As a Travel Agent, I stay in many hotels. I carefully chose this hotel for my visit to Honolulu before boarding my cruise. We spent two fabulous nights at the Sheraton with the most beautiful infinity pool, great food, wonderful accommodations, fun boutique shops, and NEVER a wait for an elevator even though it was a big hotel. Push the button and within seconds the elevator was there! Excellent location to the airport, cruise port and attractions! Wonderful restaurants and shops within wa... Read more

We spent spring break in Waikiki with multiple families for a high school sporting event taking place on the island. The Sheraton is on the water and central to everything. The Sheraton has great shops downstairs and is across the street from many of the best places to eat from casual to fancy. We enjoyed the club level at the Sheraton, as it included breakfast, snacks, afternoon appetizers and drinks. It was worth it for us to have this included in our stay. We were on the 22nd floor and h... Read more

Enjoyed the stay here very much. Partial view was good for the price. A lot of good places to eat within walking distance. More shopping than can be seen all around this hotel. We only saw a small part of the shopping area as we were at the hotel only in the evenings. Would stay here again.

A little City within the City, the Sheraton offers a great breakfast buffet at Kai Market, lunch within a block, and Nights looking out to the ocean from the Rimfire Bar. Prices are on the high side, but then again, you're in the heart of Waikiki.

The service here is by far the best in Waikiki. I was here for a company incentive trip with 1000 other colleagues for a 20 days stay. The staffs were very helpful till the extend they brought us around after their shifts were over. The breakfast in Sheraton is to die for. Last but not least, we really enjoyed the aqua exercise by the infinity pool.

First of all, I have to say that every employee we came in contact with was extremely pleasant. From the front desk to the concierge to the pool people and especially the housekeeper up on the 20th floor. Anyway, the infinity pool is just as wonderful as people expressed. It is amazing. We didn't use the other pool as it was always crowded. The lobby also was crowded with people all around. The views of Diamond Head and the Ocean are to die for. Hotel has a wonderful view as well as beautiful pools. Food was fair. Certainly nothing to write home about. Hotel room was good. Bedding was clean and mattress was firm. The veranda was nice to sit out on and view the ocean and look down at the infinity pool and see the turtles and manterays swimming in the water.

We stayed 4 nights at the Sheraton with a 4 and 6 year old. I would absolutely recommend for families with kids as the pool is the best in Waikiki and has a waterslide ( tip - kids under 4 feet can't use unless they have their own float ives or they buy some really expensive ones at the pool shop) Some tips for future travellers 1) some of the cultural activities are done really well. Hula lessons and cocktail and painting were great 2) absolutely eat at il lupino out the front of the hotel 3... Read more

The beds were super comfy. The buffet bfast was good but not worth the money. For families I would go somewhere else or grab bfast sandwiches from the Petes coffee downstairs. Stayed here for 3 nights before heading to the big island. This is a great hotel if you want to be in the centre of Waikiki, walking distance to all the restaurants and short taxi or bus ride to Ala Moana Centre. Hotel is huge, with shops in the hotel and the ever improbably ABC store just outside. Rooms are a little tired but big and spacious. This hotel is not what I expected for the price tag - over AUD $700 a night. The rooms are small, old and dated; as if they hadn't been touched since the 70's. And the walls are so thin you can here what your neighbours are watching on TV. The beds were uncomfortable and the pillows flat and too soft. The lobby area is a madhouse since it's open for anyone and everyone to walk through. The bottom of the hotel is like a shopping mall. The only redeeming part of this hotel is the infinity pool... From the moment we arrived valet staff was great- super friendly. At check in we had two rooms and asked about a deal on the Leahi club. Due to a last min convention in town they asked if we would like to trade the two rooms for the presidential suite, the Leahi Club and no resort fee. We said YES. It was amazing. a two bedroom suite- two full bathrooms- large living area and three different balconies facing the beach The Leahi Club is worth the extra $$ ( that we were planning on paying anyway)... I was pleasantly surprised with how much I loved this place. After researching many hotels in the area I am glad we decided on the Sheraton. The location is perfect, centrally located and an easy short walk to shops, restaurants, the mall, and Waikiki beach. It definitely is a busy hotel, but that is to be expected if you stay here. We stayed in an Ocean Front room on the 22nd floor facing diamond head, which I highly recommend. The view was pretty amazing. The infinity pool is wonderful. I reco... Read more

The hotel itself was very nice and clean with lots of nice shops in the lobby. Although it was very busy, it was well managed by having lots of elevators and staff. The staff at the Sheraton Waikiki were thoughtful throughout our stay. Checking in was a breeze and again the staff were very helpful. The Concierge desk was amazing as well. We wanted a Thai restaurant, the concierge recommended one that was within walking distance. She called and booked the reservation for us. On our way back through, she inquired as to how we enjoy Noi. When we checked out early because of a day trip, staff had no issues keeping our luggage secure while we went on the t... Read more

Just returned from 8 days at the Sheraton Waikiki Beach (14-21 July 16) this was our second time at this resort, and took two of our 13 year old grand kids. I must first say the resort is beautiful and the scenery is the best on the beach, overlooking famous Waikiki Beach and Diamond Head. This time we had an oceanfront room on the 10th floor overlooking the adult only infinity pool, great view. There is plenty to do here for family with kids, and the night life is always fun with a live band mo... Read more
