We stayed in Paki Maui #226. The pros: The facility is easy to get to and close to great beaches. Plenty of free parking. Laundry rooms on each floor. Cons: aside from some specific complaints about our room, the facility in general is pretty noisy (weed whacking early AM, a relentless beeping noise from the front desk area, and noisy parking lot filtering into our room). The pool is really small and shallow. Be sure to check about what is and is not included with your room, house supply-w... Read more

We loved Paki Maui! Our studio apartment on the 4th floor had an amazing ocean view with nothing between us and ocean but a grassy area where you could lounge the day away. We fell asleep each night to sound of the ocean. The unit was well-appointed and very comfortable and the kitchen was well-equipped and easy to use. The pool area and BBQ pit where nice and clean as was the entire facility. We felt safe the whole time and it was nice to have the Farmers Market grocery store and a few re... Read more

This place is perfect for family or couples, on the water with private beach, pool and hot tub, bug bbq area. Across from a great farmers market. Kaanapali is walking distance and Lahaina is only a 10 min drive

We stayed in room 405. The room itself was nice. It was updated, had a great view, and was generally very clean. The housekeeping service was very helpful as well. However when we returned home my wife had over 20 bed bug bites. We knew these were bed bugs because 1) they were in batches of three. Bed bugs bite like this. I found this out after doing research online. 2) we found an adult bedbug and a smaller bedbug when we were going through and trying to disinfect our luggage. I have picture... Read more

our visit to the paki maui is two fold. Our first week we stayed in a two bedroom oceanfront room. our second week we are in an oceanfront studio. First and foremost you must remember that these condos are privately owned so you may have a room that is modern and up to date or you may have a room that is, well, not. Before we booked our rooms we tried to get pictures or discriptions but we were told that they could not provide this. So blindly we booked. The 2 bedroom is not the modern updated ... Read more

Here are the reasons why one can come to Maui to rest and enjoy while they are here. For military families: they gave us the 40% discount. Staff: all the people from the front desk to maintenance people made us felt welcome here. We really enjoyed their friendliness. Hotel facility: Our room was less than 30 yards from the beach; the sunset was most beautiful as we observe the magnificent sight from our balcony; the kitchen facility with the electric stove, microwave oven, the refrigerator w... I read all the reviews on all the sites and went into this with very low expectations. I specifically read a review trashing room 209 so when we checked in a I told them I did not want that room. No problem I had room 211 garden view reserved. As it turned out room 209 was an ocean view. I asked if they had an ocean view room available and the very nice front desk lady, Stella, tried not to smile when she said "Only 209." Then she made a very reasonable suggestion. "Why not just go look at 209... Read more

First, the good: The view! This is the least expensive ocean front view I found on Maui, during my search for a room. And, the view delivers. The ocean front rooms are just a few yards from the water, with view of the distant islands. You can walk to the water and wade/snorkel. Like a few beaches in Maui, it is not sandy, but still beautiful and shallow. This is a condo. You have a full refrigerator, and oven and burners to do your own cooking. If you are in Maui on a budget, this can save qui... Read more

Nice little place. Next to a public beach. Unit didn't face the ocean but did have views of the mountains and a green area. Pretty water feature in center. Pool and hot tub by ocean. Next to active road. You can hear cars pretty regularly but not enough to detract from the experience.

We stayed for a week at Paki Maui resort in August 2016. The hotel consists of individual condo units that vary drastically in their upkeep. We were shuttled from one room to another due to some booking confusion, and got to experience (for better or for worse) rooms on the first, second and third floors. So I feel like I have a comprehensive view of the place. Here is the good, the bad and the ugly: 1) No airconditioning. Do not stay here in the summer months as it is absolutely miserabl... Read more
