My husband and I stayed here last night. The young lady that checked us in was a joy and the ladies checking us out this morning were also very nice. The room was neat as a pin. There were plenty of towels, and they were a very nice size. Hot water immediately when you turned it on and plenty of restaurants within a very short drive. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling thru Valdosta.

Clean and comfortable with a courteous staff. Enjoyed my stay. Will be my go to hotel from now when traveling to Valdosta as I travel there quite frequently. I usually stay at another Hotel down the street but did not find the beds comfortable at all. Thought I would try the Courtyard this time.

Rooms were clean and comfortable, adequate maid service daily with plenty of towels and resupply of soap/shampoo/conditioner. Staff was Hotel location is central to the businesses of Valdosta without being immediately off I-75. Coffee/bar in lobby of hotel offered an intimate setting without price gouging for a cocktail/coffee. The only improvement area needed would be the sitting area couch cushions, they are starting to show wear/lack of fluff and probably in need or replacement in the near ... Read more

As an out of town mother of the groom, I was worried about hosting the rehearsal dinner somewhere that would accommodate a group of 45/50 or more and also accommodate family and guest that did not eat meat during lent. After several calls to restaurants and caterers, it was decided we'd bring our own food from New Orleans and host the dinner at the hotel where out of town guest were staying. I worked with Courtney to get everything settled and all the accommodations were excellent, both the gu... Read more

The hotel was in a good location not too far off the interstate. Room was clean and bedding comfortable. The mattress was soft but supporting. Room had a microwave and a fridge. Service was friendly and proficient. Breakfast is extra. Cost was fairly good since we did an express reservation through Priceline. Parking was ample and free. Walking distance to nearby food. Clean. Smells good. Nice location. We stay here often and always enjoy it. Close to interstate. We are on way to Disney world and this is our stopping off point. Stairwells are clean and friendly. They have a fenced in area to walk your dog. Will stay Again next year.

The room was priced high for the memorial weekend. Normal senior rate for Saturday night 100-110.00. This Memorial weekend 142.00 per night. Hallways smell like paint fumes and room smelled like dirty feet. Sheet was so wrinkled I wondered if it had even been washed. Wifi is very slow and keeps dropping your connection.

1st attempt at room. Fridge turned off. Internet not connecting. People in next room very loud. But at least I had HBO. I called the front desk and they changed my room. They told me that I had to call their IT people to try and figure out the network connection problem. Ok new room. After 15 minutes talking to IT, we figured it out. The new TV is half the size as our first room and no HBO. If your over 5ft 4 don't expect to take a shower without being bent over. The last straw was 2 babies in ... Read more

I was horried at first the Hampton Inn was 34 dollars cheaper. Reading reviews that were about even and even though I am Marriott Rewards member. I was 30 dollars. Several reviews mentioned the beds being very comfortable. So, I stayed Marriott and I am glad I did. Check in was quick being and easy 1 minute. I checked in with the app that morning. The beds were very comfortable. The staff was professional and nice. The hotel is located in a good location next to movie theater and the near the... Read more

The Courtyard in Valdosta provided us with a comfortable base for a few days while we needed to be out of our home. The best part was the welcome from the bistro and reception staff, who were friendly and helpful both at breakfast time and in the evenings (although the food selection in the evening is somewhat limited). It was also nice to have a pool and spa easily available, although the water in the spa could have been warmer - it was not exactly a 'hot tub'. Our room was a standard Courty... Read more

My number one issues was the WIFI. I couldn't get connected and the front desk informed me most guests have to call tech support. So after calling the 1800 number I was given, and being on the phone for 30 mins I was connected. They need to rethink however they are providing wifi. Guests should not have to go through all that just to have internet. I also had to change rooms because the one we got was a "joint" room right next to a family of what sounded like 12 kids. The hotel didn't seem booke... Read more

We traveled to help family with moving in for the first week at college! It was nice to see smiles after such a rainy drive. We were a little early and they happily let us check in early. Your beds were so comfortable and hotel amenities great. A really nice stay for the price. I was impressed with the fact that any employee we passed or came in contact with had a smile or nice greeting. Thank you for that. Our room was very clean and in good working order. Great comfortable stay!

