My husband and I took our teenage son here for his birthday trip. Everything about the property is well maintained. The rooms are clean and up to date. The lobby is cozy and comfortable, but a little dark in the evenings if you are trying to read. We were there in the winter so they had a fire in the fireplace and my husband and I sat there and read and visited during the day and in the evenings. The staff is friendly and helpful. We ate breakfast, dinner and Sunday brunch in the main dining ro... Read more

My wife and I travel here at least twice per year. I have my father in law staying here at least the same. I have brought some employees up as well and everyone equally enjoys it. Something's you must know to enjoy this place. One, it is rustic type spa resort with a mountain feel and atmosphere. Towns around it are small with some good dining but not a lot of shopping. It's s place where you do mostly resting. They do have horse back riding, nice golf, and spa. Service is different. For the mos... Read more

It was very cold when we stayed at this beautiful resort. They had fires going in the public places. School was out, so there were a lot of children around. Ate lunch at the grill and dinner in the mail restaurant. Food was above average, and service good. A very pleasant stay-wish we could have walked the grounds, but it was wet and cold.

My and wife went to this resort the week after New Years and we found it to be a warm and welcoming hotel and resort. As with most things, it is the people who make the difference and everyone here is nice and friendly. We would like to thank Al, one of the managers, for getting our online discounted reservation worked out. He even met us at check in to make sure everything went smoothly, which it did. We used valet, and it worked well too. Everyone we came in contact with at Brasstown Resort wa... Read more

The waitstaff in the restaurants were pleasant, but the other staff personnel were rude, unaccommodating, never smiled, and were as dreary as the hotel. I was in the area on business. This is certainly not a place I would want to return to for a vacation!

What's not to love about a warm and cozy fireplace? Food the makes your mouth water in appearance and taste? A staff that makes you feel like royalty? And magnificant forestry surroundings that beckon you for a walk? This is exactly what you will experience at this venue. The cabins, located within walking distance of the resort hotel, offer just enough privacy for romance or family outings, while still providing daily service and access to resort activities. Great place to practice the all ... Read more

I loved staying here at the Brasstown Valley Resort. All of the staff was friendly and ready to assist. I could not have had a better visit. This was undoubtedly the best stay I have had in a while anywhere. I enjoyed both the restaurant and the Brassies Grill. The rooms are clean and wonderful plush towels large enough to dry off on. Great relaxing atmosphere. Love this place!!!!!

Can't say enough good things about this place. Best kept secret! Staff goes over and above to meet your needs. The indoor/outdoor pool is great for any season. Spa is lovely. Sipping a martini by the fireside also a plus! We go 2 to 3 times a year and never disappointed

We visited the resort in October during leaf season and had a very nice experience. We have been going to the resort since it has opened. The rooms are lovely be cause they have recently been renovated along with the lobby area and lobby bar. The staff can not do enough for you and they are so very pleasant. We did dine there a couple of times and the food was good. The Friday night seafood buffet had unlimited snow crab claws which were prepared well. Sitting on the veranda sipping wine and wat... We enjoyed an awesomely delicious buffet with friends and family for Thanksgiving! It is pricey, but well worth every penny. All food, drinks, and dessert are included! The lodge itself is beautiful. We did not stay at the lodge, but the restaurant is open to the public and has shops for you to buy gifts. They always have it decorated according to the season for some great family pictures.
