This property had nice amenities and was priced quite reasonably. However, when we entered our assigned room we were hit by an overwhelming musty, stale stench. The room was warm so we tried to pull down the thermostat to help. After a few hours with no improvement, we reported the problem to the desk where we were informed we could not adjust the temp to below 68 or it would shut off (would have been nice to know this in the first place). We did as instructed, but when we returned after dinner... Read more

Excellent hotel. The lobby is comfortable and inviting. A free copy of USA today is at the desk each morning. The staff is wonderful. Great free breakfast, including juices, hot and cold cereals, bagels, biscuits, pancakes, waffles, and more. . The pool and Jacuzzi are clean and relaxing. The room was clean and comfortable, and attractive. Very economical as well.We will be back!

The staff at this hotel was super friendly. Enjoyed the hospitality and recognition over a 3-day stay. Other guests sang happy birthday in breakfast room to our 2 year old granddaughter-so sweet. Super convenient to nearby attractions.

This was our third overnight trip to Stone Mountain and this hotel was just perfect for our needs over a single night. Our room was the midsize "King Studio Suite" and was priced in the $180 range after taxes and fees (Sunday, holiday weekend). We had previously stayed in the Hampton Inn, which is further from the park, older, but the rooms are much larger with full kitchens and proper suites with doors between the rooms ($200-$220 at the same time). We also tried the nearby Holiday Inn Express... Read more

this is an awesome area and you have shopping and eating places in walking distance. The front desk staff was great at check in and as well at check out. The breakfast was great. the hotel is well kept. The rooms are nice and clean only thing that I saw was the curtains in the room can be taken down and washed as there was some spots of red on it. You had to be looking like I was to see it as normally you will not see it by just going in and getting relaxed one other thing the air had a problem ... Read more

Pleasant people in this hotel made my stay great. The room wasn't large enough so the manager was helpful getting a room that connected to accommodate our large family. It was a bit pricey, but considering the short notice on memorial day weekend, I was very grateful for the helpful staff and manager.

I was there to go to the stone mountain park for the day. The property was nice to be that close to the park. There is a great place to eat down the street. The maid didn't look that well when she cleaned the room. One of the light in the bathroom was out.

Stayed here for a mother-daughter weekend to visit Stone Mountain Park. Hotel is less than one exit away (about 10 minutes). Very friendly staff; great customer service, clean rooms, and breakfast was good and dining area was clean. Wal-mart and movie theatre across street in a shopping center.

We've stayed at Country Inns before and were a little disappointed in this one. This was the highest rated hotel in this area and was also the least expensive (even when including ticket/parking prices for Stone Mountain). Staff was polite when checking in so no problems with them. We went to check out the saline pool and spa but the spa was closed for maintenance. I understand that happens and no big deal. I love the fact that the pool is saline rather than chlorine, but was fairly dirty with p... Read more

My wife, grand daughter and I spent 2 nights at Country Inn and Suites when we visited Stone Mountain earlier this month. We booked the hotel thru Trip Advisor. Everything was in order when we arrived. The hotel is in a great central location. We were upgraded to a suite because their were the 3 of us. The hotel staff and all their personnel were professional and very friendly. Our room was spacious, spotless and comfortable. A great stay!. We will definitely book our next vacation outing th... Clean hotel in good location. Easy parking and free internet. Carpet was worn but clean. Breakfast was good but basic and the hours were long. Close to Stone Mountain and Atlanta. Pool looked nice but hot tub was closed. The breakfast alone saved me $15 per day. I would stay there again.

Factors in my choice to book this room for my 4 night stay based on ad's were the rating, breakfast and the pool's spa. The pros: Staff is very nice. Everyone was extremely courteous. The bed gave everyone a great nights sleep The cleanliness rating is --- they are doing the best they can with what they have to work with. Staff was very reactive to concerns, but establishment should be proactive to prevent concerns. Cons: Immediately upon check in my family of 4 and our full luggage ca... Read more

The lady working breakfast knocked the spoon used for the eggs onto the floor and did not wash it nor replace it with a clean spoon. She was very rude. She yelled at my husband when he asked could he have some eggs and the pan of eggs was in front of her while she was on her cell phone. The jacuzzi was not working when we arrived. The tub was broken.

