Overall The Grove is a wonderful place to stay. It has all the qualities needed to have a wonderful stay. The location is perfect because it's in the middle of downtown Boise. They have a beautiful terrace, just enjoyed my trip. The best part is the friendliness of the staff especially The Valet named Edgar ū???

This hotel will deliver a great experience for you every time! Families, vacationers or business travelers - they aim to accommodate. The pool and work out room are great - don't pass up a spa treatment either. The restaurant is a bit expensive but worth it! It's location downtown is perfect for a stroll to the capital building, many excellant restaurants and music venues.

We ordered using our reward points and still came out with a great room. Overall the experience was really good! The staff was beyond a+. Pros: very spacious room, plenty of areas to put things, entire staff was friendly and attentive, good view (most rooms are on the higher levels so you can't go wrong), easy to walk to the plentiful amount of places nearby (our reason for staying there), the bar downstairs is well priced and they let you bring drinks to your room which is very convenient! I was met by friendly and helpful Valet to the Front Desk staff that was consistently exceptional from the first moment to the last minute on the property. The rooms were super quiet even thought it's located near the city center. Luckily my room rate was at maximum of government per diem. The regular cost might be too high to return from pleasure.

Stayed two nights for a "business" trip. It was very clean, comfortable. The receptionists, bel hops, valets were all happy and accomodating. The rooms were quiet and comfortable. The views from the 12th floor were fabulous and the gym was fantastic. The rooms were spacious. Piano bar downstairs. Bathrooms were updated and clean. The whole place was seemingly new.

My wife and I had an awesome opportunity to stay at this hotel for our one year anniversary, it was amazing! What a fun weekend, this hotel is within walking distance of our favorite restaurants and the movies. From our room we could see right up the street to the train station, what a view! The pool room is beautiful, and the guy at the front desk was awesome! He showed us around the gym and was super fun to chat with! Can wait for another excuse to stay here for a long weekend!

The Grove is a recently renovated hotel in downtown Boise. Great location, great staff, all you would expect from a first-rate hotel. It also has an arena under the hotel. While we were staying, they hosted some bare-knuckles or ultimate fighting matches that brought the young, hard-partying, hard-drinking younger crowd you would expect. Our friends had to call the desk twice because of noise at 2:30 AM. The hotel handled the situation by moving our friends to a suite the second night, but ... Read more

The great experience started with the free shuttle ride from the airport--the shuttle driver was fantastic and set the tone with the initial impression. It is great to find a World Class hotel in such a small city. The hotel is a gorgeous property right on Downtown, within walking distance from the State's Capitol as well as other state and city offices. Great dining and entertaining around the property, also within walking distance. Super trendy decor in rooms, great amenities, I didn't eat in the restaurant though, but it seems to be a hot spot in town.

This hotel is strategically located downtown and close to lots of fun. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The gym is legit as is the sauna and pool area. The valet in the morning was slow and we waited at least 15 minutes for our car. Ultimately we would stay here again shall the occasion arise.

We love this hotel. Friendly staff, nice updated rooms, gym, restaurant and perfect location for Downtown Boise and the surrounding area. We have stayed here several times for weddings we have had downtown. We love the breakfast in the hotel-delicious. The valet parking was full while we were there but they directed us to the parking below hotel and once we figured that out it was fine. The rooms are a good size and look nice. They have a desk area and all the regular hotel stuff.

I arrived in Boise with reservations at another hotel, changed plans after viewing room at original hotel. Beyond pleased from the moment I walked in the front door! Beautiful property, extremely friendly staff, excellent food, and service. Every person I came in contact with went above and beyond, making sure my needs were met . The room was great. 4th floor suite with access right out the door to large patio with a view. Great pool, gym, with plenty of room for everyone. Going back to Boise in... Read more

From the bell hops and valet to the manager or owner of the hotel, everyone provided top notch service. The hotel is nice, the rooms were clean, though ours was small - food and convention services were good! The owner or manager just happened to be coming out of the rink as I was waiting for valet and he got it for me. I own my own business and am willing to jump in on any level too, so I loved this level of service!

Being an older woman, it is always great when the younger generation of staff treats me the same way they do their own generation - with their fun personalities and easy antics. I absolutely love the staff at the Grove.... and it surprises me, constantly, how they really DO go out of their way to make sure I am content. The piano player, Frank(?), is also amazing. Can't beat martinis at the bar with piano in the background! The rooms? A great firm bed is a must at any age! No "bowlies" in those... Read more

The Grove Hotel service staff was friendly and the location was perfect for exploring downtown. The room was clean and the view of downtown was great! Parking was conveniently located in the garage beside the hotel. The price was excellent for the value. My husband and I would definitely stay there again.

