"This was our second trip to Maui and staying at the Seaside. If you are looking for comfortable, layed back Hawaian style then this is your place. If you want fancy, expensive spa treatment this is not your place. Rooms are spacious, beds comfortable. Housekeeping do their job well and are friendly. This place is very clean, well attended landscaping and pool. This is centraly located, 3blocks to the mall and bus lines. The swap meet is on Sat. and 3 blocks from the hotel. Farmers market also by the mall. Highly recommend the Haleakala cental Maui and Iao Valley tour. The van picks you up at the hotel lobby around 8am and returns you to the hotel lobby around 3:30. The volcano is amazing and the this comfortable, air conditioned van ride through the valley. Ask for Henry to be your driver he gives a historic, and knowledegable history of Maui as he is a native. This is affordable hotel for a layed back vacation. We could afford to stay at one of the resorts but we like it here and will be going for a third stay next May."

"The Maui Seaside Hotel is not a resort but a decent clean hotel. The rooms were a little dated but clean and adequate. We appreciated having WiFi in our rooms. It would have been nice to have had access to a hot tub after a day of touring. We were glad we included breakfast in our booking. The food and service were excellent."

"Hotel was very clean and staff friendly.
Older Motel style place but refreshed. Internet was poor, wasn't able to connect from room. Rented a car to get around the island and never spent much time at the hotel's beach or pool. Grounds well maintained. Excellent restaurant at the place, close to shopping.

"Found out that u should book the Maui Seaside Hotel seperate not a pkg. found out by word that they charge more for brkfast when you do a pkg. deal. Our cleaning lady was very nice as well as our watierses ( we ever got a huge from one of them and she wants us to come back nxt yr.,very sweet lady) our front desk was friendly but thought they should stop talking and wait on customers faster. I did enjoy our stay. I liked the location,would stay again. Would have like it if the restraunt would be open at least 6:30 so we could start our day earlier. $5 for parking with security. I thought they should change the paper your spose to keep on your dashboard of ur car to a hang from ur review mirrow,since it so windy. A couple times i had to run after the parking paper. Ruby's by the Queen Mall was a good place to eat. We ate there twice. Yum,pineapple burger. :)"
