I especially admire the excellent customer service. The staff are all very polite and helpful. The rooms are well appointed, clean and quiet. We didn't eat at the Inn as there are many great restaurants to choose from in Paia. We went down to the beach often; it is easy to access via a private path. All in all this was a wonderful place to relax and regenerate.

We've vacationed in Maui for years, always staying in Wailea or Kapalua--which are beautiful but high rise touristy. And we always spend a day in the Paia area, eating, shopping, enjoying the beautiful drives. This time, we decided to stay in Paia--what a different vacation! Small, charming hotel right in town, walkable everywhere. Small, simply/nicely decorated rooms, a most friendly, wonderful staff and a small beautiful beach (warming--this is surfer country, need to drive a bit for swimmi... Read more

Cute place. We were in the area and decided to stop for breakfast. They were very friendly and the food was good. I did think it was a bit pricy for 2 orders of eggs and orange juice. It was $58, not including the tip. In comparison, I had a full breakfast buffet at Makena Resort for $60 with a great view.

The Paia Inn is where it's AT- SO CUTE, right in the middle of downtown Paia which is the cutest little surfer town ever and a must-see. The Inn itself was such a gem - we checked in a little early and while our room wasn't quite ready we were able to drop our luggage with the sweet ladies at reception and park our car so we could get exploring. The ladies upgraded from a room with a Queen sized bed to one with a King sized bed and a town view with a little more space than we originally bargai... Read more

We are so happy we chose the Paia Inn; it was outstanding. Paia is your town if you are seeking a special vacation in a small beach town filled with creative people. The Paia Inn is a perfect example of the best of Paia; stylish, filled with art, very comfortable, and the staff is knowledgeable, helpful, and authentically friendly. We loved our room, which was upstairs in the main hotel. The bed was so comfortable, and our room quiet and restful - we slept very well. The room was well furn... Read more

We stayed in the partial oceanview suite which was awesome, like having our own chic apartment in Paia for the week. Walking distance to a few great spots to eat + shop - highly recommend the "fishmarket" in town and cafe d'amis (crepes) + the flatbread co are great too, and not as overpriced as many places nearby. Room was well appointed for cooking, even had a coffee grinder which we missed when we moved on to Kauai, great service and friendly tips on things nearby. Did eat at their cafe fo... Read more

Firstly it doesn't look like much from outside, but the cafe/restaurant is round the back - walk down the the verandah on the right side of the building. The cafe area is beautifully decorated, light, airy and secluded. Open style kitchen so you can see the chef doing his magic with everything fresh. Service was excellent and the eggs benedict are absolutely perfect. A very delicious relaxing breakfast. I highly recommend.

The wife and I stayed here for two night after a week in Kauai and absolutely loved it. It was our first trip to Hawaii and I was looking for something close to the airport and this was perfect. Without driving to Hana this was a great place to be located. Their private beach entrance was great and we saw turtles on the beach both nights. The ladies working there were lovely and answered all our questions. When we go back this is where we'll stay.

The Paia Inn is a small hidden gem. I you didn't know it was there, you might pass right by. Luckily for me I was traveling with someone that knew the area. We were a large group of 10 so we reserved the 3 room beach house and 2 other rooms. It was perfect. We had room for everyone and a great family spot to congregate for hula lessons and lei making. The staff were wonderful and knowledgeable about the area. The food in the café was a delight. The inn is centrally located to all things in the ... Read more

I spent endless hours searching for the perfect hotel getaway for my wife and I's Maui trip this year. While perusing the countless options on Trip Advisor, I stumbled across the Paia Inn late one night and was blown away by the photos and reviews. I must say, it is extremely rare that a hotel experience lives up to the aesthetic glory that online photos and descriptions invoke, but in the case of Paia Inn, we encountered an amazing exception. We stayed at the Paia Inn for 3 days during our week long trip and it was the highlight of our trip! The Inn was beautiful and so tranquil. We loved the lush gardens and how close it was to the beach. Every member of the staff we encountered was kind and helpful and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and accommodated. The restaurant at the inn was delicious! Definitely try it if you are in the area! The beach was beautiful and uncrowded. We saw sea turtles beach every day we were t... Read more

This is really a house. Ok, the second floor of a house, but it feels like you have the place to yourself. We never saw or heard anyone below us, even though the inn was full. The "suite" has a full kitchen, dining area, living room, three bedrooms (only one has a bed, and one is closed off), an open area referred to as the office, a bathroom, and a porch/lanai that runs the length of the house. This is a great choice for someone who typically rents a villa, but with the full services of a hote... Read more

I love this little inn! Quaint, hip and lots of charm. They've got great staff and the owners are super sweet. It's nestled in the heart of Paia, making your trek to the beach and bars very convenient.

Candice and the entire Paia Inn team saved the day, if not the entire trip!! After a horrible experience with other accommodations, one phone call to Paia Inn and things were all ready on the up and up. Despite our last minute, late arrival, Candice and team were not only accommodating and welcoming, but they were generally concerned with our comfort and happiness both with the Inn and the town. We spent one night,6/15/2016, at the Paia Inn before moving on to Hana. We absolutely loved it. Due to a 5 hour flight delay we arrived much later than anticipated but were welcomed in style! The lady at the front desk even helped us in with our luggage. Since we were only staying 1 night and after a long day of travel views were not all that important. We knew when we booked the rooms we would have a street view. The overall feel of the hotel however was very charming. The rooms were clean... Read more

This place is incredible. We stayed in the beach house. You can see the view from the patio and the beach is closer than it looks in this picture -- 25 steps to the beach. The patio is super private and would easily host little kids. My kids are older and loved the hot tub and the BBQ. Even a back fridge so you don't need to go far. Bedrooms are terrific with new beds, linens, towels, etc and house has an upscale design esthetic. Top it off with super friendly staff, walking distance to shops, b... Read more

This area gets particularly busy during the day and quieter at night. There are many restaurants and cute shops right at your doorstep which is an added bonus. The title says it all. My family and I were mainly looking for a place to stay that was near the beach, but also near some restaurants/shops. The Paia Inn conquers all three of our requests. First off, the beach location could not be more convenient (about a 5 minute walk at a leisure pace). Once arrived at the beach, simply gorgeous and QUITE! The other wonderful aspect of the Inn was that the shops/restaurants were all within a few paces. Every shop has it's own unique twist; whether it be a g... Read more

Wife and I in Maui for our 25th Anniversary. Stayed in Paia for the first night before transitioning to the west side. Even though it was only one night, had a great time, and was even surprised with a bottle wine. Lost of nice shopping, and went to Mamas Fish house for dinner. Expensive, but so worth it. The girls at Paia Inn greeted us warmly, and called us when the room was ready to allow us time to shop. Will definitely be back if we return to Maui.

We stayed at the Paia Inn for two nights at the beginning of our Maui trip for our 10th Anniversary. It was great to experience a different part of the island. The hotel is very cute with awesome employees. We opted for the small room---and it was cozy. It was great being able to walk to restaurants--a good variety of choices. We splurged on dinner at Mama's Fish House--which was a short Uber trip away.

Our family stayed in the 3 bedroom house, part of the Paia Inn in Paia, Maui, Hawaii! We had a wonderful time. Staff was great and cleaning staff did a great job on cleaning each day as well! They were always very attentive. Direct access to a gorgeous beach. A bit scary walking over the lava rock to get to the beach but worth it! The house had beautiful indoor and outdoor space. If we didn't have to deal with the 9 hours of flying to get there we would visit there often!
