Just enjoyed a pleasant 2 night stay at the hotel. We had a King size room at the end of the building which included a bigger than usual wet room. The decor of the room was modern, very clean and had a balcony overlooking the pool area. Location wise, it is close to the main shopping areas but a little bit longer to the beach, if that's what you are wanting. Yes, it's noisy but Waikiki is hustle and bustle so you get used to that. Check in and out staff were all very friendly and polite. On... Read more

Every Marriott property I visited is always OUTSTANDING. Rooms are nice, reasonable prices, and the staff is more than friendly! I'm a Marriott customer whenever and wherever I can. This property is a short walk from the beach. Parking was $37.00 per night but 1/2 block down the road you could park for $7.00. Live and learn!

First time at this property while in Oahu on business.I would say I was a little disappointed with the lack of amendaties and the small size of the room. Probably one of the smallest I ever stayed in. I stay at Marriott properties a lot as I travel and I would safely say this property was not up to par to what I feel are to Marriotts standards. The room was clean and recently updated to a modern decor but it feels like it still could still use some more serious work. Bathroom was extremely small... Read more

We stayed here last October for a week as well. The rooms are fine, clean and clutter free, however last October was renovations so extremely loud, and the street side is always that way. A few things. . . It is about 2 blocks from some of the most high-end shopping anywhere I've seen, so location is great. Don't get the penthouse unless you are having a family reunion or kegger on the deck. It looks impressive upon entry. The kitchen was beautiful and nicely redone. We really had no need f... Read more

I just wanted to drop a line concerning a group of professionals who helped me during a very bad couple of days. I arrived at your hotel on 22 May 2016 around 1030PM. After a 26 hour travel time due to my airline having mechanical difficulties and creating a very, very long day of travel from Maryland, USA. I arrived with no luggage and no personal items such as a toothbrush and shaving kit. The front desk person greeted me a smile and great disposition. I think her name was "Dylan", but I'... Read more

We booked a room last minute for the day, after getting off of a cruise ship, as our flight didn't leave Hawaii until 9 pm that evening. We wanted a place to store our luggage and a shower later in the day, prior to the ten hour flight ahead of us. The small sized room included a mini-fridge, a dark closet sized shower, no tub, and a balcony for one. The pool provided a nice relaxing place to hang out. The Courtyard by Marriott in Waikiki Beach was amazing! The customer service was top notch! The front desk made checking in and out a breeze. They were very attentive to our needs and couldn't have been friendlier on arrival. We were on the 15th floor, one bedroom sweet with ocean view! The street is a bit noisy, but since we were on a higher level, it wasn't bad. The location of the hotel is perfect! Walking distance to shopping, restaurants, and, most importantly, the beach! The renovated rooms were stunning. The hotel was in the heart of Waikiki, which made it in good proximity to all the attractions that were going on. Most of all I was very pleased with Keonaona Salis whom is the Corporate Sales Manager. This hotel is a clean property with a friendly, professional staff, but the rooms were a little outdated and small, and if you get one of the rooms that face Kuhio Ave be prepared for pretty much constant traffic noise. I stay at the Courtyard often while on business. I'd give it six stars if I could. The front desk team is fantastic! They provide friendly, professional service and always go out of their way to smile and say hello. Larissa is AMAZING! Best customer service I've ever experienced. I've stayed at handfuls of other Marriott properties, but because of the friendliness and top notch customer service, the Courtyard Marriott Waikiki is my hands down favorite.

Victoria and her team are AMAZING! They went above and beyond for my husband and I. We were celebrating our 10 year anniversary and they made our stay special and memorable. When we checked-in, our room was decorated and had a list of things we should do or see during our stay. My favorite thing was the picture frame of our daughter on the night stand. That made my heart melt, so thoughtful. We weren't able to bring our daughter on this trip, so that was such a nice thing to see every morning. ... Read more

The purpose of our stay was to hit some of the sites close by, before heading to the west side of the island to our Marriott Timeshare. Check in, check out, along with all other experiences with front desk were amazing. I have stayed at this hotel the same week every year for the past five years (plus a couple of other times). There always seems to be an issue with my room. "Upgrading" me to two doubles is not an option when my profile is a king. The solution was to put me in the second floor facing the bus stop- not. Oahu sadly lacks any business class hotels. Plus, I like the points. However, if I were on vacation or even using Marriott rewards to stay here, I wouldn't recomend it. We spent 4 days in Honolulu. Because of price/value balance, this hotel was amazing. It was soo near to any attraction point in Honolulu. It takes 2-3 min to walk to Waikiki Beach. There is an IHop just across the street. The only thing that is negative was hotel's street could be full of drunk people at midnight, when they sing or shout or laugh it could be really difficult to sleep. Have to say was very disappointed with how small the standard room is. Not sure if this is the norm in Hawaii though. At least the bed is very comfortable though I wish hotels would just have king beds as standard instead of these tiny double or Queens. Road noise is really bad if you are on the street side so beware. Pool is also quite small but nice. Only issue is only 10 loungers to fight over. There is enough room so how about a few more management. 2 families camped out can hog them all. O... Read more

Nice location if you have to be in Waikiki. Close to transportation, restaurants and not too far from the beach. Nice, accommodating staff. The coffee joint in the lobby is good, but steer clear of the bar unless you like cheap booze. Try to get an upper level room, if possible, as the street noise can be pretty loud.

