Just enjoyed a pleasant 2 night stay at the hotel. We had a King size room at the end of the building which included a bigger than usual wet room. The decor of the room was modern, very clean and had a balcony overlooking the pool area. Location wise, it is close to the main shopping areas but a little bit longer to the beach, if that's what you are wanting. Yes, it's noisy but Waikiki is hustle and bustle so you get used to that. Check in and out staff were all very friendly and polite. On... Read more

Every Marriott property I visited is always OUTSTANDING. Rooms are nice, reasonable prices, and the staff is more than friendly! I'm a Marriott customer whenever and wherever I can. This property is a short walk from the beach. Parking was $37.00 per night but 1/2 block down the road you could park for $7.00. Live and learn!

First time at this property while in Oahu on business.I would say I was a little disappointed with the lack of amendaties and the small size of the room. Probably one of the smallest I ever stayed in. I stay at Marriott properties a lot as I travel and I would safely say this property was not up to par to what I feel are to Marriotts standards. The room was clean and recently updated to a modern decor but it feels like it still could still use some more serious work. Bathroom was extremely small... Read more

We stayed here last October for a week as well. The rooms are fine, clean and clutter free, however last October was renovations so extremely loud, and the street side is always that way. A few things. . . It is about 2 blocks from some of the most high-end shopping anywhere I've seen, so location is great. Don't get the penthouse unless you are having a family reunion or kegger on the deck. It looks impressive upon entry. The kitchen was beautiful and nicely redone. We really had no need f... Read more

I just wanted to drop a line concerning a group of professionals who helped me during a very bad couple of days. I arrived at your hotel on 22 May 2016 around 1030PM. After a 26 hour travel time due to my airline having mechanical difficulties and creating a very, very long day of travel from Maryland, USA. I arrived with no luggage and no personal items such as a toothbrush and shaving kit. The front desk person greeted me a smile and great disposition. I think her name was "Dylan", but I'... Read more

We booked a room last minute for the day, after getting off of a cruise ship, as our flight didn't leave Hawaii until 9 pm that evening. We wanted a place to store our luggage and a shower later in the day, prior to the ten hour flight ahead of us. The small sized room included a mini-fridge, a dark closet sized shower, no tub, and a balcony for one. The pool provided a nice relaxing place to hang out. The Courtyard by Marriott in Waikiki Beach was amazing! The customer service was top notch! The front desk made checking in and out a breeze. They were very attentive to our needs and couldn't have been friendlier on arrival. We were on the 15th floor, one bedroom sweet with ocean view! The street is a bit noisy, but since we were on a higher level, it wasn't bad. The location of the hotel is perfect! Walking distance to shopping, restaurants, and, most importantly, the beach! The renovated rooms were stunning. The hotel was in the heart of Waikiki, which made it in good proximity to all the attractions that were going on. Most of all I was very pleased with Keonaona Salis whom is the Corporate Sales Manager. This hotel is a clean property with a friendly, professional staff, but the rooms were a little outdated and small, and if you get one of the rooms that face Kuhio Ave be prepared for pretty much constant traffic noise. The sliding door didn't seem to stop any of the noise at all. Valet parking was kind of a hassle, too. The arrival area is small. I stay at the Courtyard often while on business. I'd give it six stars if I could. The front desk team is fantastic! They provide friendly, professional service and always go out of their way to smile and say hello. Larissa is AMAZING! Best customer service I've ever experienced. I've stayed at handfuls of other Marriott properties, but because of the friendliness and top notch customer service, the Courtyard Marriott Waikiki is my hands down favorite.

Victoria and her team are AMAZING! They went above and beyond for my husband and I. We were celebrating our 10 year anniversary and they made our stay special and memorable. When we checked-in, our room was decorated and had a list of things we should do or see during our stay. My favorite thing was the picture frame of our daughter on the night stand. That made my heart melt, so thoughtful. We weren't able to bring our daughter on this trip, so that was such a nice thing to see every morning. ... Read more

The purpose of our stay was to hit some of the sites close by, before heading to the west side of the island to our Marriott Timeshare. Check in, check out, along with all other experiences with front desk were amazing. I have stayed at this hotel the same week every year for the past five years (plus a couple of other times). There always seems to be an issue with my room. "Upgrading" me to two doubles is not an option when my profile is a king. The solution was to put me in the second floor facing the bus stop- not. Oahu sadly lacks any business class hotels. Plus, I like the points. However, if I were on vacation or even using Marriott rewards to stay here, I wouldn't recomend it. We spent 4 days in Honolulu. Because of price/value balance, this hotel was amazing. It was soo near to any attraction point in Honolulu. It takes 2-3 min to walk to Waikiki Beach. There is an IHop just across the street. The only thing that is negative was hotel's street could be full of drunk people at midnight, when they sing or shout or laugh it could be really difficult to sleep. Have to say was very disappointed with how small the standard room is. Not sure if this is the norm in Hawaii though. At least the bed is very comfortable though I wish hotels would just have king beds as standard instead of these tiny double or Queens. Road noise is really bad if you are on the street side so beware. Pool is also quite small but nice. Only issue is only 10 loungers to fight over. There is enough room so how about a few more management. 2 families camped out can hog them all. O... Read more

The staff are amazing, all so kind and helpful, very polite. I really could not fault the staff if I even tried. Entering the hotel, it is a very nice place. Nice location if you have to be in Waikiki. Close to transportation, restaurants and not too far from the beach. Nice, accommodating staff. The coffee joint in the lobby is good, but steer clear of the bar unless you like cheap booze. Try to get an upper level room, if possible, as the street noise can be pretty loud.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Hotel was immaculately clean and always smelt of fresh frangipani! Location was so close to Waikiki Beach could walk there with in 10 minutes. Shopping was really close, just a few streets away - Victoria's Secret, H & M, forever 21 etc. The pool and spa were also very clean.

I had a very nice 1 bedroom suite conveniently located near the beach and shopping. I would definitely stay there again. Only next time I hope to enjoy the pool. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful.

First I must mention Ray, our concierge on the first leg of our trip. We stayed here 3 nights on arrival and 2 before departure. Checking in, our suite was on the second floor, but having read in Trip Advisor about the noise, asked if we could get a higher floor, and Ray was able to accommodate us. His demeanor is commendable, a fine host! There we had a view and the Suite was perfect, it was in the main building. Our second stay, the concierge Dylan was also helpful, yet not able to acquire a d... Read more