This hotel was nice for a courtyard. The rooms were very clean and very spacious. The hotel had a nice cozy modern decor. The hotel did not have a free breakfast: you had to go down to the bistro and all the food was a la cart. The hotel did have free coffee however if you wanted anything decent, you had to go downstairs to the lobby Starbucks. The Starbucks was not a full service Starbucks. It was the bistro that just happen to serve Starbucks and prepare Starbucks beverages. The staff at the ... Read more

I have stayed at this hotel several times. It is conveniently located near restaurants and shopping, as well as I-71, downtown, and VSU. I love the comfortable beds at Courtyards! I have stayed at other hotels in Valdosta, and I would say that while the Courtyard is very comfortable, it is not as fresh and new as others. A good solid hotel experience.

The Bistro makes this hotel a return spot. They don't have much, but what they have is made fresh and tasty. It's nice after a long day of travel to be able to enjoy a glass of wine in your hotel. It's expensive, but sometimes you just don't want to drive again.

We stayed at the Courtyard Marriott and you could not ask for better service. All of the staff were friendly and helpful with everything we needed. The manager was hands down the best manager I have ever dealt with, very personable to our needs as we had a death in the family. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again.

Desperately needing shelter for our two dogs, thanks to Marriott, we booked this "Courtyard." The name says it all. Not only did we receive the hospitality and quality of Marriott brand, they actually have a dedicated "doggy COURTYARD." There is a double gated play area for your dogs to blow off steam, socialize and take care of business. They even had a dog treat at the front desk and water bowls at the front door. Not just a pet-friendly but pet-lover hotel! Should be a model for pet-fri... Read more

Checked in Monday October 17th. Pretty nice room except for the burns in a few places on the carpet. Thought the hotel was completely none smoking. Woke up 5 AM Tuesday morning, and as I'm getting dressed I notice something crawling on the sheets near the pillow that I slept on. I grabbed the notepad from the nightstand and smashed it! And what I saw was a big splotch of BLOOD! Mine! I travel almost every weekend from April through mid November. I've stayed in some low end establishments and ... Read more

Terri and TC greeted me warmly as I staggered in loaded with luggage and laundry. Had been on the road for 12 days. I immediately asked about laundry and remembered I forgot to get cash. After excavating every last bit of change from my bottomless purse, I was short some change. They volunteered to chip in. How sweet was that! What a treat after countless unremarkable hotel stays elsewhere!

I stayed in the Courtyard for one night and had the best bed I have ever slept on in a courtyard. If was both soft and firm so it molded to my body. In addition the staff was very accommodating as I need a room early to take a business call and they got me in my room even though they were busy. FYI I would give this hotel top marks or 5 stars in this price range. I reserve the 5 star experience for 5 star hotels. Believe me you will be very pleased for a room under $$125 per night!! Nice hotel, first time to stay in this area. We stayed during Hurricane Matthew. We were on our way to Florida. Lots of traffic due to the approaching hurricane. After we were settled in we decided to have a drink in the lounge. We should have asked the price before the wine was poured but as we are drinking our wine, for two glasses it was $34 plus tax. We think this was outrageous. We probably could have purchased 2 or 3 bottles for the price of two glasses of wine. We do not know if the... Read more

I am a loyal Marriott customer and this hotel was not up to par with the quality and customer service that made me a loyal customer to begin with. Our room needed a major overhaul - everything was brown and red and just looked old. The grout on the bathroom floors was chipped throughout and the bed had a huge dip in it, as though the mattress was 20 years old. The room smelled musty and when we left, the two girls at the counter continued their conversation without acknowledging that we were lea... Read more

I've stayed at this property multiple times and have always found it consistent in its cleanliness, safety, friendliness and convenience. Rooms are typical of Courtyard, so nothing special, but everything always works properly and there are no surprises. I like the fact it is across the street from a mall and close to a Buffalo Wild Wings to watch sports and get quick, passable food. The price is a bit high in comparison to another Valdosta Marriott property with a location not as convenient.