I cannot believe Mariott is willing to put their name on this hotel. It is aging and dated with unclean rooms, gross bed linens and dark dingy bathrooms: and that is the "deluxe" room. There is a main tower and then a separate tower across the street. The separate tower is accessed via an elevator off a dark parking lot down a dark poorly lit corridor. I was seriously afraid to go to my room each night. Just despicable. Who cares that the front desk staff were nice. I just can't believe people a... Read more

If you plan on staying in your room, then maybe not a great hotel...the rooms are barely enough for two people with luggage. Space is tight. With that said, who is staying in their room in Hawaii? Not me! What I like: The rooms were clean, location is smack in the middle of Waikiki so walking to shops, restaurants etc. The hotel is clean, the air conditioner worked really well, something you may take for granted. The Courtyard is a hidden gem in Waikiki. Just a block off the main drag, the hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Waikiki. What's best is you don't have to deal with the congestion of Kalakaua Avenue traffic. I stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms which was lovely. I was pleasantly surprised by this Courtyard Waikiki Beach. The lobby was very welcoming and the staff efficient. They have a bar area as well as coffee shop. The rooms were nice and very clean. The bathroom room sink and shower area is a bit small but overall size of the bathroom was nice. The hotel is situated in a nice area close to many of Waikiki's attractions. The only thing - the front of the hotel and valet are on different streets - just pay attention to that if you have a rental car.

Its main usage should be a sofa, not a bed. Well I realize that I did not fully understand the description for t... Read more

We stay here all the time. Best to ask for a room on "the quiet side" over looking the pool. The other side has suites, but is also on a noisy street. Service is great, right in the middle of it all, at a real good price.

Good location within easy walking distance to beach, shopping and the trolley. We stayed 2 nights before setting off on our 7 night cruise around the islands and then 2 more nights after the cruise was complete. Rooms were comfortable and nice. The biggest inconvenience was that 2 of the 3 washing machines in the guest laundry were out of service. This caused us to spend extra time that wouldn't have ordinarily been necessary. Staff was friendly and service was usually quick.

I stayed here for 2 nights and I think the location is great. I didn't rent a car and everything is in walking distance. The rooms are comfortable as I was located on the higher floor with a balcony. Note that this hotel do not charge resort fees, which is a big plus for me. Valet is charged, although you don't really need a car in Honolulu. The only complaint I have is that the walls are a bit thin. Otherwise, everything was great for me. No breakfast provided, although plenty of choices aroun... Read more

The room was just ok. Nothing wrong with it but nothing stood out as above average. Most people wouldn't concern themselves too much about their room if they are spending as much time as possible outside in this beautiful island. Thank goodness we got out as much as possible. The gift shop was a poor excuse for a gift shop. Couldn't buy toiletries or snacks. they sold musical instruments and Asian supplements. Weird combination! I called the front desk for a courtesy toiletry kit. They said, "... Read more

I am surprised I haven??t received a survey request from Marriott from my last stay. I??ve been waiting for an after stay survey to express my dissatisfaction with my family stay in Courtyard Waikiki Beach. We stayed in this hotel from 27 July to 2 August. My satisfaction level for the hotel was nothing to write home about. The hotel site said there was a kitchenette on in the rooms, there was none. I can list a whole page of things that was wrong with the hotel but will only stay with the fol... Read more

If you're looking for a nice clean hotel and don't mind not having a resort atmosphere then this hotel is for you. My only druthers is that Ibooked a corner 1 bedroom suite based upon the pictures I saw on the website & what I got was a long narrow suite (room 758) which looked across directly into another apartment complex window. On the website I also had a confirmed complimentary continental breakfast for 2 & I asked about it when I checked in & the desk clerk said their computer didn't sh... Read more

I went to the Marriott app and was able to get a great rate on short notice which included a discount for reward members. Although I was unable to check in on the app (probably due to late booking status), I was greeted warmly, and checked in efficiently by the front desk staff. The next day, our keys would not work, and we thought it was due to checking out status for that day, but the front desk made new keys, and sent a technician to meet us at the room, as she indicated the keys still show... My family really injoyed this hotel. Very clean and neat. And the coffee shop is AMAZING! Right in the center of everything. Can't wait to vacation here again. Comfortable beds, rooms are alittle tight, little closet space but it was manageable for a family of 3.

I booked this hotel at the last minute. And did not realize that in order to stay here you have to pay $39.00 dollars to park your car. Seriously that is a little much. So please check that. When I checked in the front desk staff was pleasant. The rooms are very very small compared to other courtyards I have stayed. If you are a tall or chubby person you might have trouble in the shower. It was pretty small and shower head low. Even though the room was small. It was very clean and neat. It had ... Read more
