From our arrival to departure, 4 days later, we had a truly great time. The staffwas terrific. The room was wonderful and we continually enjoyed the seaside/marina vista. I noticed a comment about showing her age. I only hope I age as well as Hawaii Prince. Bautiful place!

I felt so taken care of at the Hawaii Prince, I stayed there a little over a week and it was such a lovely time! They make sure to make you feel at home, they stock your fridge with water daily, greet you with a resort package that includes nice toiletries and a reusable shopping bag which came in very handy! The staff was lovely, helpful and very friendly. The one thing I would say could use improvement is the hallways are not air conditioned, it wasn't that huge of an issue as the rooms cool d... Lovely hotel well located near large shopping mall and walking distance to Waikiki. Shuttle service available after lunch for those who don't want to walk and a cab/taxi will only cost you @$8. Friendly staff and there's restaurants nearby and plenty of places to walk as well.

This hotel has great potential to be a super hotel and needs a thorough revamp from the inside out. The location is fantastic. Exactly between the Mall, golf course and the beach...all within walking distance. Best part is that it has a shuttle to take you all around Waikiki if you dont want to walk. We stayed in a 2 room suite and it was right at the top of the tower that we literally had a bird's eye view of the ocean and the beach. The suites were decent, clean with all the amenities. This place is beautiful! Lobby, rooms, and restaurants look clean and modern.. Our view was spectacular!! The room was spacious and the bathroom wonderful.. Food at buffet restaurant- delicious. The location is very convenient and easy to walk to beach. I would stay here again, though it is not a bargain hotel.

Hawaii Prince Hotel Waikiki is very well located: only few steps from Ala Moana shopping mall and from Kahanamoku Beach. Resort fee quite expensive, 31,41$ per day, includes self parking in a near parking lot with direct, handy access from the hotel Our room, ocean view, was number 1106, pretty large and with a roomy bathroom where wc and shower separated from bathtub and washbasin. Despite being a little dated it has everything you need. There is a great floor-to-ceiling window so it's possible... Read more

We stayed here for our 4th of July weekend and husband's birthday. It was great experience coz our room has the perfect view for the fireworks (1911). We've paid for kamaiiana rate discount for 3 days stay which includes 2 free breakfast buffet and 1 dinner Buffet. That's really a good deal. Our room is ok and pool has a decent size. The only draw back we experience is when my husband inquire if we can late check out so the front desk staff said its ok with no extra charge but when I've checked... Read more

Very nice hotel, big room, lovely harbour view... all in all we had a lovely stay until it came to checking out and were advised we had to pay a "resort fee" of US$31.41! We were only there for 12 hours as we stayed here the night before our flight home. We were not impressed I can tell you. At no point during our online booking and at the time of check in were we informed this fee would be applicable. We stayed in many resorts on our Hawaiian holiday, and none charged a "resort fee". We took this room unseen for one night booking through Hotwire as a 4 star hotel. The hotel is a bland high rise building at the west end of Waikiki where skyscraper hotels predominate. It was 4 star prices but not 4 star value. Our 8th room was small with scuffed woodwork. There was a nice view over the harbour and towards the west. The marble bathroom was almost as big as the bedroom, with separate shower and bath and a Japanese toilet. It took a visit by the tech man to get the wi fi ... Read more

Stayed one night before our cruise and thankfully it was only one night!! The lobby was under construction. The floor we were on was ragged at best and had a strange smell. The room was clean but worn with the shower smelling musty. Loved the view!! For me, in hindsight we should have picked a cheaper hotel since we were only there one night.

My husband and I spent two nights at this hotel as part of an escorted tour of Hawaii. These are very nice accomodations. Our window faced the harbor and the view very scenic. We were given coupons for our breakfasts. A very sumptuous breakfast with a wide variety of offerings suitable for anyone. The hotel was close to other restaurants for evening meals. I believe we ate at Outback Steak House which was just around the corner. Luggage delivered in a very prompt manner by courteou... Read more

Location is great and great views from the rooms especially the higher your room. The hotel is being refurbished so there is some disruption. It needs a good makeover and some of the plumbing is suspect. Lets hope the refurbishment addresses these issues.

Prince resort is a place where you can have a sort of privacy, yet, enjoy the luxury settings close to the ocean and Waikiki area. Our room was clean & elegant with a splendid view of the ocean & full of sea breeze.

The Hawaii Prince was undergoing renovations during my stay. Management were doing their best to keep the disruption to a minimum, but it meant no ground floor restaurant or bar. The rooms are also being renovated. My room had a great view of Ala Moana beach. The room was clean and comfortable, but in need of renovating. The housekeeping staff are great as are the front desk staff. Easy walk to Waikiki beaches and restaurants, or catch the bus or trolley. Also an easy walk to Ala Moana mall.

The rooms are super quiet. I don't hear people going in and out of rooms..I don't hear my neighbors next door. The beds are super comfortable. I slept very well last night. We are within walking distance of the ala moana shopping center & across the street from McDonalds. There is an Outback Steakhouse very close by. The room is super clean, pretty spacious & we have a great view from the 29th floor. There is a small gym onsite. It is a little dated but, I was glad to have access to a gym.

Visited in May 2015 clean tidy hotel. Good service and small gym with just enough equipment. Spa facilities are excellent. Pool area could be better equipped. Restaurants in the hotel are quite expensive but the food is good. Excellent location, far enough from the noise of Waikiki beach and there is a bus nearby that drops you to the beach every 15 mins. The hotel is also 5 mins away from the main shopping mall with its designer shops and eateries. Would definitely recommend.

Our room was spacious with a wonderful view of Waikiki Yacht Club and surfers and boats of all kinds. The staff seemed very welcoming and friendly. We did a staycation here at the Prince. Currently they are under renovation but they are doing a great job of making sure their guests are taken cared of. They have beautiful white curtains draped around the construction so you hardly see it. Our room was BEAUTIFUL. There was a living area with a beautiful, panoramic view of the harbor. We also had a separate bedroom with comfortable beds. The bathroom had a walk-in shower and a tub to soak. They have L'Occitane products and enjoyed trying... Read more

As Waikiki lost it's last bit of Hawaiian charm (The international Market Place) I am just over the Rodeo Drive style shops and chain restaurants. So know I am finding myself in the back streets of China town an Ala moana trying new place with some exciting finds and this is just a short walk from the Prince. From the door staff to the cleaners all the staff are extremely friendly and helpful, my room had a great view of the harbor. Looking forward to coming back.

The rooms and view are great. The bathroom is high tech and has a great toilet (no kidding). There is construction going on right now but with little inconvenience other than restricts the size of the main restaraunt. No bech but the view over the marina to the ocean makes up for it. Only real drawback is no bar but there are several just down the waterfront and on the main shopping drag. Did I mention the great location! Will stay here again.

We stayed 4 nights, 3 of which were as part of a tour group. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations that are scheduled to be finished in December 2016, but this really didn't affect us in a negative way. We stayed here the night before our cruise after our arrival in Hawaii. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations and is not at its best in the lobby area. Provides a more ultimate view of the harbor/ocean.
