We arrived In outrigger Aina Nalu for our Spring break and were very happy with location and size of the condo. But the unit was dirty and from the fans and air conditioners dust and dirt was flying around. I think the airconditioners has never been cleaned.(surprising since there is a hefty cleaning fee) One fan was not working and the toaster was broken we went to the reception with the issue but nothing was ever fixed. The next day we hang out towels out side our condo to dry, we were never t... Read more

We stayed in a 2 bed, 2 bath condo. The room was very well appointed and extras like washing machine and dryer were appreciated. When we stayed there were no cots available which was a bit annoying but we made do. The pools at this resort were clean and never too crowded. The barbecues and amenities surrounding were always clean and a good way to keep costs down by self catering. Car parking was convenient near rooms and it was great having a car park near town so you could experience everyt... Read more

We just returned from staying at the Aina Nalu. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return again. Our 2 bedroom/1 bathroom condo was very clean and nicely appointed. The grounds and pool were beautiful and well maintained. We had very positive experiences with everyone on staff on Aina Nalu. My sister and brother in law stayed in a 1 bedroom/1 bathroom and had an equally positive experience. We all agree that it was an excellent value, and would definitely stay here again.

There are alot positiv things to say about that Hotel, let my start: amazing, modern, beautyful room with a great kitchen, bathroom, Livin room and bedroom. It was clean and everything ok to use. There is a great pool also that invites you to chill in the sun of maui. BBQ facilities, very friendly Service, short walk into the town of lahaina, just a perfect place for a good Holiday. worth its price. Went there for Halloween, it was a fun experience. Would go back! Loved it!

A group of 6 of us shared the 2 bed 2 bath with a pullout sofa and it worked great for us, I saw the $175 check out fee when we booked so that was no shock, but I just hated the fact that you had to pay to park.... I have never had to pay to park at the hotel I am staying at. All in all it was a good stay pool was nice, room had AC and the price was good.

Just a couple blocks from the ocean. No views. Pools were nice. Sofa bed was horrible and slate floors in kitchen and bath were filthy. Sprayed for bugs while we were there and the next day had two small roaches in the kitchen sink. No elevator was a bummer too since we were upstairs. Staff was friendly and walking to Lahaina only a couple of blocks. I would probably stay here again. Price was right.

We stayed at Aina Nalu for two nights this week. The staff was delightful and treated us so nicely! The room was beautiful, clean, and cozy. We loved our stay and would consider staying there again, since the staff was so lovely. Only downsides as people have said are the insane cleaning fee and parking. I understand paying for parking at a hotel, but $100 for two nights' stay cleaning fee is just plain outrageous. I'd much rather just pay for this in the reservation when I book it, so that I k... This is a condo hotel....Outrigger manages most of the units. I have been there twice so yes I would recommend it for it's value and sense of place. The Outrigger units were renovated three or so years ago. It was professionally done. Overall this hotel was very good. We booked through Outrigger, but I don't think they own all the units. Some appear to be privately owned, as you can find them advertised on some travel sites by the owner. There are a lot of good things about this hotel and a few negatives, so I'll try to list them here. As noted by other reviewers this is a condo hotel, so much better than just a motel room. We had laundry in room, good sized kitchen. Really helps so that you don't need to eat out for al... Read more

This condo was the perfect place for our family. We stayed in G-101, which I recommend because of its close access from the parking lot. It was great for our family of five. We were close enough to walk to town and enjoy the shops and restaurants and sunsets. The grounds are clean, and the pools are beautiful. We were able to park our rental car on the street, which is free, six out of the seven days of our stay. It's a great central location and a quick drive to the beaches. Our favorite was Ka... I requested a room with double beds since we had two kids with us. I called ahead and was told that it had to be requested in advance. I am requesting now, before I even fly out there! One block back from the main. hub of Lahaina well situated for all your needs. Catching a boat, hiring a car , food etc. We only got a small studio but it was clean, had air con , had a ceiling fan when the air con gets to noisy in the still of night. Staff very pleasant and willing to answer any questions. Nice relaxing swimming pools. If you hire a car try and get street parking because thy charge you $17.00 /night when the carpark is empty you'll know why.

A last minute cancelation of the event we were going to attend on Maui sent us into a scramble to find hotel accommodations. Fortunately, we found Aina Nalu in wonderful Lahaina. After a late night arrival, a long wait at the car rental agency, and the drive on dark, unfamiliar roads, the Aina Nalu was a welcome port. TL;DR: If you want to be staying in the authentic Lahaina, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Aina Nalu So the long version; for a Brit this isn't a hotel. In fact I dont think I've come across the equivalent of this outside the US; in the UK (or anywhere else). It would be nice to get maid service while we are there so we don't have to spend time cleaning up and can get out and about more, but we still really like having the washer and dryer and all of the amenities of home.
