I truly love staying here. Emma's is a big draw for me. After a long day I don't have to go out of the hotel if I don't want to. The lobby is beautiful and the common areas are very nice. There were not enough outlets in the room. One in the lamp by the bed did not work. The lobby desk is very tall and unfortunately, I am not. If I put my purse on the desk, it is taller than me. Hard to get your credit card out if you can't see it. The chairs at the table (no desk) in my room were very c... Read more

Nice hotel with nice decor. Room spacious, bed very comfortable. No trouble keeping the room temperature just right (as is the case with some places). 2 negatives- walls not very insulated (or the people next door were VERY loud). And I had a hard time keeping the wi-fi connected on my phone. Lots of restaurants close by, with a chili's being right next door. Will definitely say again.

This is a real three-star hotel. I arrived here in the late afternoon on a Thursday. This hotel has conference facilities, on-site restaurant, outdoor pool (closed for the season), a nice rear patio area, an inviting lobby area, free WIFI, and free parking. The rooms are well appointed, however, they may consider changing whatever they launder sheets with because the sheets did not smell fresh. As a result of the sheets not smelling fresh, I pulled out my light sleeping bag insert and used it. T... Read more

Can't express enough how important exhaust fans should be in hotel room bathrooms, especially in order to keep humidity down in the entire room. Overall well maintained Holiday Inn with very friendly and helpful staff. Did not try the restaurant/bar or room service. Tricky getting into the hotel from the main street but plenty of parking. The A/C was a little loud when it kicked on. Insulation between the room and hallways is lacking and you can hear anyone talking in the hallway.

The hotel is perfectly located near the center of town, restaurants and shopping. The rooms are nicely decorated with all necessary amenities, except I couldn't find a USB port anywhere in the room. The staff is very courteous, friendly and customer oriented, from check-in to the restaurant staff to housekeeping. Nice outdoor patio for beautiful mornings and cool evenings. Quiet and tucked away at the back of the hotel. Very affordable prices and excellent service!!!

I travel to Statesboro frequently to visit family. I used to stay at the Hampton Inn but never again as this hotel is a great value and the amenities are far superior. I had no issues during the stay except the front desk staff could have been a little more friendly vs.standing and texting. Every aspect of the large room was perfect with no cleanliness issues, noise or daily housekeeping.

The room was really nice, the pool is an outside pool so it was just a little dirty probably due to weather. Free coffee down stairs was good. No breakfast, unless you bought it from Emma's. Staff was excellent.

Statesboro being the small town that it is doesn't have a place to stay AND eat. This is the ONLY place in town that you can do that! This is the nicest hotel in town, very clean/courteous staff. Emma's restaurant is inside of the hotel (don't forget to get your FREE FULL breakfast tickets -:). You will eat some of the best food in the world at Emma's. The food is GREAT!!! The locals go there for the best breakfast and lunch in town. You CAN'T go wrong with this hotel.

I didn't have electricity at my home & stayed at the holiday inn express for the night. The service was great, room was clean, bed was very comfortable. The restaurant at the hotel is wonderful, they offer a buffet type lunch that is awesome. I would definitely stay again.

This Holiday Inn is awesome. It's fresh-looking and appealing, has a nice lobby, with excellent staff at the front desk. The mattresses are AMAZING, the TV was good, internet speedy. In fact, the wireless internet was running out of my closet, so it should've been speedy. Only disadvantage there was no free breakfast, but there's a nice restaurant below. It looked good. There's a Chili's right next door in walking distance. Parking is plentiful, there's even parallel parking near the fron... Read more

Came into town for a funeral. Thankfully room available as next day was GA Southern move-in day. Clean, updated rooms. Internet worked fine. Speedy check in (keys were already made.) Restaurant was decent for breakfast. Buffet price was reasonable (think it was 8.95) and had a good selection but was inconsistent. Bacon cooked perfectly. Biscuits and gravy were great. Eggs were COLD (they did offer eggs to order, which I should have done). Coffee cold too until the 2nd pass of it. If I had to c... Read more

After a long day with family it was a great surprise when checking in. First, hotel was recommended by family member good thing I had GPS as it is a hidden gem. Wife and I arrived at 9:30 pm and walking into the lobby (beautiful) was greeted by staff member with a smile "Good Evening Sir how can we help you". Can't beat good old southern charm and manners. Was quoted a room rate but had to ask for different rates, not a problem desk person hooked us up. Internet is free and strong signal... Read more

This is a very nice hotel near the Georgia Southern University campus. We will definitely will use again! :) I would recommend asking that you not get a room that has another room attached. We stayed in a room that had an adjacent door to the next room and we could hear a lot of voices from the next room.

I have not stayed in a Holiday Inn in a long time, much preferring Hilton properties. But I have to say that this stay was a very pleasant surprise. The room was very comfortable and clean. We were also using a conference room and those arrangements were taken care of in excellent fashion. The staff was very attentive to changing needs we had and made sure that our 2-day event went off without a hitch.

This Holiday Inn was awesome! We stayed there for 3 weeks for training and they were super accommodating for us. The staff answered any and all questions we had, and made our long stay as comfortable as possible. The hotel in general seemed very clean, and our rooms were very neat and clean. Arick made check in breezy and Drew made check out extremely easy. Adam that worked in the restaurant in the hotel is possibly the best server we've ever had. I would definitely stay here again.

Because of an unexpected opportunity to overnight in Statesboro, I had the opportunity to stay at the Holiday Inn Express on the bypass. I called in the late afternoon asking for 4 nights, but because of a Thursday night football game at the local college, the could only accommodate one night, Tuesday. I moved to another motel for the other three nights.

The Holiday Inn Statesboro was a comfortable place to stay and was very accommodating to my high school choral group for the one night we were there. Amy Cowart was an excellent liaison during the process of booking rooms and organizing breakfast, making for an easy process on my end. The facilities were nice, breakfast was delicious, and we were taken great care of!

Overall it was a wonderful place and almost perfect facility. It was very clean and nicely appointed. The Director of Sales, Meagan, was so accommodating in every way. She went out of her way many times to assure that we had what we needed and more. A couple of things got off kilter at times, but these were quickly and easily taken care of by Meagan and her staff. My sister and I have stayed at the Holiday Inn Statesboro several times during the past year to take care of some family matters since our Mom's passing (she lived in a nearby town). This location has functioned as a "home away from home" since neither of us live in the area and we were initially unfamiliar with the city. (I live in Marietta, GA; my sister lives in Miami, FL). The staff is always amazing especially Aleshia who's been the front desk agent during several of our stays. Alesha wa... Read more
