"Our stay at this hotel met all our expectations. Hotel was centrally located, shops nearby within walking distance. Room was clean and kitchen well stocked. Coffee maker needed to be replaced but Starbucks was nearby. Appreciated the separate bedroom for our party of three. Concierge and front desk staff helpful and made us feel right at home. Loved the overall atmosphere of how Hawaii used to be--we didn't want to stay in a high rise, we didn't need a golf course nor spa services. The grounds are beautiful and we loved our walk through the field to the beach everyday. Very relaxing and very good value."

"Stayed Jan 8-14. Desk staff very friendly. Suit had been partialy up graded. It looked modern, inviting and livable.Property was well mainained and quiet except for busy street at one side of property. Very nice pool areas Near beach and convenient to shopping, hiking,kyaking,beeaches/snokeling. The kitchen appliances were old
but usable. Inside cupboards were ok where dishes sat but the rest were not useable for dishes or food. House keeping did ok with cleaning but we did have to ask for towels, soap ect. everyday except the last day.

"I'm pretty particular when it comes to hotels. I've grown up staying in the upper tier of hotels. I was skeptical about this place given I live on the island and this place I know has been around for years however, I was pleasantly surprised. The property is quiet and cozy and feels more like an apartment complex. The pool was clean: both the water and the pool area. The room was great with some obvious revonations (not dated looking, new carpets and countertops). Staff was friendly and helpful. My only three complaints: the stove in the unit I had was ancient...like I'm talking I haven't seen a range/oven that old since the house I grew up in! smalll complaint...limited amount and variety of dishes and utensils.... another complaint is the cheap AC...they use one AC unit but Mcguivered it so that air from the AC blows into the bedroom AND other living areas...I don't think the AC capacity was up to par and resulted in the thermostat being set at 60 degrees and the coolest it ever got was 74...it was a hot weekend...

oh and the location is great...close to grocery stores and centrally located

minor complaints: no guest parking...my guests had notices on their vehicles, difficulty logging into wireless internet
