The offering of mini golf and both indoor/outdoor pool along with 3 bars makes you never have to leave if you don't want to. However, the hotel is very dated and the carpet smelled probably due to age. If the hotel was updated I'd give it 5 stars. In current condition it is nice but not the Hilton standard I expected.

It was a great room for a competitive price. the room was clean, comfortable and had had a beautiful view of the golf course. The pool and hot tub are better than most hotels in the area. I will stay here again.

Great treat. Property is just beautiful. This property is surrounded by well-manicured lawns excellent flower beds and beautiful ponds. The hotel offers a number of bars and restaurants and massage Spa. Swimming pools miniature golf and a full 18 hole course are the amenities offered by the hotel. Staff is nice and inviting always with a smile. Hotel shows a little age. Rooms are a nice size. All in all a great experience.

We had a fantastic stay, they were able to accommodate us with adjoining rooms, the night auditor also opened the store up for us to grab a couple things we had forgotten at around midnight. The rooms are ENORMOUS, which was really nice. It is a little odd that the door adjoining the rooms is in the bathroom, we ended up going through the hall back and forth during shower times and what not. My only real complaint is our room was above the dining area, at this property all of the rooms have wind... Read more

Had a wonderful relaxed time with my husband! The hotel staff was friendly the room was immaculate and the best part was that you could not hear the sounds of doors closing or any sounds coming from other rooms. I don't know if it was the insulation of the room or the octagon shape but it was great. Hotel was beautiful lots of places to relax and have a good time like the bar, center atrium, game room, pools, hot tub and mini golf. I didn't visit the restaurants or the spa but maybe next time. I booked this resort thru Priceline so I had no idea what I was getting until I made the offer. My first thoughts was oh no after reading some of the review's. To my surprise this was a really nice resort not your cookie cutter hotel. Was it a 3.5 star hotel I'm a little on the fence about this. It did need some updating like fresh paint but the room was nice and clean. We went to the speak easy bar because the cave bar closes up pretty early. Stayed for one night on a business trip. The hotel´s interior lobby is quite old and looks used. Anyway - rooms are big, beds are comfortable and the overall impression is good. Try the cave bar - cosy and lots of people at night. The architecture of the hotel is interesting: with garden and waterfalls inside. Rates are reasonable for Chicago area.

We were a bit reluctant to make reservations at this hotel based on some of the reviews, but we were pleasantly surprised. This is a gorgeous and unique resort hotel with beautiful architecture throughout. Though it's an older hotel, Hilton has done a fantastic job giving it a facelift. The room was beautifully decorated and was looking out over the stunning 5 story atrium. Only a few minor attention-to-detail issues which are not worth mentioning here. Hotel was outdated and need renovation. Staff was nice. Would have love to use the pool, but didn't have time. My wife and I were there for a short, one niter getaway. The best thing about place was the food in the restaurant. The waitress was average. The main entrée took a long time to make it to our table, but the food was great. Other than there not being a shower curtain in the bathroom our stay was okay. I used cash and points to pay for my room ,and it was worth it.

I don't understand the need for 3 separate parking lots?? You have to walk a bit to get up to the hotel if you're not lucky enough to park on the side.
