I was riding my motorcycle through GA and found myself in Vidalia with the sun going down. After driving past some pretty shoddy looking hotels/inns, I was glad to come across a clean looking Hampton Inn. I was a little concerned about leaving my bike outside and discussed options with Kenneth, a Hampton Inn staff member. Extremely friendly staff, thanked us for being a Hilton Honors member and did everything possible to make our stay an excellent stay. The location is easy to find. The breakfast is typical Hampton Inn and that is a good thing, you know what to expect and this property delivers. I travel all over the state and this is a good pick for this part of Georgia. Get some Vidalia onions while you are here!

Staff is very helpful. Highly recommend hotel. Workout facility nice and close to restaurants. Check out the restaurants in town next door - Elements and Hardware pizza. Also try Steeplechase in Vidalia.

I usually stay at this hotel when in the area. This time upon checking in I discovered that someone had been smoking in the room. I went to the front desk to relate this to them and immediately they took care of the problem by moving me to another room. They were so apologetic and went out of their way to make sure the new room was good.

Very nice, staff was friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. Accommodations were nice and had no problems with the room. It is not a top tier chain but did it's best to make you feel that they were top tier.

Stopped here during a short B-day trip, was very surprised by a nice gift left in our room! Thanks Casey, you are super and we appreciate you having the gift placed in our room. Breakfast was very good and the coffee was great!

Best place to stay in Vidalia. In fact, I refuse to stay anywhere else especially now that they have DIRECTV (wish it had the CW as a channel). Anyway, the staff is very helpful and makes you feel welcomed.

Whenever business brings me to Vidalia, I try to stay in this Hampton Inn; sometimes, especially on short notice, this property can be full due to a nearby power plant being service by none local crew. As with all Hampton's, the rooms are clean, service is good and breakfast is okay to start your day.......rcommended

The hotel and staff are great!!!! i was in town for work and the staff made me feel at home. Everything was going very well until there was a storm and we lost internet access. This was no fault of the hotel or the staff. Great breakfast and snacks in the evening! YUM!!!!

My wife and I, and our 15 year old grandson spent a Saturday and Sunday night at this hotel. Getting the reservation through the local hotel was easy, and check-in was quick and simple. The entire staff that we had contact with was courteous and helpful. Our suite was neat and clean, and all requests were promptly dealt with. Checkout was simple. What a great place to stay. I was there to attend a funeral and the entire staff was great. The rooms were very clean & comfortable. The breakfasts were fantastic and the selection of food was great. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area.

I was here for one night on business. I wanted to print some stuff for business but a sign on the business center door said no internet. The hotel has WI fi so that was hard to believe. So I could not print. They had cookies and cold drinks in the front at check in which was nice after working outside all day. Worst stay ever. Didn't even clean the room and refused to give us new room. Staff very rude. Bugs were biting us. Yellow stains were on the sheets and pillow cases. Hampton customer service was very unhelpful.

Felt welcome and hotel cool on a hot day. They had a good,quality breakfast in the morning. There was coffee always available . The location was perfect for us for a family reunion. The bed was comfortable. I liked all the samples of shampoo and soap.

I believe this is only one of two hotels in Vidalia so no options here. However because I am a Rewards member I chose to stay here. Although the lobby area has been updated the rooms have not so they have that old feeling to them it's not bad it's just not my preference. However the housekeeping staff is great as well as the concierge at the front desk so other than the decor there's actually no gripes

I must say that I expected a little better service than I received at this hotel. There didn't seem to be enough employees on staff. I was given two broken coffee makers. I was sick one morning, and I wasn't able to go to breakfast to fix my own. After a phone call, I was brought coffee and a new maker. The people were very courteous. The beds were a little hard. I also feel that I should have been informed about the construction going on inside of the hotel when I made my reservation.

Very friendly staff and clean, quiet property. Housekeeping was very attentive as was the front desk attendant upon my arrival. I would definitely recommend this location to others and if I'm ever in the area again this is where I'll stay!

Hampton Inns are always a good choice to stay at. The hotel and room was very clean and roomy. The staff was also helpful in accommodating me with parking a car with a utility trailer close to my room window view. There were only two negatives that were noted. The in room refrigerator was making weird noises. I had thought that the noises were from the adjoining room, but was traced to the refrigerator. Once turned off all was fine. Recently stayed here for a family reunion. We enjoyed our stay but was given less than an hour notice that we had to check out by 10:30 due to a power outage. This was totally unacceptable. The only reason we even found out was because we phoned the front desk to inquire about the check out time. Otherwise I guess we would have just found out after the power went out. I couldn't prove it but this place just seemed dirty. Very old carpet...certainly could use some updating. I have stayed in many, many Hampton Inns and this was the most dreary of all. Of course, Vidalia is not a thriving metropolis but the people we met in the restaurants were so nice.

I'm a HHonors Diamond Member, so I stay at Hilton properties more than 50 nights per year across the country. While there are a few places where this hotel exceeds expectations, it's a bit disappointing overall, and has gone downhill over the last 3 years. This hotel is way overpriced or at least it was the night I stayed there. My sheets were dirty from the previous lodger so that was disgusting. There were actual crumbs in the bed. I will not stay there again.

Needed to stay here because of traveling through to see clients. Not alot of choices to stay in this town. The very small business center was sufficient but staff had to work getting computer to talk to printer. My room was on the third floor ...elevator wasn't workng. I wasn't offered another floor. Killed a big roach in the hallway on the way to my room. Beds were comfortable but the shower head dripped all night. Breakfast was very minimal. Do not think this was a good value for the money.

I booked this hotel at a rate of $111.72 per night. I was pre-charged the day before arrival at a rate of $126 per night. Despite the fact that I had my email with confirmed rate it took speaking to 3 different people and being on the phone almost an hour to resolve. Front Desk clerk Becky was so awesome. Our room was super clean and very comfy bed. The morning clerk Kenneth was extremely rude & unprofessional. Sarah, it was very disastrous and your facility needs a lot of help and repairs. The poor gal at the front desk was all alone and totally bombarded. There should have been more help and a manager on site there. She was answering the phone, handling customers, giving directions, etc. Some of the rooms were not yet available and others had to be turned away. Very nice management staff. We were traveling with aged parents and the management were so accommodating to get us in first, as soon as they could have the rooms cleaned. The rooms were clean. Everything in order. Room is very basic but recent decor updated. TV worked fine. The hotel maintenance needs improvement. The elevators were out of order for the entire week of my stay. The room door can only be opened when I put my weight to turn the handle. There was a coffee maker with no pot. The shower head dripped all the time.