This is a nice hotel that has lots of potential, but needs to pay closer attention to details. Despite the cons listed below, I would recommend this hotel if you are visiting the area because the staff is accommodating and willing to rectify problems. Pros: -Check in was very easy for traveling with a large group. -We had luggage handling service which was executed efficiently. -Very polite and accommodating staff -Comfortable beds and nice room setup -Meeting room -Breakfast available -Pa... In town for 4th of July celebration at Stone Mountain Georgia. The hotel is a good place to crash after a long hot day in Stone Mountain, not a place if you are looking for luxury. I would rate it a 2.5-star. We checked in during the evening time and it was not busy. The room seemed to be clean and everything worked fine. I would give the bed a C+ comfort rating. We used the salt water pool and hot tub (indoor only) and it was quite small but was not crowded so it was refreshing after a long da... Read more

If you are looking for a place to stay in the Stone Mountain area, this is a recommended location. I can't speak for comparison between other hotels in the area, but this one was enjoyed by my family. The kids loved the indoor pool! Free breakfast was decent, and the staff was very friendly. I have heard the elevator has an issue with getting stuck, and it did happen while we were there, however we always used the stairs so we never had an issue with it.

Brought our AAU basketball team in for a tournament. The hotel was very accommodating with regard to reservations, as much of Stone mountain was booked for the same. We had a group of ten 15 year old boys, and the staff was very nice to us which isn't always the case so that was a nice touch. Breakfast was okay and the room was decent. Location is excellent, you can walk next door to Wendy's or drive less than one minute to Walmart. Rooms have a fridge and microwave which we appreciated. T... Read more

I was sent here by the stone mountain inn when they couldn't extend my stay another day. I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It was very nice. I was very comfortable here. My room was clean. I had no problems. Staff were extremely accommodating when we decided to extend our stay a few more days. The only thing that I thought could have been a little better was breakfast. Have stayed at this hotel numerous times - most recently in October 2015. The staff is always courteous, the rooms clean and nicely appointed, the breakfast bar more than adequate - with a wide range of options to select from. Very close to Stone Mountain Park. Highly recommended. One item of caution: if you're putting this address into GPS, make sure to add "SW" to the street address - otherwise, you'll end up on the wrong side of Stone Mountain!

Nice accommodations. Family friendly stay. We felt safe and slept amazingly. Kids even slept in for the first time in forever!! We slept so well we missed breakfast. Parking was easy as well as loading and unloading the car. Perfectly located next to any shopping required for a trip as well as easy access to stone mountain attraction.

I was disappointed in the general upkeep and cleanliness of the facilities. The room and facility was tired and worn. Our room was not serviced. That said, the hotel was quiet and there was a small business center, pool and fitness facility. We stayed because it was near family/activities/Stone Mountain, but would not stay there again.

I agree with the last review that the hotel seemed unkept. The carpet on stairs seemed to not have been vacuumed in a few days. Wallpaper in lobby area was peeling off the wall. The front desk area was very dirty. The check-in attendant was pre-occupied on the phone complaining to someone about the elevator repairman. Once he checked us in, he never looked us in the eye and was not very accommodating. As we were walking to our room, he was back on the phone complaining again. Our room was clean ... Read more

The water was out due to an accident. It was not the hotel's fault. We always stayed at this hotel and were pleased every time. This time our stay became disgusting very quickly as we filled up the toilet. I won't stay here again just to avoid the memories. The problem was not fixed by the time we left and had to hit the road without showers. YUCK! No thanks for the memories.

So we checked in on 8/13/16. We were greeted by a very nice lady who let us know we could not check in until a little after 2. So we went to eat. When we came back, we were given a room with a view of the mountain, as requested. All was good until around 11 p.m.. I began to hear some arguing outside our window. When I looked outside I can see a man and a woman by a car outside. The man was visibly upset as he kept getting in the car and slamming the door. I finally fell asleep only to b... Read more
