Nice location on River and path along river. Rooms on River side have nice views. Close enough to walk to a number of restaurants and across the river to the downtown area. Clean and quiet. Front desk staff were particularly helpful Ina couple of questions. An excellent choice in Idaho Falls.

The pool area was abhorrent, but otherwise the stay was good. Friendly staff and mostly clean room (carpet needed to be really vacuumed). Seriously though, the pool was so dirty we couldn't see the bottom. At first I thought it was a salt water pool, turns out the smell of "salt" was just Body Odor.

Great stay and location as always. Definitely one of my favorite hotels when I am in eastern Idaho. If you are going to stay in IF, you should definitely stay by the river. Besides the garden inn amenities, there are good restaurants nearby.

We had an excellent experience at this hotel located right on the waterfront of the Greenbelt. It is nearby plenty of good restaurants. The lobby and grounds are beautiful, I mean gorgeous, and well kept. I heard that they host weddings there, and I could see why. The back veranda was especially pleasant. We loved the quiet location, off the main road with a perfect view of the LDS temple. We took the kids for a walk along the waterfront to the Japanese Garden. The room was perfectly clean,... This hotel was very inviting. The staff was very welcoming as we had just had a bad experience with another hotel. We were able to fully relax and enjoy our stay. This hotel was a delightful surprise, with lovely grounds and views over the river. Make sure to get a room with a balcony so you can watch the sunset. The food in the restaurant is good, although a little pricey. The only downside to our entire stay was the wait staff during breakfast. However, out Hilton Honors membership resulted in a fabulous upgrade to a king executive suite which was an welcome surprise and an excellent room.

In our experience, this is a perfectly ok hotel but not a standout. It is situated in an area with 5 or more other hotels and a number of restaurants, seemingly for tourists as it's set away in an otherwise kind of blah/large commercial area (Walmart, Harley-Davidson, etc.) The room was comfortable, the lobby pleasant, and the staff were reasonably friendly - nothing to complain about, but nothing to make me enthusiastic either. Since I have multiple allergies I was warned that I couldn't eat the sausage or potatoes but they made me some gluten-free pancakes with strawberries on top and maple syrup. In addition, I had bacon and ham. I too... Read more

Very good breakfast included in the price. Rooms are very large and clean, beds are soft maybe a little to soft for my comfort. I think the beds in my room need to be replaced. My room looked out over the river. It was very quiet.

The hotel was easy to locate, easy access, right on the falls, with a beautiful walkway. There is a real breakfast for an inexpensive price and you could either do the hot breakfast, or a continental buffet for even less. Very nice atmosphere.

My wife and I stayed here for two nights in September while we explored the town. And what a great choice we made! Our room overlooked the Snake River, and right across the river was the Idaho Mormon Temple, beautifully set in a serene environment. The room was spotless and had all the amenities you would want. From the front desk clerks, to the maid staff, to the breakfast ladies, all were attentive and friendly. Being a Hilton Gold member, a cooked to order breakfast was included in the pr... Read more

Great and friendly service made up for rooms that need a bit of doing up, especially carpets are about to be outdated. In general, a very nice place to stay. Breakfast took long, a lot of people waiting for ready to order omeletes. But nice experience otherwise.

This is one of the best Hilton Garden Inn we have stayed. There was no any complications when checked in and the room was comfortable and clean. The decoration was unique too. The staff took a great care of the complimentary coffee, tea, drinks, and snacks in the lobby.

Never saw the sun. Arrived at 11pm, checked out at 7am. Missed our upgraded room view of the river completed. Was chosen as Hilton Honor member of the day. Free upgrade, free water, free appitizer at restaurant. We arrived just in time to eat. Last 2 in restaurant, slow, but they were nice and accomodating. Great location, clean, overall Hampton Garden Inns have been consistantly good after over 5,000 miles on the road...!

