I travel almost every week for work, and usually stay in Hamptons. This one is having its rooms renovated and was very nice. It felt like a more upscale hotel. There are a couple of restaurants nearby and plenty of parking.

Room was clean & average in size. Did find areas of concern. We couldn't turn the lights off in the bedroom without getting out of bed. Poor lighting in the bathroom and NO fan in the tube, stool area. The bed is very high and hard to get in, wife is kind of short, which makes it hard to get in. Maid was knocking on door at 9:15am checking to see if we were gone yet. Most obvious problem was no phone or paper at the desk. Check in via e-mail was easy the day before even picked our room. Easy checkin with pleasant staff. Pleasantly surprised with room size and cleanliness. Bedspread was newly laundered and bed was very comfortable with lots of pillows. Complimentary breakfast had the largest selection of choices we've ever experienced and everything was right temperature and tasted good!

The staff was mostly rude, the room smelled musty and the breakfast was low quality. When I checked in as a Hilton Honors member, I had asked for my waters and I was told I am 'only a BLUE' so I could pay for my water ($2 per bottle). I listened to the staff complain about each other behind the desk. The food at the free breakfast wasn't high quality at all. Even my son didn't find anything to be fresh or good.

We had a reservation for 2 nights. Upon returning to our room the 2nd night (at about 9:30 PM) our room had not been made up. We had previously stopped in the room at 1:15 PM and, with the room not made up, advised the front desk that we would be leaving our room at 2:15 PM. When we left at 2:15 PM we specifically told the person at the desk that we were leaving. The next morning I spoke with the manager and explained the situation. Came in one night with my family. The check in process was quick and we came in an hour before standard check in time, and they got us in right away. The room itself was awesome and spacious for a family of 4. Then, I went to take a shower after the water park. I found a dead bug in the shower. I let it flush down the drain, but honestly, that was kind of gross to see in the bathroom. We stayed here because we were visiting Raging Waves. However, I'm pretty disappointed by the property. The pool area in this hotel is great for kids. They require arm bands for the weekend to swim, however they do not check them. Several people in the pool area did not have them on. The check in staff was rude when it came to the arm bands. I had to come down each night to get the day's, rather than giving them to me all at once. The room was clean & comfortable. The breakfast was decent. Several options.

We stayed here this past weekend while i had business in the area. The check in process was great and lobby area nice. The first floor room we had smelled of old furniture and sweat. I believe this was not due to the cleaning method but the fact that the facility is getting old. We asked to be moved and we were put on the second floor and the room did not smell as bad. Breakfast was as expected from Hampton.

We also made use of extremely large gathering area in hotel. 14 of us ordered food in and had tons of room to traipse our coolers around. Our room was clean and comfy but we had horrible wifi - couldn't reach it in our room...maybe cause it was next to pool and we have brick wall behind us and next to our room?? The pool area was great - whole family enjoyed it. We were given a room for people with disabilities for some reason and the shower was constantly spreading water into the rest of bathroom floor - they need to make the shower area slightly graded so it drains better!

The hotel was newer, clean, and in a good area. The room was very clean but they had some kind of funky smell in them. We checked in late, went to our room, walked in and right back out. Provided level of hospitality as one would expect. It would be nice if the cost was at the gov't per diem rate. Lots of towels and water at the work out area. Two pools one for kids only is nice.
