Was a good place to stay...just make sure that the pool is open if you have kids...ours were disappointed as it was not open yet due to the inspection not being completed. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Room was clean and bed very comfortable. Wall was thin. Noisy neighbor, did report to front desk and noise eventually stopped. Front desk staff was efficient and late check in was not an issue. Overall a good place!

I have a pretty high standard to meet especially for the Hilton brand. My normal Hampton was booked, so I tried this Hampton for the first time. The exterior and halls looked good, but the rooms need a good cleaning (beer caps in the air condition vent), and the furniture was in disrepair. The staff were nice nice and helpful, I just am used to a newer looking Hampton Inn. I will still be a big fan of the brand, but would love to see older Hamptons updated.

We were given a very small room, much smaller than what was on the hotel website. The breakfast was mediocre and the pool was over crowded. We had two adults and two young kids, 4 suitcases total and were very uncomfortable with the small size of the room.

The breakfast staff go out of their way to ensure you are treated as best as you could be. The access to dinning out you have a few miles to get to some local dinning but location is close to where I was working and the staff treat you like family.

This is roughly 5 miles away from stone mountain and the BAPS Swaminarayan hindu temple which was quite convenient. Not too far from downtown Atlanta either as it took about 40 minutes to get to the Aquarium. Clean rooms, welcoming staff, decent gym were the positives. Cannot really think of any negatives

We found Hampton at Stone Mountain to be very good. The Receptionist - Stephen - was very professional. We were out-of-state visitors and worried about vehicle security and general compatibility to the Atlanta Area. We recommend this place as a "safe-harbor".

We took a group of 40 students to Stone Mountain. We stayed at this Hampton Inn and had a wonderful experience. When we arrived, they had all the rooms ready for us to check in. We were given access to the meeting room to meet before dinner and to host conferences. When the children came down for breakfast, they were given assistance with staff without any hesitation. The rooms were clean and arranged to fit the group as promised. Doing a trip of this magnitude was a lot of work, but the s... Read more

Even in an emergency situation where we had to leave where we were staying due to plumbing issues in the home, the Hampton Inn staff was able to get us a room before the normal check in time. We had come in town for a funeral and had not needed a hotel when we came. This hotel was convenient to where we were staying before and met all of our needs.

The room was dusty. Every corner was filled with dust. One day of our visit we returned to a room that had not been cleaned at all. I would not recommend this location. Their slogan of "if you are not 100% satisfied you don't pay" is not true.

We stayed for a family Reunion, the room was very nice and clean. Wifi service was bad. The hotel had No food other than snacks that were outrageously overpriced. Free breakfast was bad so it had to be free. No atm machine for cash emergency. I would not recommend staying here more than 1 night and definitely not with your family. The Staff overall were very nice and friendly.

Five star rating Miss Pat was the reason I stayed. Her concern and compassion for a complete stranger renewed my faith in people. I was in such a state of mental, emotional and physical exhaustion, and severe pain, life at that moment was almost unbearable. Miss Pat helped me to acquire a room, however; I did not realize until awakening the next morning how very nice the room I had slept in was! what a way to wake up?!. I knew I had to come back. That's true, the room smelled like vanilla when we entered it. I loved it. We were very pleased with our stay here and had clean rooms, soft beds, the typical things one gets at a Hampton Inn. The Hampton put the icing on the cake for our mini family get together. We were visiting my brother and his wife and her family who live in Stone Mountain. The suite was slightly pricey but well worth it after initial disappointment elsewhere.

This was probably one of our better Hampton experiences. Front desk was super friendly. Even though there was a family reunion taking up a good chunk of the hotel and pool, it was not so busy we couldn't relax - which was the reason for our stay. Recommended chinese food delivery was quick and delicious. In a strange location near a school, but we had no security issues.

We visit Stone Mountain a couple of times a year and have stayed in various establishments in the area. This was my first stay at this Hampton Inn. We typically stay at another Hampton that is much farther away, but logistics didn't allow for that this time. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. We had 2 rooms reserved here for our family of 7. It is a short drive from Stone Mountain. The rooms were clean and updated. I loved the fact that not only were the sheets clean, but the comforters were sparkling clean and washed for each new check in. Pros: proximity to Stone Mountain; friendly staff; good breakfast; outdoor pool Cons: Outdated facility desperately needs updating; suites are less than impressive (as a family of 5 it was our only option - kids slept on an uncomfortable pull out and a hard as a rock chaise lounge) If you're not picky and looking for a quick overnight this accommodation is fine. If I return to Stone Mountain we'll probably look for something a little nicer.

I love the Hampton Inn and most cases am assured of a comfortable night sleep. I was really disappointed in the comfort of their mattress in this hotel. Also, room seemed outdated. There were some cosmetic problems with the room, which gave me the impression of it being unkept. Also, a large screw driver was hanging from back of bathroom door, which made me wonder what was wrong in the room. Positive: Bedding was clean. Staff were friendly.
