My family throughly enjoyed our stay here. The room was spacious and clean and had everything that we needed. The shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the shower were a nice touch. The housekeeping service was excellent and did a great job of keeping the room clean and well stocked. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was in a great location within walking distance of shopping and dining. We did not use the pool. We would definitely return.

The room was big and comfortable, clean but tired. With the exception of one staff member they others didn't appear to finish the hospitality course for hotel personnel on friendly customer service. The room was way over priced in my opinion.

Wooden floors rather than carpets, clean and spacious and a lightening wifi. Walking distance to the pier and shops. Lots of good restaurants and specialty shops. Took a 2 hour tour and learned a lot about the history of the island.

Place was nice, but continental breakfast prepackaged danish was cut in half with wrapper and plastic flowers and plants that were old and dust made place so tacky. Don't they know that less tacky decor is better. The place can be one of the best place if they change few things.

My wife and I visited SSI for a week and decided to try this hotel. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The location was perfect, it was reasonably priced and the rooms were great. I can't tell you how great our stay was. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip. View from our room was excellent.

We paid $260 for our room. It is a great location, and the facility is nice. You can not check in prior to 3 unless you pay $30. In our case, they did let us check in at 2:30 but we were not happy about the $30 policy after paying so much to stay here. They make a big deal out of the free breakfast, but what they serve you is not even what you would get at LaQunita. They put out coffee, orange juice, bananas, and cheap plastic wrapped danishes (the same kind you see at a convenience store). I co... Read more

The location was great, but it was way over priced. Had to pay additional per person fees for kids to tune of 15 per person. Breakfast was nothing..did not eat. Beds comfortable but shower was cold with no water pressure. One of the employees checking in was nice and told us places to go..the other 2 acted like we were an inconvenience. Ads show incredible view, but most of the rooms were in the back with view of the dumpsters....not worth the price

There are positives and negatives about this place. Positives: great location! Walking distance from the little center and all restaurants. The wood floors are nice too. I can't stand old dirty carpet you see in most hotels. Rooms have a nice little balcony. Negatives: the shower head sucks! It sprays water, very uncomfortable! It's called oxygenated I think. I was in room number 110 , not sure if they have the same type of shower head in all rooms. I think they use this type because their water... Read more

The location and accommodations were nice overall, except that the pool closed at 8pm in July. We were not happy about that. Upon arrival to check in, the counter lady told me that I had reserved a room for one adult and two children and that that was not what I had with me. My children are 16 and 13, and yes they are tall but still children. She said that 13 and older is considered an adult and that she would have to charge me an extra $15. The room I reserved was for a king and queen bed with ... Read more

The inn is in a great location near the village and pier. Love the rooms and d├ęcor, need to improve quality of towels. Also would prefer individual soaps and shampoos instead of bulk dispensed products. Can't beat the rate though for summertime on St Simons.

I was very impressed by the staff here - we were there for a business trip and they were extremely helpful with all our paperwork. Every staff member who I came in contact with was so polite and sweet. The location is perfect and the rooms were nice too, although the water pressure was lacking in the showers and made it difficult to wash my hair! The pool is very impressive and the swings around the pool are perfect for an afternoon of relaxation. Parking can be a little tight if you are in a ... Read more

1 night..1 too many. Think Pirates of the Caribbean meets low side Las Vegas. Who decorated this place? Threadbare '60s...they must have gotten a closeout on cheesy black/white tiles...yikes...inescapable!! We paid $170...might have been worth $85. A real motel in draggy disguise. Yuck!

Ocean Inn and Suites is across the street from the beautiful lighthouse and the gorgeous park along the waterfront! There is so much to do just outside your door, restaurants, putt-putt, bicycles, shopping, some of the best restaurants in St. Simons village. Friendly staff. Although we did not have a great view from our room, the convenience of the location was a huge plus and our room was excellent otherwise. We will stay here again!

Beautiful place in a beautiful town on a beautiful island! The theme and general feel of the hotel and rooms is just awesome and welcoming. The two ladies that I dealt with at the front desk were both very kind and helpful. My only complaint is we could only stay one night! We will definitely be back! Wes

Hotel is in a great spot....easy walking distance to the pier and all of the shops/restaurants right in that area. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable, but the bed linens and towels could be upgraded.

My husbands does a lot of business at St Simons, and because it is so nice, I tag along when I can. NEVER have I been disappointed here. Great price, Clean attractive rooms. ALL the staff is friendly...my cleaning lady went out of her way to make sure I had everything I desired. GREAT location, view of the village and ocean. I always FEEL relaxed after leaving this great place.

The location of this hotel is fantastic because you can walk to the restaurants/bars, the pier, and light house. However, the wifi is not strong and that was extremely frustrating at times. The shower was extremely rough also.

I really enjoys this hotel. Walking distance to restaurants and the pier. Perfect place to go if you are a bike rider. Check in was easy, just wished their breakfast selection was a little better. Nothing was appealing and the fruit wasn't fresh. Other then that, I enjoyed my stay.

We stop here every year on the way to Florida and have never been disappointed in our accommodations. The staff is wonderful. On-site parking. Close to the shopping area & several restaurants. Directly across from the lighthouse. Hardwood floors in rooms & hallways avoids any issues with "hotel carpeting". Rooms are very quiet, clean, and comfortable. Great value!

My husband and I was looking forward to a night away from a stressful few months and booked this hotel due to the location and beautiful rooms on website. We arrived that afternoon, checked in and was very disappointed to be put in a room in the back over the trash dumpster on third floor. There was only two other cars in parking lot and we were the ONLY ones on our floor! I honestly think there was only one other room being rented other than us. Wouldn't it have been nice to upgrade us to a fro... Read more

I love this little Inn. Here's why: small and friendly, cozy rooms, quiet, pretty with a feel of a marble villa, location in the. I'll age and adjacent to the pool, library, ocean front, lighthouse and pier. Only suggestion is offer island made breakfast pastries and bagels. But it offers a delightful breakfast room and terrace overlooking pool and village common area across the street