We were there for a convention and it was really nice to be at the Grove as the convention center was close. Rooms were nice. The bed was very comfortable. Sorry that our hospitality rooms were not held on the veranda as they were before.

Hotel is centrally-located, it is easy to walk to restaurants in the area, and there is a Trader Joe's across the street. The room was very comfortable and exactly as I expected. Be sure to grab breakfast downstairs; the hotel's breakfast menu is wonderful but watch out for large portions.

We loved our short but sweet stay at the Grove Hotel. I am kind of a germophobe but felt really comfortable staying here--and the bed was the most comfortable one I've slept in yet. Both my husband and I have back problems and sleeping on this bed was great! The linens felt wonderful and quality. The decor is clean and modern and fun--and I don't have anything bad to say about our stay, except that I wish it was more affordable so we could stay here more often.

We looked to get reviews about The Grove before we booked and we were impressed. It all changed starting with the parking. It was a nightmare. No where to park unless you paid extra for the valet. My grandson and I got into a nonfunctioning spa. No sign. I had just a horrible infection because of excessive chemicals and a doctor's visit when I got home. When I called it was "oh well". No offer of a refund, discount, no offer to make it right. We won't be returning.

This was part of a trip from Chicago through the West heading eventually to the Pacific Coast Highway for the journey south to San Francisco and breaking the journey for a couple of days as we headed to visit old friends in McCall. We also took the opportunity of attending the open air Shakespeare Festival (which was excellent). Our booking was handled very efficiently, the hotel seemed accustomed to clients arriving late at night on delayed flights from Chicago and the shuttle bus was great as... Read more

I was in Boise for business for several nights. The Grove has a good location downtown, with lots of restaurants, shopping and things to do within a short walk. Most of the staff was courteous, friendly and professional. The bed was very comfortable. However, mediocre design rules. I found the bathroom uncomfortable, with bad lighting. Whoever thinks a towel rack hanging in front of the sink is a good idea should rethink things. The in-room coffee maker had no place to go and was ... Read more

The hotel is in a prominent location but it not well marked so it is easy to miss it when driving. We went round the block twice before parking the car to find the hotel on foot. The hotel has only a very small sign and roadworks meant that it was difficult to find the entrance. We had a very nice, spacious room but the bright green door and chair are an acquired taste. Breakfast in Emilio‚??s was excellent and the service was very good.

It was great besides the fact that a portion of the romance package was forgotten. When I called to ask about where it was I received a breakfast voucher, which was nice but still took something away.

I enjoyed this stay very much. All staff were professional and prompt in their service. A staff member by the name of Corliss at the front door provided amazing service. It was nice to have knowledgeable staff about the surrounding downtown area. They can go into detail about what is going on in town, activities to attend, and great places to hang out.

I originally booked the Rodway Inn in Boise...what a mistake. So I transferred over to the Grove and was so friggin' happy. Nice, clean, new rooms with comfortable beds, room service until 11pm, friendly and helpful staff, and nice city views. It also has a full gym that you can use for free and an ice rink inside of it (I know, strange but cool). Valet for your car is $18, and self $12. It's located right in downtown, so walking to downtown restaurants and night life is a cinch. I did;t eat at ... Read more

This was our 3rd visit to The Grove and we loved it. Our past stays were not so great so this was our last chance stay and they passed. The young man working behind the desk named Michael was very attentive and friendly. He was there the past 2 visits and is very helpful. He is a keeper at the desk! Corliss the valet was very prompt when we needed our car and very friendly. John and his staff went above and beyond this stay for us. We will be back.

We have stayed at the Grove multiple times and it is always a quality experience. Top notch staff, and the rooms are very nice, modern, comfortable. Delightful doormen and front desk people. I prefer a slightly larger bathroom as well as a few thinner blankets rather than just one heavy one. But we ALWAYS stay at the Grove when in Boise.

Stayed here for a wedding for 3 nights. The wedding and recepition was here at the hotel. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The location was incredible for having a lot of things to do around and within walking distance. Housekeeping was always finished early, when ever we went out for the afternoon, it was always clean when we returned. Staff was extremely friendly and informative. This was supposed to be the nicest hotel in Boise. Coffee cup in room had not been clean - still had coffee ring and dried coffee on the bottom of the cup. Black hair was in the "clean hand towel in the bathroom. Overall the $300 a night room felt more like a $80 a night room.

Stayed two nights on a business trip, the room was part of a block reserved by my hosts, so the rate was better than surrounding hotels of similar quality. I was greeted at the front desk by a very pretty and enthusiastic manager; Katie...so enthusiastic and friendly I was looking for the cameras. I can honestly say it was the best check in experience I've ever had. The hotel staff was extremely polite and accommodating. The gym is expansive.
