Hyatt is always a nice place to go but this Hyatt needs some updating. From the rooms to the pool. It's too old looking and needs to be updated to modern times. Our room was too far from everything. Ive stayed there 10 times in the last 19 years, but stayed for the first time since 2003. It is a beautiful property and has excellent service. However, the hotel and rooms are getting very tired. We had an incredible Ocean Front room, but there were stains on my mattress in the area you would typically see treatment for bugs. I left a note for the cleaning lady and asked her if that's what that was. She said "no sir, not at all, but we'll change it out so you feel better about it." Nothing ... Read more

I wrote this review with the idea that I didn't want folks to assume that my family or I feel entitled. We, as many of you, have worked hard to give our loved ones a memorable and hopefully beautiful memory when we get a chance to travel. So, that being said, the Hyatt is a nice place. We had a deluxe ocean view room, with a sofa bed for our son. I don't know what qualifies as deluxe, but the room was very small. This was one of the best vacations we have ever had and the people at the Hyatt Regency made it even more wonderful. The Hyatt Regency is a great hotel in a great location. Visited this resort with husband for our anniversary. Loved it. Coffee shop, stores, multiple restaurants, spa, and great pool area. Rooms and beds were clean and comfortable. Recommend at least a partial ocean view and don't miss out on the spa. "Drums of the Pacific" is a great show. Would definitely go back again!

This hotel is dated and not worth the money you will spend. We were here the week before at another location so maybe it is unfair to compare the two but first impressions say a lot and our first day has not been good. The service is horrible. We cannot connect to our adjoining room because it needs a key lock and it has taken over thirty minutes to get someone to come and help with that. The pool is completely packed and the grounds are not clean. Unfortunately people are not clean and do not c... Read more

I knew I wanted to stay in or near Lahaina when we were on Maui, so I researched several resorts and this one won. I was not disappointed with my choice. Upon arrival, we were presented with leis--a fresh orchid one for me and one made of shells for my husband. So beautiful and such a nice welcome. We had a room with a view of the mountains and the golf course. Nice private lanai that we enjoyed breakfast on. We did splurge and do the breakfast buffet at the Swan Court the first day there. The family was able to squeeze in a three day trip to Maui in late July. We stayed at the Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa. We have never been treated so supremely! The staff were all extremely helpful and kind. The grounds were unbelievable! I had heard that Hawaii was beautiful, but this resort really gave us a great first impression. Thanks to all the personnel at this location for making our short trip truly a vacation to remember!

Unfortunately, The Hyatt Regency did not come close to meeting our expectations of a 4 star resort. The service was at best average with many instances of poor to no service which is certainly frustrating given the amount of money you spend for a "resort" experience. With the exception of the people working at the Honolulu Coffee Company, who worked quickly and were always friendly (as you would expect spending $32 for 2 iced coffees and 2 almond croissants). Although our room appeared clean... Read more

I've stayed at Hyatt back in March of 2015 and left a review saying it needs renovation because it's old. I've stayed here again for our anniversary in July this year in an upgraded room, which was Oceanfront; Top Floor. Boy, we had the best hotel stay experience ever, pretty close to Hyatt Residence Club stay from 2 years ago!! Only thing was that we found an eggshell (a whole one) behind the refrigerator. The room was fairly clean, so maybe housekeeping staff needs to clean invisible places, c... Read more

We have stayed here many times over the years, though never before in August. It is a lovely property and location, but the crowds this time of year are really noticeable and affected our enjoyment. Breakfast that may be included in your rate plan used to be available in a couple of venues is now only offered in the Swan Court, which means that there is a very long line to get in at any arrival time. Fortunately the staff is remarkably efficient and they bus the tables instantaneously so the l... Read more

This beautiful property was breathtaking. From overlooking the pool, beach, and landscaping was beyond what was expected. The property is well maintained.. Bird, ducks, geese, flamingos, parrots were all present. It truly is beautiful. I recently visited with my family of 8. Their service is phenomenal . The staff is courteous, attentive and pleasant. Without hesitation they fulfill your request. Eating at the swan restaurant for breakfast is all worthwhile. The staff superb. The Japengo... Read more

This was our 2nd stay at this gorgeous resort. It really feels like heaven on earth. We loved listening to the ocean from our room in the Lahaina Tower. The staff were all friendly and warned us we were visiting during a peak period so we planned our trip to the breakfast buffett accordingly. The grounds are beautiful. We enjoyed the on site food options and there are plenty of choices to suit everyone. It didn't matter that we were without a vehicle. We caught the bus to Lahaina twice or walked... Read more

the view from our room couldn't get any better. we could see the pool and ocean. the sunsets were beautiful. id definitely go back. we hit the monroe spa and it was world class luxury. Rooms were not that great due to them being a little outdated but we did have 2 balcony views that were epic.

The people that work here seem to enjoy their job & they know service. I travel a lot for work and see a lot of places- these people are good. I dropped off the car & was promptly greeted by the valet. They took care of all the bags. I saw what looked like a long line to check in but people appeared out of nowhere to speed it up. Since I travel & stay at Hyatts, the upgraded my room. Highly recommend this hotel. The pool area is real nice & right on the ocean.

I had a fabulous time at this beautiful resort with my husband. The staff were very accommodating and treated us very special. Despite the construction, we had a beautiful ocean view. I loved the pools and club level access. Koskie and Winette were extremely accommodating. It was a perfect Hawaiian vacation. I'm a platinum member with a Hyatt credit card for a good reason. I remain faithful to only Hyatt hotels because of the impeccable service here. If there's anything that is to your unsatisfa... Read more

We absolutely loved this luau. I was looking forward to the food and some hula dancing. I didn't expect to see such talented dancers and a full length show after the meal. This was a highlight of our trip. I would recommend VIP seats. Being up close was fun. I do think the show is good, no matter where you sit.
