The staff were all polite and it was nice to have a decent coffee maker in the room. There was kind of a weird smell in my bathroom, but I just didn't spend a lot of time in there. I had a room with a deck on the view side which was delightful way to unwind after a long day of work. The Safeway is a short walk away for refreshments!

We were in Lewiston for a family wedding and several rooms were blocked for the occasion. Decent discounted price! We spent 2 nights and were very comfortable. The desk staff was friendly but our room was not ready at the 3:00 check in time - we arrived at 3:30 and had to wait a half hour longer. Not off to a good start- we had to get dressed and ready for the dress rehearsal in under an hour. However, after that everything was fine. Lemon ice water in the lobby, cookies in the evening, and the ... Read more

Clean rooms, quiet. Pool area is pretty with a wall of glass. The breakfast was good, food was nice and hot and there was a pancake maker. The real gem at this hotel was the woman at the front desk. I wish I could remember her name but she was very accommodating when we realized the 3rd party we used had booked us at the wrong hotel. She gave great advice about restaurants and attractions and was very sweet to our kiddos.

I stayed due to a death in the family, at the Holiday Inn Express there was a death of hospitality. Extra hangers were forgotten as was the newspaper. On the third morning it was not amusing watching my husband dry off with a hand towel due to no bath towels being left in the room. Never again will I pay $190/night for plastic cups.

I was surprised how nice this HIE was. Yes, the wallpaper in the hallways is dated and needs replaced. But the hotel was very clean--room, lobby and breakfast area. My room was on the side of the hotel with a lovely view of the mountains and river. It was on the first floor and had a back door that opened onto a green space. It was refreshing to leave the door open while I worked for a great breeze. This hotel was three things I love: dog fiend my (though I didn't have my dogs with me), quiet a... Read more

The rooms were clean and well appointed, the beds were comfortable. The hotel is quiet but we were in the very middle of the hallway and I always wear earplugs. Our room had a nice view of the valley but nothing extraordinary. The free breakfast was 'meh' the instant eggs and greasy bacon were not appealing. But they did have instant oatmeal (can go wrong and the flavor is always the same). Fresh fruit and yogurt saved the day. The reason for the lower rating is due to the breaksfast

Decent room , good internet , but .. 30 channels on TV? 10.00 "Extra Person Charge"?? Breakfast ready at 6:00 Am NOT! The extra person charge WAS on my reservation , just didn't notice it .. My wife and I almost always travel together , and this is the first time I've ever been charged extra for 2 people in a room! Dismal TV , about 30 channels , most of which I don't watch! And , breakfast was supposed to be ready at 6 AM , but , no gravy for the biscuits , was ready at about 6:15 , no pancakes... Read more

Being from the valley, all things being considered, the hostel is comfortable and clean, with a few amenities. Compared to other cities within a 100 mile radius, it's average and lacking. Pricing is high for the valley and few extras are provided. Price-point is lower than most, but that's not saying much considering the overpriced options in the valley.

The hotel was located on the side of a hill overlooking mountains and the surrounding communities. The staff was very accommodating to my colleagues and self. We were close to our place of work, resturants, shopping malls, post office etc. My colleagues and I enjoyed dinner next door at a steak house and enjoyed the view from our table as we ate outdoors on the patio. We took plenty pictures. I was impress with the community and what had to offer visitors.

To start with, we got a room with two queen beds. On a Saturday night for $189. A little more expensive than I usually like to pay. It's one thing for a special place or room with a gorgeous view, but this price was one of the very last rooms in town for a 2.5 star hotel. No frills. The lady who checked me in was VERY nice! Short, dark brown hair, a little older than my mom. She was great at welcoming us to our room. We were tired and were happy to get to our room. The beds were older feeling wi... Read more

Arriving in the Lewiston/Clarkston area late in the afternoon (on a Tuesday in summer ) we were surprised to find no rooms anyplace we wanted to stay. Finally called the Holiday Inn ... yes they had one King bed room that had just been cancelled and it would be $174! Yikes. The room was on the lower floor (you enter on the upper floor) and was clean and adequate. The possibility to sit outdoors and look at the view would be a plus for a longer stay. Breakfast was fair - the coffee was dreadful. ... Read more

This hotel is located on a hill overlooking the entire town. It offers impressive views of the surrounding river valley and mountains, though you may pay more for the north side rooms providing this view. There is a shopping mall and a few restaurants within walking distance with the neighborhood seeming clean, modern, and safe. Being in a spread out commercial area, the hotel offers plenty of free parking space. Although the hotel may be high priced and not particularly plush or fancy, I fo... Read more

Nice room with a view! Very comfortable and clean room. We travel with a pet and the second door to the grassy area is a huge plus. Location is easy to access. We will be staying here again in a couple of weeks.

The hotel is located in a safe area convenient to restaurants and shopping. The front desk staff was very pleasant, helpful and provided a quick check in. I found no problems in or with the room. I would definitely stay here on a return visit.

We spent one night here when passing through Lewiston. The pluses: laundry, friendly and helpful front desk staff, good breakfast with varied options, outdoor breakfast tables with great view, clean and comfortable. The minuses: The non-view rooms seem to be all on a lower level, and they're dark and small.

The hotel was very nice. We got a room with a view (more expensive than the parking lot rooms but worth it.) Clean and good value as we expect from the IHG group. At first we had trouble finding it, but the GPS got us there.

The hotel is perched on a hill on the south side of town, with great views of the Clearwater River and the bluffs on the opposite side. You can pay extra for a room with a view or just enjoy the view from the breakfast room balcony and pool. The hotel is relatively new, the beds are good, the wifi connection is fast, and the breakfast area (where afternoon coffee and tea are also available) is light and lovely. I enjoyed having a sofa in our king bed room, plus a very serviceable desk. The only ... Read more

Though I was surprised at the price, this hotel offered a lovely view of the Lewis-Clark Valley and the hills. This is my hometown, so coming for a visit and seeing this view each day was a real treat. The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. The breakfasts decent and the citrus infused ice water available throughout the day a nice touch.

This place was $200 a night and for that we got a room that was dirty and smelled. The hotel was also a bit noisy. The place just had that old motel odor about it. Our room carpet was dirty and the room about as plain as they come. Overpriced at best. Suggest you stay elsewhere. While non smoking our neighbor was smoking on the balcony and we had to close our window. Loud air conditioner noise!!!

We were in the lower level, on the side with NO view. The room was average, decent size, nice bathroom. Breakfast was good, but not great. They had cookies out in the evening, but nothing warm and homemade. The halls were in need of updating, along with the elevator. They have adequate parking, but you are going to walk a distance to get in and to your room. They were dog friendly.

I do love the location of this hotel - hard to explain but if you end up with a room on the view side you'll understand. They were undergoing some remodeling or replacing carpeting while I was there ... but they seemed to knock off by 4pm and didn't hear them again until 9am so by no means was it an issue for me ... plus I see it as a good sign whenever a business is updating and keeping things fresh before there's obvious signs that those improvements are needed ... knowing they're working to ... Stayed here on business, and had a pleasant stay. The front desk staff were very friendly and gave suggestions on where to eat in the area. The room was spacious, clean and the mattress was comfortable. Very quiet room, no road noise. Great continental breakfast. Will be returning for my next stay when I'm in the area.
