"Me and my family had bien planning for this trip for a long time so we looked around for something worth and great for the money we were gonna pay. The special was reasonable and it made the hotel sound and look great we even paid extra for the deluxe. The condo was okay but we did have a lot of problems with our bedding like bed bugs, all of us got bites all over pour bodies. The linens was bad. Felt like motel6 but with the deluxe added on the room discription. The wireless Internet kept going down call them they got back on the fourth day of my stay. Lucky I knew how to fix it otherwise I would not bein able to load any of my pictures. Over all Maui made all the uncomfort of the condo go away until we gr back in."

"This place was amazing. This was our first trip to Hawaii & Maui (honeymoon), and we are 24 years old - could not have asked for a better place to stay. When we drove up I was convinced the Mahana was not the right Mahana; it looked WAY too nice for the price! The entry way and parking lot was very well kept and looked like a 5 star hotel, way better than the pictures in my opinion. We did request to be on a higher floor, so they put us on the 9th floor which was amazing. You can hear the waves from your room even with the doors closed, it's that close to the water. We went in early May, which is at the very end of the Humpback whale migratory period so I didn't expect to see any whales, but we actually caught a very quick glimpse of one splashing back down into the water from our balcony.

The staff was kind, there were some funny run ins with some of the ie. we asked if someone could come clean our room because it was extremely sandy (we may have been the culprits) and the guy's response was 'Well, you are in Hawaii...' Fair response, but not really necessary given that we are the customer and all we wanted was to get it vacuumed out. He sent someone up to clean and all was well, just didn't like the silly attitude about it.

The bar downstairs has a lot of cool stuff for breakfast, great coffee, and a super nice guy who owns it. They also have good burgers and hot dogs for lunch.

The location was very convenient-it was about 10 minutes from Lahaina Town, a cool place my wife and I really liked to go when we didn't have something else going on. It was close to most of the touristy stuff that we wanted to do, and the island is so small it was about 50 minutes to an hour from the airport if you are going a little faster than the 35-40 mph speed limits all over the island.

Overall, this place was AWESOME and I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a more affordable place to stay on the west end of the island but don't want to sacrifice service and luxury."
