"My one an only complaint was that I had specifically asked for a king sized bed given that this was our honeymoon. When we opened the door to our room, we found two beds instead of one. I went back down to the check in. They explained that they had no king beds available at the moment, but we could change rooms in two days. The staff was great. Location keeps you near the tourist stuff but far enough away to enjoy a little peace and quiet. You can walk to pretty much everything. I wish they would make internet access free. Seems like a silly fee to pay, but what do you do? All in all, I would still recommend this hotel. We had an ocean front view, which was amazing!"

"Aston Hotel is over priced. Rooms are small. Breakfast is horrible and a joke going to collect it in a cooler bag. We ate elsewhere for breakfast. Poor facilties in the room. No coffee, no in room entertainment without paying extra. Ocean veiw means you can see the ocean but not an ocean front facing room. Generally poor value for money."

"The rooms are very small, not enough room to put 2 suitcases. When we went down for Breakfast the day after we arrived there was nowhere to sit, there were limited tables and the deck chairs that they had out all full, there is definately not enough room for all the guests. The toilet in our room shot out water every time we flushed it and the cover on the power point was hanging off, which i wasn't aware of until i plugged in the iron and it fall off in my hand with the wires still attached and live. When leaving the room it took for ever for an elevator to arrive."

From Honolulu International Airport via H1 Freeway:
From Honolulu International Airport: Exit Airport Terminal and access the H-1 Freeway East exit freeway via Nimitz Highway and follow WAIKIKI directional signs, Nimitz Highway transitions to Ala Moana Blvd, midpoint on your drive as you pass the port of Honolulu on your right and the Honolulu business district on your left, Ala Moana Blvd merges with Kalakaua Avenue at the Southwest entrance to Waikiki, proceed onto Kalakaua Avenue, the Aston Waikiki Beach Hotel is the first building on the left after the intersection of Kalakaua and Paoakalani.
