"The Sheraton is a great hotel. The only thing I would comment unfavorably on is the fact that it's not quiet. RumFire (which is AWESOME) has live music until 8pm, and then a DJ until 9:30-10pm. We were on the 14th floor on a side that doesn't face RumFire, and we could still here it. In the morning, there were lots of little kids running around in the halls. There seemed to be an abnormally large amount of mothers with crying infants, too. However, if you keep regular hours, this won't be a problem.

RumFire really was amazing. Small menu, but great food and drinks (try the Dragonfire Cooler, my favorite I found!), and the music is good. It's right next to the pool deck and can get windy outside, so tie your hair back if it's long.

The little shops down stairs are pretty neat, and Lawson Station is like a half-Japanese version of a 7-11.

The breakfast buffet at the Kai Market is FABULOUS. When I booked the trip. it gave me free breakfast for 2 every morning of our seven-night stay. It's $30/person otherwise, which I think is a little over priced. However, the food is really amazing. Made-to-order egg stations (regular and omelette), fresh breads, fruits, pastries, and hot choices like sausage, pancakes (3 kinds!), miso soup, a yogurt bar, potatoes, even breakfast mac n' cheese. A very tasty and wide selection.

I would definitely stay here again."

"We just returned from the Sheraton Waikiki where we stayed for 7 nights. Great hotel - very clean, modern, and LARGE. We chose a partial ocean view room and they upgraded us to a full ocean view but it had 2 twin beds (and we wanted a king). None were available so we stayed one night in the Twin Bed Full Ocean view. Being in the 28th floor, the ocean seemed to come right under the hotel and without a single bed, the room felt cramped.

The next day they moved us to the new room with 1 king bed and partial ocean - which was much much better! This one was on the 29th floor (our of 30). The city and mountains were beautiful and we still have PLENTY of ocean view, including a marina (in the distance).

Staff was very very helpful and met all our expectations. Location is great - can walk to any number of stores or restaurants if you don't like what is offered at the Sheraton.
