"We went with 2 other couples and a great time. Loved our room and the service. Happy Hour makes it better (Happy hour food and drink prices). Buffett breakfast was good. With the price especially if you look to buy a la cart at other restaurants will put you in the poor house. The beach was good and the view of Diamond Head is PRICELESS. Was there June 5 to 12, 2012 would return to the Outrigger Reef on a heartbeat. Plans in works to return next yea. As for time share people just say no and stay away from them. My whole group had no problem with them."

"Our 40th Honeymoon started June 5, 2012. Very pleasant location and staff. Had a room on the 17th floor in the Pacific tower. Just 3 unit from the City view rooms. Very large rooms, clean and a good size patio. Was a part-ocean view. Not able to see Diamond Head still enjoy view. For the ones that had complaints about street noise. I did not have problem but remember you are in a city and some noise comes with that. If you want very quiet leave Waikiki and go to the north shore country. Night noise found none. The Pool bar stopped the band 9pm. You can listen to the music from your patio. The View from the Song Bird is priceless. Always check if there is a drink special. You can not go wrong with the Happy hour cocktails. The beach is just out the back door. Beach was clean and well attended. The free wedding vow service was nice. The cost of the photos were very high ( $75/photo or $ 240 for the package). The internet needs help, but they are working on it. Either had a very hard time getting on line or just could not get on even very late or very early each day. Would I stay again, bet your life. We were there with 3 couples and we all loved the place. The Reef is a beautiful place giving you the feel of Hawaii. As for the timeshare people they did not bother any of us. Don't complaint about parking fees, they are every where, it's a part of the cost of renting/parking the car. If you have choice get a room towards the beach on both towers. If you want a nice and quiet hotel the Reef is for you. If you are younger and want more action, music and bar life the Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach is the choice you have to pick.Which also had the better breakfast buffet. We had family stay there and we would use either hotel. Aloha"
