"The best part of this hotel were the desk and valet staff. They were pleasant and attentive. The housekeeping staff was pleasnt but on several days, after being at a conference for 7 hours, I returned to a room that had not been serviced. The hotel itself is very old, any renovations must have occured in the lobby since the rooms clearly have not been renovated in many years. The rooms and bathrooms are VERY small. The 'breakfast' should just be eliminated. Small pastries that were clearly defrosted, hardboiled eggs, and instant oatmeal packages were not appetizing. The coffee was good.
You have to leave your room key in a slot to turn on the air and the lights! The street noise was overwhelming at times."

"Description and amenities misrepresented. At the time of reservation, which is also documented on my printed confirmation that the rate included a full hot breakfast of eggs, choice of meat etc. When we checked in we were told the hot breakfast was discontinued in December, but I booked this hotel in January. The rooms are small and the bathrooms are tiny. Decor 70's style but clean and bed was comfortable. We paid over $200 for this room for one night plus tax and $26 for valet. There were no other parking options. The people at the front desk were very nice but the price charged was way too much when compared with other hotels I have stayed with in Honolulu. I am in Honolulu frequently on business as well as personal travel. Iwill not stay at this hotel again."
