Overall The Grove is a wonderful place to stay. It has all the qualities needed to have a wonderful stay. The location is perfect because it's in the middle of downtown Boise. They have a beautiful terrace, just enjoyed my trip. The best part is the friendliness of the staff especially The Valet named Edgar ???

This hotel will deliver a great experience for you every time! Families, vacationers or business travelers - they aim to accommodate. The pool and work out room are great - don't pass up a spa treatment either. The restaurant is a bit expensive but worth it! It's location downtown is perfect for a stroll to the capital building, many excellant restaurants and music venues.

Great location in downtown. Free shuttle to and from the airport; staff was always friendly and helpful; clean rooms; 4th floor balcony that is wonderful; Traders Joe's is across the street so snacks are cheap and convenient.

We ordered using our reward points and still came out with a great room. Overall the experience was really good! The staff was beyond a+. Pros: very spacious room, plenty of areas to put things, entire staff was friendly and attentive, good view (most rooms are on the higher levels so you can't go wrong), easy to walk to the plentiful amount of places nearby (our reason for staying there), the bar downstairs is well priced and they let you bring drinks to your room which is very convenient! I was met by friendly and helpful Valet to the Front Desk staff that was consistently exceptional from the first moment to the last minute on the property. The rooms were super quiet even thought it's located near the city center. Luckily my room rate was at maximum of government per diem. The regular cost might be too high to return from pleasure.

The staff here goes out of their way to accommodate you. From the managers, wait staff, front desk and valets. Very clean hotel. Walk down town to all the cafes and events! Nice pool, sauna and health club.

Stayed two nights for a "business" trip. It was very clean, comfortable. The receptionists, bel hops, valets were all happy and accomodating. The rooms were quiet and comfortable. The views from the 12th floor were fabulous and the gym was fantastic. The rooms were spacious. Piano bar downstairs. Bathrooms were updated and clean. The whole place was seemingly new.

My wife and I had an awesome opportunity to stay at this hotel for our one year anniversary, it was amazing! What a fun weekend, this hotel is within walking distance of our favorite restaurants and the movies. From our room we could see right up the street to the train station, what a view! The pool room is beautiful, and the guy at the front desk was awesome! He showed us around the gym and was super fun to chat with! Can wait for another excuse to stay here for a long weekend!

The Grove is a recently renovated hotel in downtown Boise. Great location, great staff, all you would expect from a first-rate hotel. It also has an arena under the hotel. While we were staying, they hosted some bare-knuckles or ultimate fighting matches that brought the young, hard-partying, hard-drinking younger crowd you would expect. Our friends had to call the desk twice because of noise at 2:30 AM. The hotel handled the situation by moving our friends to a suite the second night, but ... Read more

The Grove is an easy choice to make when booking downtown Boise. Exactly what you would expect from a full service hotel, and more than you would expect from the bland exterior. Especially easy when in town for an event at the Qwest Center.

Came to Boise for business. This property is located in the city center, with everything you need within walking distance. The great experience started with the free shuttle ride from the airport--the shuttle driver was fantastic and set the tone with the initial impression. Upon arriving at the hotel, I was immediately greeted by the front desk staff, and check in was very easy. The room was on one of the higher levels with a city view. The room came with a mini-fridge (unstocked), rain sho... Read more

We had a room with double queen beds and a nice view out our window. The room is clean with modern amenities and free wifi. All though our room has been stayed in we thought it would be fun to take some professional photos since we specialize in real estate photography. Hope The Grove likes them!

It is great to find a World Class hotel in such a small city. The hotel is a gorgeous property right on Downtown, within walking distance from the State's Capitol as well as other state and city offices. Great dining and entertaining around the property, also within walking distance. Super trendy decor in rooms, great amenities, I didn't eat in the restaurant though, but it seems to be a hot spot in town.

This hotel is strategically located downtown and close to lots of fun. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The gym is legit as is the sauna and pool area. The valet in the morning was slow and we waited at least 15 minutes for our car. Ultimately we would stay here again shall the occasion arise.

We love this hotel. Friendly staff, nice updated rooms, gym, restaurant and perfect location for Downtown Boise and the surrounding area. We have stayed here several times for weddings we have had downtown. We love the breakfast in the hotel-delicious. The valet parking was full while we were there but they directed us to the parking below hotel and once we figured that out it was fine. The rooms are a good size and look nice. They have a desk area and all the regular hotel stuff.

My wife and I stayed there from June 22 thru the 25. You can walk a block in any direction and find a nice little restaurant or pub. The staff is very helpful and professional. The rooms seemed to have been updated with in the past few years. The only negative that I noticed is that the parking sucks, so valet. We would stay here again and/or tell our family and friends about this place.

This hotel is right in the heart of Boise near so many good restaurants. When I arrived there was a piano player in the lounge and right across the street there was a street festival with live music-- so festive! Also very close to the river and the lovely running path. The hotel is sleek and has a lap pool!

We were in town for a few days for a class reunion. It was are first time staying at The Grove and it was a good choice. We wanted to be downtown for the activities and restaurants available within walking distance. There isn't much retail in downtown. The parking garage is very tight and I would highly recommend valet parking. Edgar and the others with the valet parking service were excellent. The lobby is beautiful and we enjoyed the lobby bar. Breakfast and service at Emelio's was excellent... Read more

Very nice, clean, well appointed rooms with good amenities. Comfy beds. Desk staff very friendly and interested in their guests. Great location within walking distance of plenty of restaurants/bars. Restaurant and bar on site but didn't try them out. Parking was not astronomical such as at other places.

Clean, updated rooms and a very friendly staff. Good downtown location, easy to walk to shops and restaurants. Only downside was that the hot tub was out of order. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed for 5 nights to experience Boise for a possible move there. The rooms were nice and beds comfy. Big problem happened on second and third days, they didn't clean our room two days in a row! But, they did comp us one night for the inconvenience. We ate at Emilio's in the hotel and the good was great, service great but slow kitchen. The food well made up for it though. The fitness center was nice too, lots of cardio machines, free weights and an actual squat rack. Plus the location can't ... Read more

My wife and I had stayed at the Grove Hotel before and were looking forward to staying there again twice in July at both ends of a driving trip from Vancouver, WA to Jackson, WY. We were assigned room #428, a "Terrace Suite." Everything about the room looked nice at first, but the problems started mid-evening and continued overnight. First, the Terrace immediately outside the room runs the length of the building. While it has a great view, it turns into a meeting/gathering place for guests. ... Read more

I stayed here on a business trip and (gulp) chose this hotel over a points earning chain. The location is nice and central - walking distance to my office, restaurants, coffee shops, open space - or rent a bicycle. Only 10-15 minutes to the airport is a bonus as well. Over the next two months I'll be back in Boise at least 3 times and have already booked my rooms, which are spacious, well decorated and have a good working space (and small fridge, which is handy). Staff is friendly, profess... Read more
