"My hunsband and I went on our honeymoon and we just loved everything about our trip. Kona was wonderfull and the people are just amazing and alwasy smiling. The staff were super friendly and alwasy had a smile on their face and ready to help you with anything. I loved everything about the breakfast it was worth waking up for, but the only problem is they use bacon grease in their breakfast potatoes. Now I dont eat any pork items and I notied the bacon their and didnt eat them after that, but I have met people who were vegetarians and vegans, I told the chef and thought it would be fixed but it wasnt. I noticed bacon bits the whole 2 weeks i was there. Other than that the place is wonderful and I would love to go back there and stay at the Sheraton."

"My boyfriend and I just returned from our stay at the Sheraton and we had a wonderful time! The staff were always very friendly, the hotel was clean and in a great location for us to explore the rest of the island from there. We look forward to coming back and would definitely stay here again. Rays on the Bay was great and we enjoyed heading into town for other dinners! The gym was very nice, great breakfast with a large selection to choose from. Beautiful grounds! Amazing trip.

"The Sheraton supposedly had a refurbishment in last couple years but it was hard to find where the improvements were. Hallways were noisy with slamming doors and staff carts pulled over rough floor.

The daily breakfast included in our package was a disappointment with poor selection that did not change very much from day to day.

My wife and i were trapped in an elevator for about 10 minutes and then that elevator to our wing was not repaired for 3 days and to top off that the ice machine in our wing was not working. The housekeeper said it had been broke for weeks.
The weather at Kona was great. I will not return to this Sheraton at Kona."

"Our time at this resort was wonderful - from the friendly staff, to the dependable internet, to the great facilities - everything was great. Good location, easy parking on site, Rays on the Bay restaurant very nice for dinner or just drinks - great entertainment.
I read some of the negative comments about this place before coming, and can truthfully say we experienced none of the things people complained about. We were especially impressed with the consistent friendliness of each staff member we encountered. The gentleman at the front desk was very helpful helping us resolve a travel-related problem.
We would visit this resort again and recommend it to our friends."

"We enjoyed the week at the Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort. Overall a good experience and my son loved the water slide. There is no beach which was
disappointing. There was a beautiful ocean view but sharp lava rocks surrounding
the resort. I wasn't impressed with the choice of restaurants. One was closed for
remodeling and the other one was fine dining. So the only other option was the beach bar food or room service. I would recommend adding some restaurant for families. We had to go out (with a rental car) for all meals. There were some ants in the room and around the pool. Probably due to the tropical climate.

"The trip was wonderful!! We absolutely loved the hotel and the access to so many amenities. The downsides were that when we checked in we had one King bed with an ocean view and three people. They changed the room to two queen beds which was good, but our view changed to the top of the slide and a lifeguard. I would not recommend the fried items like calamari as they were often undercooked and overpriced. The hotel staff was all about aloha, the housekeeping staff was fantastic, we never went without. Overall I have to say that we would definitely be returning."
