We travelled with two couples and would like to provide some tips and observations that did not sufficiently answer our questions from previous reviews. 1. The condo was located by turning right down the last turn before leaving the Kona such, it was in a very quiet location near the Sheraton resort and a beautiful bay and dock. We recommend having a car to access the island more effectively from here. 2. Our condo was large with over 1400 sq. ft., and was in a bi-level configurat... Read more

Everything from our condo location (Bldg. 5 Unit #33) to the staff was superior, the best time share experience I've had in my 6 years of ownership in TPI. The staff, Cindy, Howard and Chelsey (with Expedia) go out of their way to ensure your stay is enjoyable. The location is perfect as well, so glad I did not choose a resort downtown, I would not have experienced all the beautiful scenery and wonderful plumeria flower fragrance in the air. From other reviews I've read people complained abou... Read more

This resort was wonderful, it is located in a quiet area close enough to Kona but peaceful and serene. The staff was most helpful to five friends on holiday! The unit was large and well organized and met the needs of five women. We were overlooking the golf course and could see the ocean from the second floor. We liked being advised of local restaurants and tour companies that were excellent as well. We were provided with a discount card that gave us a 10%+ discount at local establishments ... Read more

We had a two bedroom that was quite large and well maintained. Very nearby was a small harbor that offered a local uncomplicated restaurant, boat launch ramp and rental boats. Maybe a mile and a half was a small shopping center with supermarket and additional shops to satisfy most needs. Center of town is 7 miles with enough bars and concessions to satisfy the 20/30 somethings with their needs. Drove through didn't stop. Parking is available but you will need to learn how and where to get it don... Read more

This is going to be a brutally honest review. Trip Advisor users expect nothing less. The employees here, from the front office, housekeeping and maintenance are fantastic. They are friendly, welcoming, happy, efficient and work to provide the best possible service to each and every guest! Thank you to all employees! On Saturday, they provided small breakfast choices as they gave an excellent briefing led by an Expedia representative and reps from local attractions, to explain several attracti... Read more

1st room was dirty. Musty, pee on the toilet, hair everywhere, coffee grounds in the kitchen. 2nd room had bugs! Ants crawling on the ceiling and by bedroom window and dead cockroaches. I know this is a tropical island, but I've visited 4 times and never had this before. It was very disappointing. We left the next day and went to a much cleaner resort.

We are timeshare owners and chose to stay at this property for our 10 day trip to the Big Island. Most of our experience there was extremely good and without complaint. So let's look at the good. We had a 2 bedroom condo layout. We loved having the bedrooms on the bottom floor with the living are and kitchen on the top floor. Wide open layout with a decently stocked kitchen. Our view of the golf course and ocean beyond was excellent. The AC units were a bit difficult to figure out, but on... Read more

Stayed at unit 4 on 6/26-7/3. Every time you turn off the lights, Roaches come out in the kitchen. Then at the front entrance, they come in somehow scares the crap out of you when you come out of your bedrooms. These are two stories condos with bedrooms downstairs with living room, kitchen and one bathroom upstairs. Kitchen and bathroom needs updating. Cabinets are pretty disgusting, sticky with caked in food or something. One other issue was the bedsheets, It's one size too small so when you... Read more

This was our family of 5's first trip to The Big Island and we could not have been happier with the accommodations. Our unit had 2 floors, 3 bathrooms, and a spacious kitchen and eating area, as well as a seating area upstairs that had a pull out couch. The supermarket was roughly 2 miles away. Next door is the Sheraton hotel which has a restaurant called Rays on the Bay where you can walk over and see the stingrays feed around 9pm each night. When we walked over, all we could say to each oth... Read more

We were staying with two teenagers in two bedroom condo and it was spacious enough and kitchen had all we needed for cooking. Garden was so beautiful with all flowers and pools. There was several small clean and well maintained swimming pools. We would definately go back to this resort!

The location was tricky arriving after dark but the desk was very helpful and stayed on the phone to direct us, we should have been better prepared but they were very kind, our first visit to the Big Island and we had no knowledge of what turned out to be simple roads! The property is quiet, very beautiful landscaping, lava water features are lovely! We are checking out this morning for Oahu, and are sad to go. The pool was nice, and not over used, the kitchen was well equipped or cooking at ho... Read more

We stayed here for five nights and I can speak positively of our stay. First and foremost, the grounds are immaculate. You feel like you're in Hawaii as you walk through the hotel property. The parking is centrally located in a covered garage - so you always have a cool car to get into, however, the walk to our room was a distance but the beautiful floral, trees and plants made it a pleasant walk. After we checked in and drove to the parking garage, a person in a golf cart greeted us at our car ... Read more
