"We kept a list because it was like a Chevy Chase movie. Staff was extremely courteous & efficient. Beautiful resort to look at outside & great facilities if they worked.Our mountain view room overlooked dirt, field (no mts) construction & was 1st floor.Parking was a hike from accommodations. Room door did not lock when closed & we left for an entire afternoon unaware. (nothing disturbed) TV needed repair twice for text that would not disappear from screen. Also volume went up & down throughout programming. Had to constantly adjust..Vending machine would not accept bills.Shower floor dangerous because no texture on floor or a bath mat. AC did not go on & off regularly during the night but did during the morning and though set at 72 was miraculously @ 69 degrees. Left room @ 9:20 Wed. am & room still had not been made up by 1 pm. Had to ask maid service in the hall if we were getting a room cleaning at all. Opened screen door to dry bathing suit on chair on patio & screen door fell off in my arms. (replaced by maintenance almost immediately.) After a while we just laughed at all the mishaps but couldn't wait to get back to Oahu. Would NOT stay there again as beautiful as the grounds were. (NIce room also...large, well furnished)"

"Very soft beds and pillows. One recommendation: it would have been nice to have a microwave in the room like so many other hotels have. We had a very good room with a view that was nicer than I expected. I would stay here again!"

"DIRT PARKING LOT! Very inconvenient to get to our room. There was nothing on the web site about the improvements going on. Lots of machinery noise! Still you had to pay to park! The resort was beautiful. The food was very good."

"Loved this Hotel. Loved the swimming pools. The rooms were a bit tired but clean and comfortable. Would recommend this Hotel and would return again. Had a fantastic time and the concierge was extremely helpful and knowledgable. The airlines lost my luggage and she repeatedly kept ringing and finally tracked it down. Great place to stay if you want to relax."

"My granddaughter and I spent 9 days at the Kauai Beach Resort. All the staff we encountered were welcoming, friendly, and helpful. We had an ocean view room -- beautiful view of the grounds (pool area) and ocean! The location was perfect for us -- close to the airport and between all our planned activities so very convenient. I was pleased with the beach access, and the pool area was well maintained. I'd definitely recommend this property to family and friends!"

"The Kauai Beach Resort was an amazing place for my family (myself, husband, two children under 12) to stay while visiting the Garden Island! It was steps from a gorgeous beach, the room was comfortable, the staff was fantastic and my children loved the pools. It is located near shopping, restaurants and the sights are all within an hours travel! We will definately recommend this property to our friends and family and will choose Kauai Beach Resort when we return. Mahalo!"
