"I am sorry.I cannot write a good review.A few bullet points.
1. Leaking and rusted away fire sprinkler in the bathroom that dripped on you when you were standing in front of the sink.
2.$32.00 a day for parking.(complete rip off)
3.We were woke up several times by a dog barking in the room next to ours.We were told that this is a pet friendly motel.Not to friendly to humans !!!!!!!
4.Room service did not change the sheets for 3 days.
5.Coffee grounds in the area of the pot where the water goes.No telling how long the package of grounds were there.
6.The door stop that keeps the entry door from damaging the wall when opened is in the middle of the entry way mounted on the floor.I showed it to my wife and asked her to be careful and not to trip on it.The next night she went to turn down the A/C and she she was barefoot.She stubbed her foot and sliced it open.Cell phone pictures of the door stop and her cut foot were taken.We filled out an accident report at the front desk.Three weeks later no one from Marriott has called to see how my wife's foot is.NOwe will not stay in a Marriott again."

"The staff at the Marriott was very friendly and helpful. I had expected a better quality for the room though as it was very small and the result of a poor renovation. The room that we were booked in was shared with the freight elevator. Looking at the plan for the hotel, there are three rooms on every floor that share space with the three elevators. There was about 12 inches of space between the bed and the closet doors that faced the bed. The majority of the rooms don't have this problem, but it is very unfortunate if you get stuck with one of these smaller rooms. The housekeeping staff also stored the linen carts in the hallway next to our door. This was the case for all five nights. By choosing the Marriott, I expected a better quality and a nicer room."

"The staff at the Marriott was fantastic.

We really appreciated the guy who provided us lots of great details to create great memories in Honlulu.

Room was always cleaned on time and location for this hotel was ideal for us, since we did not want to be on the beach but be able to walk there.

The patio and overall space provided was outstanding. We usually stay on the beach, but at these prices and the accomodations provided - Courtyard - is a wonderful way to enjoy Oahu and have more money to spend on things to do here."

"We had our first trip to Hawaii to celebrate our belated 25th anniversary and enjoyed it thoroughly. What a beautiful place to vacation. The Courtyard by Marriott room was smaller that we expected but it served our needs. At the time we got an extremely good package deal and stayed for a week December 2011. (much better price than currently posted) The staff was very friendly and helpful. The lobby and pool area were lovely and restaurant had good food for a decent price."

"I was surprised and quite please with my stay at the Courtyard by Marriott. I mistakenly booked this Marriott property thinking I was booked at the Marriott Resort/Spa on Waikiki. So my disappointment turned into an enjoyment due to the friendliness and helpfulness of the front desk and staff. They were courteous, friendly always with a smile and very helpful when we asked for directions and recommendations. They were better than the hotel conseierge who was not helpful or friendly. The valet staff were great (yes- it is steep price for parking at $32 per day) but they were quick to get your car and very helpful with baggage and directions. They were delightful and funny - I like to say they were better than a dinner and a show... The rooms were clean and better than most hotels I have stayed at while traveling on business.
I would stay here again when traveling to Hawaii....best value for the price!"

"Very bad experience. I requested the rooms to be next to each other and called to confirm with the hotel the day before we arrived. They confirm back that they have our rooms next to each other. When we arrived we found out that the rooms are not available per our requested. They tried to set us up with left over room they have available. I am very disappointment with their service. After standing at the front counter for almost 30 minutes. The front desk trasfer us to the manager to find rooms for us. The manager finally got us rooms that next to each other but we have to wait for an hours. What's a horrible service. The manager was very rude and have a bad attitude. That's it. I don't think we will be back. It is enough bad experience and it 's kinda ruin our vacation. Room are very old and not exactly you have seen from the web site. Beside, they cahrge $32 for parking. What 's a rip-off."

"I took my family on our first all in vacation. We stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott in Waikiki Beach. The rooms were clean and the staff was accomidating. Our rooms were not ready when we landed so the staff provided us with breakfast vouchers tor the inconvience. My only two complaints would be 1 - we were on the 3rd floor with no elevators, hard to carry luggage up and down, and 2 the pool only gets sun in the am.

We were in Hawaii together and only a few blocks to the beach.

"This was my first time in Hawaii so I did not know what to expect. The hotel reminded me of the old buildings in NYC, it could use a total refresher and update, the pool is a joke for the size of the hotel. The best thing about this hotel is the staff and location. It is walking distance from the beach and all types of eating places and shops to suit any taste and budget. Beware of the local tour operators, we were sold a tour package by a local tour operator but issued a voucher for a lesser one, we later discovered, that by booking direct with the attractions we could have saved half the price and enjoyed more. The Waikiki area is truly beautiful, clean, safe and lots to do day and night."

