Spent one Saturday night here. They charge for parking, but if you can handle that (or do not have a car), this may be the place for you. Walking distance from restaurants, parks, stores, pubs - you name it! Okay room (seemed a bit overpriced to me). The real value of the Hampton is if you get out and about. Great base of operations and the service can't be beat. Free airport shuttle.

The staff on duty where so accommodating to me. One room left next to elevators and I coins to sleep. They took care of the room and sent me to to top floor corner sweat no kids on that floor. Slept perfect. Helped me with some contracting paperwork and just treated me with so much respect. I didn't ask for anything. Made my stay there so relaxing a must go to

This was a very nice Hampton and a great location. Shortly after checking in I was able to stroll through the Saturday street market that was set up through the afternoon. There were plenty of awesome places to eat, a cool wine bar, movie theater, and BSU close by the hotel.

We stayed at this property on a Thursday night and paid about $200 for a standard room, and that was booked several weeks in advance. This isn't a good value because of the steep rates, which are very high for a Hampton. We wanted the close downtown proximity and the property is one block from CenturyLink Arena. The hotel is clean and modern with all the typical Hampton amenities like free breakfast. There is a free Boise Shuttle that will transport to and from the airport which is convenient if... Read more

We recently traveled to Boise with a middle school group for an academic competition at BSU and had the good fortune of staying at the Hampton Inn. This place is amazing!! From booking to check out, every detail was thoughtfully planned and the hotel staff went way above and beyond to make us comfortable. The Sales Manager is a gem and even had a cute little welcome sign and snacks for us upon arrival. The facilities were well maintained and clean, breakfast was fab, and the meeting spaces, pool... The bed was comfortable, the room was quiet, the staff was friendly, and the location was perfect. I very much enjoyed the option of Miso Soup and Sticky Rice in the breakfast buffet as an alternative to the standard eggs and waffles. I stayed in a "King Suite," but felt the name "suite" was misleading, as there were no walls or doors between any of the sections of the room. It just felt like a large room. This is not a complaint, just an observation. I would happily stay here again.

The staff was very nice. The bed comfortable and room clean. Continental breakfast had many options that changed from day to day. We arrived late Thursday and left very early Sunday. Our only complaint was our room wasn't really cleaned every day. Our bed was made and that was it. A vacuum and dust would have been nice.

We were visiting family and friends in Boise and like staying downtown in the midst of the action of this charming and hopping little city. This hotel has not disappointed. The location is perfect, the staff and friendly and helpful and the room was comfortable. My only suggestion is that you ask for a room that is not on the same side where the garbage trucks arrive (at 5:30 am).

Everything about this hotel is lovely, with the exception of the entry. It's uncomfortable to have to go down an alley to reach the entrance, and the parking garage atmosphere in front of the doors is less than inviting. While street noise from my room was noticeable, it was less of a problem than the noisy neighbors whose every word was heard through the closed but uninsulated doors between our rooms.

When I first checked in, the room that I had was really warm so I called the front desk and they said they would send somebody up. True to the Hampton reputation, someone came up immediately. He was unable to fix it so he took care of changing rooms for me. All I had to do was wait and he took care of the rest. Pool is only for adults after a certain hour. Internet connection, not so good. You have to enter room card every time you use the elevator. The hotel is more for adults than families. I stayed one night at the Hampton Inn Downtown in Boise recently. Great location. The hotel is centrally located to downtown. They offer a shuttle, Red/Green, from BOI and the staff is quite friendly. The parking situation is a little weird but don't be intimidated, it's pretty painless once you get the hang of it. Parking is a little unclear due to the use of the parking garage but once I was given guidance by staff it was fine. I did like that you needed a key card to access the floors from the elevator. If someone didn't use your keycard the elevator didn't move.

Staff was very friendly like always. Rooms were clean and it is an amazing location. Got in real late and was able to enjoy some of the Boise downtown. This is always a favorite destination for my family. It's also a favorite destination when I'm traveling for business.

This is a great spot in Boise. It is close to downtown within easy walking distance of great restaurants and shopping. The Basque Block is a fun area. Trader Joe's is within blocks and you can even walk to the Morrison Center for concerts or to BSU sporting activities. I will be staying there again soon!

Excellent location. Good rooms. Morning breakfast in lobby area was a very nice way to begin each day. Staff uniformly pleasant. I think the rate was somewhat "pricey" relative to other nearby options but it's proximity to downtown (within walking distance) gives it an edge over other properties.

Very nice hotel in downtown Boise. Nice amenities and the location is perfect for downtown and State Capital activities. Internet was fast and the free breakfast is excellent. Really nothing to complain about.

From check-in to departure, I loved my stay. Staff at the desk are very pleasant and knowledgeable. Breakfast (included) is quite good. The location is great, near restaurants, book stores and the Capitol. I had a kind suite and would get that again. It was terrific for a 3 night stay. Compliments to everyone at the hotel.

This is a great hotel, with very friendly service. We were greeted with a smile, and they went above and beyond asking if they could help in any way. But, they were not intrusive. The room was large, the bed comfortable, and even with construction across the street, it was quiet. The gym is nice, with ample equipment. We didn't have breakfast in the hotel, but it was nice that they offered coffee in the lobby at all hours. I will definitely stay here again.

We wanted to stay downtown and hang out for a weekend. The location was central to everything we wanted to do. Loved the indoor pool and hot tub. The lobby was a great place to hang out with our family.

Breakfast is awful so we always eat out. Coffee in breakfast room is terrible but we like the coffee packets in the rooms. We bring our own cream. Like this hotel and stay often. We like the suites as my daughter has a bed, I have a bed, and the 4 year old has a bed. Will be interested to see what the new hotels going into this area will be like.

I stay at this hotel every time I am in Boise for business meetings. The service and accommodations are always terrific. In the years I have stayed here, usually at least four time per year, I have never had a bad experience.
