Next to Kapiolani Park and a spectacular beach, Lotus Honolulu is an ideal location away from Waikiki`s hustle and bustle. Take one of the walking paths to either a private sandy alcove or to popular San Souci Beach, where bikinis and board shorts meet the sunshine and surf.

Across from the hotel is the 108-acre Queen Kapiolani Park, where the hotel offers free yoga classes and where guest can enjoy public jogging trails and tennis courts. Within the park is the Honolulu Zoo, Waikiki Aquarium and Waikiki Shell an outdoor amphitheater for musical concerts ranging from orchestra to jazz and Jack Johnsons annual Kokua Festival concert. Cultural and art festivals as well as sporting events abound nearly every weekend at the park, an epicenter of activity for the local community as well as visitors.

The Hotel Atmosphere:
At Lotus Honolulu, expect a relaxed, calm atmosphere, away from the typical fast-paced Waikiki scene, yet conveniently accessible and within walking distance. The Lotus at Diamond Head will awaken and tempt your senses while offering an escape from the ordinary Waikiki. Whether you are seeking a peaceful moment, or a convenient business stay, The Lotus at Diamond Head has it all, and with great style too.

Luxury Services:
In the lobby (living room), Guests can tantalize their mind with board games, soothing sounds and aromatic scents, or jump into a (Nintendo) Wii game or two with the devices and 42 flat panel screen available. Complimentary wine is served daily in the lobby during the evening wine hour. Plus, guests may borrow one of the hotel`s beach cruiser bicycles to explore Waikiki and surrounding neighborhoods at their leisure. And last but not least, guests can also borrow beach chairs, beach towels and iPods for an enjoyable day on the sand.

Boutique Guest Rooms:
The stylish guest rooms boast a sleek design, combining beautiful Southeast-Asian inspired elements with quality comforts that ensure you`ll be pampered throughout your stay. Recently renovated, the rooms are highlighted by beautiful hardwood floors, and have deep brown and teal accents colors. Enjoy remarkable views of Diamond Head and the Pacific Ocean. Offering modern conveniences, guest rooms have iPod docking stations, wireless Internet, cable TV, movies on demand, 42 inch flat screen TV, DVD player, in-room safe and more.

Park Restaurant is closed for renovations.

Guests may enjoy the several dining options within walking distance of the hotel and are able to sign to their rooms for breakfast, lunch, and dinner at Hau Tree Lanai restaurant and Miyako Japanese restaurant found on the New Otani Kaimana Beach. Michel`s at the Colony Surf is also nearby, offering French cuisine. The Lotus does not provide room service.
