I spent two weeks in Valdosta for work. Stayed at this hotel and really liked it. Friendly people. Very clean rooms. Nicely furnished. As a woman statin alone, I felt very safe...even when the parking nearest the doors was all gone and I had to park at the other end of the parking lot. I will definitely stay here again if the opportunity arises!

Nice hotel, but beware....the walls are thin and the mattresses are inflatable and extremely uncomfortable. I stay here for the hhonors points but every time I toss and turn all night long bc the mattress is so uncomfortable. They are adjustable and I always wake up in a hole in the middle of the bed. My only other complaint is the walls are thin and I. The bathroom you can literally hear people talking and coughing.....and doing othe the bathroom next door. Other than tha... Read more

2nd time we have stayed at this hotel. Very impressed the first time. This time was different. After returning from dinner, my wife was laying on the bed watching TV. When it was time for bed, she pulled back the covers and it was like her side of the bed collapsed. There was a huge indentation. I remembered they have mattresses that adjust from soft to firm, so, I adjusted it to firm and thought that would suffice. When we awoke in the morning, the indentation was back and her back was hurting.... Read more

Reception was excellent, bright cherry reception. Room was clean and in order. I had dinner in the lounge and service was very good as was the food, better than expected. Breakfast was good, service was not Hilton Garden quality, when the server took my order I asked for wheat toast and she indicated I could get my own, I also had to walk around the divider to get my coffee including refills. At all the Garden Inn's I have stayed in service is with a smile and above and beyond. Not sure if... Read more

A very nice property and a fantastic staff. Kellie who is the general manager is outstanding. Great food, and perfect location near mall and restaurants. We went to Valdosta to celebrate my twins graduation from high school and this turned out to be a great choice as we visited Wild Adventures theme park one last time.

Mattress controls did not work to soften or firm up mattress. Microwave only had 3 legs so it tottered forward when opening & closing door - dangerous with hot liquids. Online check-in did not work prior to arrival to hotel.

We were on a road trip from Atlanta to Port Charlotte and we needed a stay half way. Hotel is located close to the exit of I75 and to the biggest mall of Valdosta. Breakfast is great but dinner at the restaurant is not good. Staff is great and helpful. The rooms need a tune up. Our room had a separate bed room and a living room. Friendly staff and cleans rooms... arrived late and left early so didn't get a chance to try the breakfast or dining. I don't believe this property is pet friendly but room possibly had TX a service animal at one point... Linen was dirty and contained someone's hair. It was appalling to turn back the sheets and discover not only several strands of hair but dirty linen as well. I know the linen should be white, not beige.

This specific location is not up to par. I stay in Garden Inn hotels often. This one needs help! I like to check my statement prior to checking out....had to wait forever at the desk. One person working and she was very slow. she kept stopping and answering the phone. Uncceptable! The over all experience was just not good. I will look for another place to stay on my next trip to Valdosta.

There are a lot of choices for hotels in Valdosta. This was a OK place with a nice bar / restaurant in the lobby. The pool and the gym were well used, but not crowded. Parking was extremely well lit. Promised discount or points, didn't happen when I asked for points. Should have demanded the discount. Mistake of trusting them. Would not select this hotel because of the beds. All caved in the middle on both beds (queen quite). Light bulbs out. I typically stay in HGI for business. I expect this for $29.95 not $100+ night.

My experience of Hilton Garden was pleasant. Friendly staff, very clean rooms, comfortable beds and great amenties. Located very close to shopping and movie theather, with plently of restaurants to chose from. The elavators were quick, the halls were quite, and plenty of t.v. programs to chose from. The pool area was refreshing for a warm summer day and the bathroom conveniently located near pool entrance and clean, staff was on point.

The rooms were a nice size , beds comfortable good pillows. Musty smell in rooms at first. The Carpet needs to be cleaned in the rooms and the halls . Cold breakfast is free, pay for eggs , bacon , biscuits or grits. The dining area had cloth napkins that smelled so bad it would almost make you sick had to go wash my hands to get the dirty grease smell off my hands. The napkins look clean but smell awful! I told the waitress , she was not aware of the problem.

This particular Hilton garden Inn doesn't seem to hold the standard of others. It maybe the best choice for the area but that isn't saying very much. Guest were yelling and screaming all night. Very dirty hotel and staff that don't care. Would not recommend this hotel. Food trays stay in the hallway for 24 hours. Sheets stained, carpet need a good cleaning and the keys don't work except on your room. Even the bar person propped the door open so she wouldn't get locked out. Reported all issues to management who did nothing.

Stopped here halfway to Orlando. It was just an OK HGI. Wasn't horrible, but wasn't the best HGI we've stayed in. Had an issue with the number bed in our room which made for a not so good night's sleep, but the staff were super friendly in resolving the problem. We like hiltons and are loyal to the brand, Just because we really enjoy and rely on the uniform standards of cleanliness that the Hilton chain provides. We arrived late at this garden in, and we did not find the bed linens to the standards that we expect. Of course Hilton, as always, did make it right. But I think this hotel needs to sharpen up their cleaning staff. We suspect the room di into get an adequate change of bed linen when the room was turned over.

For this particular trip we needed a room for one night while we were in Valdosta moving our youngest into an apartment for his jr year at VSU. Other than the beds not being especially comfortable, I have no issues with this property, and will continue to stay here when in the area.
