I love animals! This is a great hotelš??? the two big dogs in the dinning room were fine. The bird flying around and landing on people's heads and shoulders and tables was not cool. My dog is a service dog and I leave him in the room. No way I would ever bring him in the restaurant . He is 10 lbs. ..... The two dogs in the dinning room were huge! The room is very nice and the restaurant was great. I don't know if I would come back the bird was a bit much for me!!!!

I LOVE Kimpton hotels. I have stayed at Kimptons in many cities. My mom and I have made it a bit of a tradition to stay in a Kimpton for either of our birthdays, so we do this at least once a year, sometimes twice. What we love about Kimptons is that they are all dog-friendly, the evening wine receptions, and the beautiful design that has been put into the building and the rooms. This specific hotel is in a historic building, which is on the smaller side. We were on the top floor, which is th... Read more

It's fine to be a factory then a motel and then a hotel. What's not so great is to have posh hotel prices for a motel with a bit of a makeover. The staff were very helpful but examples of motely-ness include our bed literally opeing on to the bathroom (which had no sink!! but a shower), as in door 18 inches from bed so as soon as light goes on all awake, and a loud beeping pedestrian crossing all night long immediately outside. No hints or signs of any real or imagined Savannah pas... Read more

On our panhandle roadtrip the Brice Hotel in Savannah was the bestchoice by far! Excellent restaurant (pacci) - although it has bad critics. At the hotel were a lot of dogs - and we love dogs. In almost every room was a different one. Roomservice was great and - thanks to AMEX - we received a 75.- bonus for expenditures in house. Unfortunately we had no time to use the pool that was quiet and peaceful when we visited it! The location between river street and broughton could not be better! Breakf... Read more

First, let me start by saying that I have been a loyal Kimpton fan for years and actually have planned vacations around Kimpton locations. My experience with the Kimpton Brice was so below any Kimpton experience I have ever had. The hotel itself was dated and seemed more of a "motel" than a "hotel". The doors were accessible from the outside and the bathrooms were small with the sink in a different room and the shower in a bathtub. The water pressure was only a trickle and the water barely got ... Read more

The Brice is a 3 story boutique hotel situated between Bay St. and Washington Square; which is a nice, quiet neighborhood. Style, distinction, warmth and intimacy are key words in describing the architecture of the in and outside of this hotel. Quaint lobby area with comfortable seating and happy hour consisting of wine and an appetizer at 5 pm. Loved having a bike provided to ride around the historic district. My favorite being the fact that my room overlooked the open air courtyard with lights... Read more

Stayed here for a short anniversary trip. The location of this hotel is great. Its a very easy walk to the waterfront where there are many shops, bars, and restaurants. Its also walking distance to just about anywhere else downtown. I've stayed at Kimpton properties before, and as always the service was excellent. When I booked the room, I had made note that it was an anniversary trip. Shortly after check in, a complimentary dessert was delivered to our room with a personalized note. The added d... Read more

Upon arrival, the lobby and restaurant are what we expected in terms of aesthetic and offerings. Unfortunately, the rest of the property was disappointing. It's not quite of the standard of other Kimpton properties (I've stayed in at least 6 across the US). These are somewhat easy fixes too - the carpets both outdoors (just remove the carpet and find another solution!) and indoors are tired and majorly stained in a somewhat skeevy way. Our room carpet wasn't quite as bad but still badly stai... Read more

We loved this hotel. Great location, clean, friendly staff, eclectic vibe, is better in person than the pictures. Pool area was very clean. If we visit Savannah again we will definitely stay here again. We would highly recommend to friends or family visiting the area.

Hotel was way above our expectations. Room was modern, clean and the beds were amazing. We even had a balcony overlooking the pool. They had a complimentary happy hour between 5 and 6, and coffee in the lobby every morning. Our room also included a continental breakfast which was quite nice. Appearances are deceiving as there was also a big atrium off of the lobby. It's well located a block from the river, and a short walk to most sights Very dog friendly should you care Definitely reco... Read more