"Rooms are very old and we had maintenance problems with the shower. Staff was helpful and professional. Lobby is nice and well maintained. Pool is small but young kids had fun. Had to park for $20 bucks a day at a remote parking lot across the street from the hotel, not optimal. Best way to sum up this experience, Marriott staff driving a beat up old clunker."

"The hotel was fabulous. The desk clerks were professionally friendly and remarkably helpful, with sharing information about activities and transportation, etc. The hotel service was great and the housekeepers and other service workers demonstrated excellent honesty and integrity for the guests personal property. The hotel looked Beautiful just like the photos on the website. The beach was ten minutes away, buses, trolleys, taxes were available all day long. The rooms were clean and tidy with a nice balcony. The swimming pool and jacuzzi was open until 10:00pm daily. The hotel is centered in the heart of all the shopping centers and restaurants. I will stay at this hotel whenever I travel to Oahu Hawaii. Moreover, I will definitely recommend this outstanding hotel to all family members and friends.
I had a great trip filled with excitement and adventure."

"The courtyard marriott is an amazing place to say. The staff is extremely helpful and like to take care of their guest. The floor staff especially on the 10th and 2nd floor (the ones i came in contact with) the ladies were so pleasant and did all they could to make us both happy and comfortable..... the front desk staff accomodated us to their fullest. If I ever was to return to Hawaii, I most definately would stay in the same hotel."

"I booked a 1 Bedroom with kitchenette. The room is clean but small. Housekeeping is absolutely GREAT!!! Location is great and close to everything. My kids loved the heated pool and I loved the massage chair to relieve my achy feet after the whole of exploration. However, No Wifi in room and lobby wifi is too slow to be useful for downloading any movies into my IPAD. Also, I requested for sets of tableware (dishes/spoons/forks) during hotel confirmation and follow-up with front desk the 2nd day we were there, but to no avail. I decided not to follow up anymore...It's kind of frustrating already. Overall, I'm satisfied with my stay."

The location was perfect for what we were looking for which was the beach and places to spend an evening with friends. "This was my honeymoon hotspot...This hotel was two blocks up from waikiki beach, many restaurants around and everything is walking distance.....when we arrived there they upgraded us compliments of the hotel, for no reason.....so that was cool....bus stops are right across from the hotel making it convenient to hop on the bus and go site seeing...this hotel also has an awesome coffee shop...great for breakfast....very friendly staff.... conceirge was very knowledgable...the spa was great too...overall great hotel can't wait to go back"

"We booked a deluxe room with a Kitchenette. The room was far from deluxe and you could hardly turn around in it. What they call a kitchenette was a laugh. As we were booked in for 23 nights we had to upgrade to a one bedroom suit. Here again the kitchenette was very poor with only a microwave for cooking. The hotel was not soundproof and the noise level was very high. The pools were nice and the location was good."

"The staff was very friendly and helpful. Disappointed there was no continental breakfast as was mislead to believe there was. Tuesday night we had two alarms go off warning us to leave the building. TWO of them - one at 10 PM and the other around 3:45 AM. We were not happy. Friday as we were packing to leave around 11:30 AM - another alarm to leave the building went off. All were false alarms, but still - when a person is on vacation that is NOT what should happen -disrupting their sleep and scaring them half to death. Did think the room was a little pricy, but we didn't spend much time there."

"The staff was great, and always very friendly and helpful. The location was very central. Prices seemed a little pricey, but everything is very pricey in Waikii. Parking was $29 per day for valet parting, only option was public parking across the street at $20 per in and out. Rooms were not too bad, AC was very noisy. I would stay here again."

"Our trip in November was enjoyable due to our stay at this hotel. It was very convenient to restaurants and shopping and just a couple of blocks from the beach. The hotel staff were always available and helpful. Our room was very small and we had no option to upgrade to a larger room. We didn't have a microwave, just a small refrigerator, no desk or chair. Bathroom was also very small with no space to put items. Valet parking was $25/day - recommend checking car each day for any damage. Valet not responsible for any damage once you take car off lot. Area around hotel was very safe."

"Excellent location. Very central with multiple connections. Would go there again tomorrow. All staff were friendly, courteous and genuinely interested in assisting my wife and I with all our strange and not so strange request. Rooms were very good and well appointed - even at the generous rate we paid. Had a full week there with absolutely no problems and no hidden costs unlike those we were hit with at a certain Las Vegas location the week before."