Stayed here on our way to Yellowstone. The location is good, but our room wasn't facing the river. Clean hotel with free spa water and hot drinks in lobby. The staff is friendly with smiles. They remembered my free waters bottles. The room is nice though a little tight, standard bath with tub/shower combo. We found the bed comfortable. My only con was the extra for breakfast, which we opted out of since we found a local donut shop.

Everyone on staff were friendly. Good value and selection for breakfast. Located close to several dining locations. Rooms were well maintained. Ask for river view room. Had an outside patio that would be good gathering area in the summer.

Stayed in a suite on the 3rd floor. Beautiful view of the river and the LDS Temple. Breakfast was awesome! Terrific service, great food! Regular--not premium--internet was fine for some work I had to do so I was pleased. We did not stream any video so I do not know how well it would have worked for that. The room furnishings have seen better days and are a bit beat up. I'm not a big fan of Hilton beds in general and this was no exception. Not bad but not great. Had one problem with the sink in t... Not bad.... I had the Kentucky bourbon wings which had a pretty good flavor plus the rice and chicken soup which came out piping hot ( had to let it sit for a second ) but hot soup is much better than cold

We were not impressed with the room over looking noisy exhaust fans, and had to request a room change. We are senior and received no assistance from staff with the room move. Also the bed was made improperly and the pillow covers were very wrinkled.

Our stay in this hotel was perfect. It was easy to find, well-staffed, lovely décor with a beautiful river view from our room. (The price was a bit higher than most of our hotels on this trip, but appropriate, given that we requested a room with a view.) The room was clean and comfortable with excellent a/c, as well as a fridge, microwave and tea service. There were also drinks and cookies offered in the lobby. We had a very enjoyable walk along the river when we went looking for a restaur... Read more

Excellent hotel. The event person here is fantastic! All the staff was friendly. It is upscale actually- very inviting. The lobby has cookies and fruit flavored water for the guests. I will definately go back. It sits on the river and there is a beautiful Mormon temple on the other side of the river.

Very nice staff, excellent accommodations and a terrific river view. Good restaurant and bar service. Convenient location (interstate and downtown access). Walking distance to restaurants, breweries and parks along the Snake River. Only complaint...I wish pets were allowed at least in some rooms.

Aside from long waits at the single front desk associate, the property is well kept and charming. 30 minutes to ask a question is a bit ridiculous, when waiting at the front desk. 20 minutes waiting at check-in

Internet was too slow to be useful, and when I reported this to the front desk clerk, she told me that it was because the hotel was 'pretty full" and then she went into the back offices without offering any apology or compensation. TERRIBLE!

We used this hotel as our base for visiting was a bit of a drive to get to the park, but we did it two days in a row and it wasn't bad. The rooms and breakfast were typical of a Garden Inn and the family was happy with the setup. There are a couple of restaurants within a five minute walk from the hotel, and many more with a short drive. As an HH Diamond, did not receive any type of upgrade, but will likely stay here again the next time we visit Yellowstone.

We stay here when ever our travels include SE Idaho and we have enjoyed our stays. It is close to the Idaho Fall's actual falls that are very pretty. Enjoyable place to spend time while visiting family in the are. My hubby loves the cookies too and they are good. Staff speaks English and we were not bombarded with other languages that we are at times. It was refreshing.

My second stay here. Too late I remembered all the reasons I was going to stay at the next-door Hampton. On both stays: As a diamond I did not rate a river view, the buffet has no hot options, so your only choice in the morning is to order and wait for your entree. Although tasty, I needed to get on the road, and the wait does not figure into my plans.Lastly again BOTH times my points did not post and necessitated a call to the Honors desk. These may seem trivial, but six strikes and you are out... Read more

The hot tub was broken and filthy, someone vacuumed outside our room at 3am, and the sheets and pillows were so low quality that it sounded like thunder when I moved. The walls are thin, so I heard the neighbors' tv. Motel 6 is about the same, but way cheaper.
