After staying at a top knotch hotel in Poipu, we were a little disappointed. We had a 2 Bedroom lockout room. A lockout room is a suite which has a 2nd bedroom that you can exit from. I was not too happy about this as we have young kids and to think during the night one of the kids can easily exit the room accidentally worried me. I had to put suitcases in front of the door to have a goodnight sleep and not worrying about them. Our room was directly in front of the pool. The kids went out one ... Read more

We stayed in a 2-room unit. It was beautiful, clean, spacious and well appointed. It was quiet; we didn't hear our neighbors. The grounds are well-kept. The staff were friendly. We enjoyed the Jacuzzi and the pool, too.

We booked a room on Booking.com for two nights. Although we knew it was a timeshare, we figured they were selling the empty room for a couple nights in the off-season. It wasn't any cheaper than rooms in other complexes. We certainly didn't agree to subjecting ourselves to heavy duty sales pitches. But, that is what you get...you listen to a spiel when you pick up the parking pass, another under the guise of a concierge telling where you can go to do the activities you want to do and finally... This property is very nice and well kept, appears to Be an older property but it is well-maintained neat and clean... adjacent and convenient to a golf course and short walk down the street to see ocean views... staff is attentive and on hand to handle any needs that may arise... swimming pool is small but very attractive and comfortable... location is convenient to many sites and local restaurants.

We stayed in a one bedroom unit, third floor overlooking the pool, golf course and ocean in the distance. The unit was well supplied with kitchen ware , towels and bathroom supplies, and the unit had very nice accommodations. The kitchen was newly upgraded. The bathroom had nicely tiled shower and bathtub was new. The dining table sat 6 with nice chairs. The location was very nice and the staff were very responsive to our needs and/or requests.

This review relates to a 2-bedroom timeshare exchange. Anyone who has ever been on Kauai knows that there are feral chickens everywhere. It goes with the territory. This was our 5th trip to Kauai and all I can say is, unlike any of the other places the chickens here are permanent residents and they want to be fed early and they will let you know about it. Every morning. The biggest mistake you can make is to think the chicks are cute and feed them. Our neighbors upstairs enjoyed feeding them and... Read more

First vist to this Wyndham, so far ever thing is as stated on the site except for the cool trade wind breezes, not to much of that. There is no a/c in the studio unit and we are on the third floor, it is hot and humid. We do have a ceiling fan but it does not have speed control so we are not using it at night while sleeping, but will notify the staff in the morning. You will have to sleep with the windows open, they do have screens on the windows so no bug worries. It was very warm at night, but... Read more

We were very fortunate to have chosen Wyndham Ka 'Eo Kai Princeville as our vacation spot on Kauai. The staff was warm, friendly, and willing to answer any question you may have had. Our unit was a two bedroom unit with a view of he golf course and ocean. The trade winds were all that were needed to keep is cool and comfortable. We even needed a blanket on some nights. You do need to keep your doors and windows open. And, we did have a local visitor wake us up promptly at 6:30 each morning... Read more

We loved staying in Princeville on the north side of the island which is greener and wetter. So great location on us. Try to get an upper unit room. We had a two bedroom lower unit which was very spacious, but also handicap accessible which was a little weird because we neither needed nor requested it. The lower unit felt a little exposed to other units and not as private. We also had people above us that were very heavy walkers - we could hear every footstep. The landscaping is beautiful ... Ask for a room on the upper floor facing the golf course if you can get one as you need the tradewinds to help with room cooling as this property (as well as most on Kauai) has no air conditioning. Very friendly staff. Exterior is needing some work on decks etc. but the rooms themselves are very nice and comfortable beds.
